They have a sign that says "expert" tailoring but I'd say it's more like "good enough" tailoring because the patch work I got done was in fact good enough but certainly in no way an "expert" application. While I could have complained about it when I picked it up I'm ok with the good enough job since the shirt I'm using and the patch I needed applied would have been nice if it were placed with proper alignment but I'm ok with the way it was applied for my needs. If I'm ok with how it was applied why am I complaining? I'm not necessarily complaining but pointing out that this place doesn't have "expert" tailoring and I also didn't want to go without the shirt another week since I needed the shirt in the coming week. If my patch needed perfect accuracy for a job or something of a more serious nature I would have requested it be fixed. If you need expert tailoring I'd probably go elsewhere especially if you need patches applied to any article of clothing. Will I be back? Sure, for washing services only because if I need more patches applied I will most certainly be finding another tailor to do that work for me. This was my very first time doing business here and this review is my initial impressions and experience. Maybe next time a patch job will be perfect, sadly I won't allow a next time for patch work or any tailoring.

I also told her if she couldn't do it, to let me know and I'd book someone else. She ASSURED me that they'd make the timing work. Fast forward to yesterday and less than an hour before they're supposed to show up, the owner texts me to tell me they have to reschedule for 5 hours later or today. I immediately texted her back saying that this was NOT what we agreed on and to call me. She didn't call me. In fact, I waited about 30 minutes to hear ANYTHING from her. Her name is Monica. About 30 minutes later after not hearing back. I called the company about 10 times in a row. She finally texted me back and told me that she could get another tech out to me in an hour. Marissa showed up and did such an amazing job. I would highly recommend requesting her. The apartment looked like a war zone after we moved out and after she left, it looked amazing. Truly.

We recently used The Bubble Basin's Wash n' Fold service, after a long holiday season without doing wash (read: several loads of laundry, including towels and linens). Every interaction with owners, Amy + Louis, from first phone call through clean clothes received, was extremely pleasurable, leaving me happily surprised each time - with actual smile on face. Everything was super simple as well! I called and spoke with Amy, who was very friendly and informative, about using their Wash n' Fold service. Once my laundry was gathered and bagged later that afternoon, I called back and spoke with Amy's husband, Louis, this time, who was equally easy to speak with, and very friendly. Shortly after (early evening) Amy came to my house (wearing a mask), to pick up our laundry. I had some special requests (certain clothes to be washed only, others not to be folded, etc.), which I'd written down and also went over with her. She said it wasn't a problem and would have the clothes ready early the next day. She then stopped by that same night with the clean load of clothes for wash only, as she did not want them sitting wet overnight... so thoughtful! As promised, early the next afternoon, Amy dropped off the remaining laundry, all clean and neatly folded. One of my laundry bags had a large tear in it - Amy went out of her way to sew it up for me! She also found a precious stone in satchel I'd forgotten in my pillow case, and made sure I got it back. I really can't say enough great things about my experience with The Bubble Basin... the owners are extremely friendly, and the service is outstanding, truly above and beyond! If you've been hesitant on going there, especially since last ownership was not so great, don't wait another moment... you won't regret it!
