We had planned to use Farrow and Ball, but after I found a few builders/decorators forums complaining that quality isn't good enough...I noticed the name Little Greene kept popping up, recommended as a better alternative by decorators. - They have similar "English heritage" colours to F&B (although it seemed like an even larger range...with a few brighter colours mixed in) - As with F&B, they paint the little strips on their colour charts (rather than print them) so you can see the exact colours - They have oil based paints for external hardwood - They have a similar finish to F&B, but it is more hard wearing. - The staff are really, helpful, chatty and lovely...and give good advice. - They mix each pot especially for you. In the end, this paint was cheaper than F&B, but I like the service and the actual paint quite a lot more. Sweet.
