Horrible horrible experience. Rude front desk. Just look at their negative reviews and you will see rude front staff is a recurring theme at this place. I recommend management take a look at how patients are being treated here. Yelpers beware, sort by negative reviews and you will see other experiences. Also if you notice, many of the positive reviews are left by people who have 0 or 1 friend on Yelp (newer accounts)...which should be a red flag at the legitimacy of these reviews. My experience: I booked an appointment for today June 7 at 3pm as a new patient. I submitted all my paperwork and confirmed my appointment via email (see screenshot). I took time off work, spent 20 dollars each way on Uber, when I get in she says she doesn't have me on the books. I showed her my email confirmation and she seems confused. Then the lady on the computer in the back glances over and says They texted me to reschedule and I never responded so they cancelled. This is simply not true. I unsubscribed from texts a week ago but confirmed via email, also they never texted me like she said to reschedule. When I showed the lady my email and texts, she said oh it must have not gone through on our end. How is that my fault? Then I asked if they could see me and she said no. And then she kinda shrugged and let me walk out. No apology, no let me try to squeeze you in, nothing. Horrible first time experience, I got an email this morning (way after I unsubscribed from texts) that I was confirmed. What a waste of my time and money. Of course technical difficulties happen, but how they treated me when they found out there was an issue on their end is unacceptable and horrible. One of the best coolest Dental office! Everyone are super duper friendly and professional, the doctors are amazing and on point, equipments are top notch high tech! X-ray feels like your in a space or in a video game! After my long-time dentist retired and I had a bad experience trying to find a new one, my mom recommended Nice Teeth Dental and I am SO glad that she did as I've had a great experience here so far. The entire Nice Teeth team from the receptionists and schedulers to the hygienists and dentists have all been very kind, friendly, and professional. I appreciated how organized they were with appointment reminders, sending electronic forms that you could fill-out beforehand, and all of the COVID precautions they were taking during this time that made me feel safe (i.e. social distancing stickers, COVID questionnaire before each appointment, temperature check, hand sanitizing/hand washing, air purifiers, along with the many other procedures they do to clean the rooms). At the pre-exam, the hygienists and Dr. Quan were very thorough and explained the plan for my appointment, what they would be checking and why, and what would happen at my next appointment, so I knew what to expect. My hygienist, Stefani, was wonderful and also had the same approach of making me feel welcome, while explaining the plan for my visit (cleaning) and any concerns she or the doctor had. I can honestly say that this was the best experience I've ever had going to the dentist, and I finally believe my mom, because she would say the same thing after her visits and I was always a little skeptical. But she was right--Stefani assessed what areas had some gum recession and cleaned gently, but thoroughly, and it was the most pain-free appointment I've ever had. The office and exam rooms were clean, bright, and modern. They used technology that I've never seen before to make things smoother for them, but also for us as patients. The parking lot wasn't the largest, but with patient staggering, you should be able to find a space. Otherwise, there's plenty of street parking available. Nice Teeth is conveniently located and has a good parking lot. The entrance is on the first floor, so no stairs, yay! The desk staff are great. Answered all my questions about a change in Delta Dental insurance. Danika cleaned my teeth. She is friendly and engaging. I hate going to the dentist bc you always have to wait even when you have an appointment. This place however does not make you wait. They take you exactly when your appointment is. They are very professional and nice from the front desk to the assistant to the Dr. I would highly recommend them. You could tell how good a company is when it's hard to get an appointment. They have availability literally a few months out. Please understand that, the amount that you pay isnt like other dentists places, but you pay for what you get. This place is not cheap but everything is done in house. I got veneers done and didn't have to go home with fakes and return when the actual veneer was ready. They did it all in house which was awesome. Dr. Chen lecturers you like a teacher/parent but only bc he loves what he does and cares for his clients. As an avid sports enthusiast and having just completed my invisalign, I wanted to ensure that I didn't injure or damage my new and straightened teeth - (I already have an implant due to a cracked crown). Dr. Chen recommended that I use a sports guard that he makes in his office. The process was very impressive and easy.It was made with a scanner that was essentially a wand that took pictures of my teeth in less than 5 minutes. No need for that gag-inducing goop that they used to have to use. Then Dr. uses a 3D printer to print it out in his office. It was the easiest dental appt I've ever have. Within a remarkably short period, my custom mouth guard was ready for use. The material used was durable, yet flexible enough to ensure a comfortable fit and unhindered speech. Most importantly, the guard provided excellent protection during intense physical activity (grappling), thanks to its snug fit and comfortable design. I highly recommend Dr. Chen's mouthguard to any athlete or sports enthusiast who values their teeth and overall health. read more

I scheduled an appointment a few weeks ago and was taken aback by how the front office communicates with patients. I got an email a few days before my appointment threatening to cancel my appointment if I didn't "confirm". Most dental offices send a reminder and ask that you cancel if you can't make it. This office needs multiple confirmations which is ridiculous. I asked Jackie to cancel my appointment and saved myself the trouble. She mentioned it was 12 days since we last communicated... I like the office it's clean, and up to date in technology. The staff is very friendly as well. So you may ask why a 3 instead of a 5. Well, I made an appointment over a month ago for a exam and cleaning. That process was pretty simple, they send you forms online and they ask for your insurance information up front as well. When I arrive, like I said earlier the staff is very friendly and the office is very neat. I meet my new dentist, and the hygienist went through the normal procedures of X-rays. Then dentist returns and does oral exam and gives diagnosis. That all went great. Except they said I have to come back for a cleaning at another time, they only do exam for new patients in 1st appointment and cleaning on the next. Which would of been ok if they had told me that when I scheduled my appointment. But, I have never went to a new dentist and they didn't do an exam and cleaning in same appointment. It's hard enough to get one day off now I have to get two. That was a bit frustrating so took 1 star off for that. The other thing that bother me was that they didn't tell me ahead of time that my insurance considered them out of network, which meant I have to pay more out of pocket. I know it's not their fault they are out of network. But Its a bit annoying they didn't tell me that up front so I could make my own decision if it's worth to pay more to see them. Also now I have to find an in network dentist, and have to pay completely out pocket for the new dentist to give an exam and X-rays, because my insurance will only pay for the exam and X-rays once a year. I took two stars for this because I feel like They were not up front with pricing and because of that I have to pay more money out of pocket. I gave one star back because they waived my portion of the fee for the X-ray and exam. However, they still charged my insurance. read more

Dr Chen and his staff were amazing - yet again I find myself with dental phobia and pain! - its been quite some time since I visited a dental office because of my extreme phobia! I was greeted with a friendly smile and calming atmosphere - was quickly brought in for xrays and was explained what the issue was and how to go about fixing it- Dr. Jason Chen explained and assured me it would be a quick and easy repair- words that put me at ease- his assistant was very nice and made sure that I was feeling ok before they started my procedure- I did not feel the anesthetic shot! I've been to this office a handful of times over the last year for a consultation and cosmetic related work. Literally everyone I've encountered whether on the phone, email, or in person- from the ladies in the front specifically Melon & Tamra, another woman who helped me last year with purple hair (I don't recall her name), dental assistant Brandon, and Dr. Brian have been so nice and accommodating. Dr. Brian was very patient when explaining the bonding process and without judgement when looking at my teeth which is very important to me. On the day of my bonding appointment, he took his time and did such a great job that people have taken notice. I'm smiling more often these days (in the mirror and in general lol) and have referred a few people I know already.
