I also saw some old-school children's books! The hubs and I stopped by while we were in the area, and we were greeted warmly. The place allows you to peruse with no hassle - be sure to check out the back room as well! I found cute little old light bulbs, hand-painted to look like snowmen - I had to get these! In addition, they were having a sale for seasonal items, so that was an added bonus! The nice gentleman (who looked so dapper, by the way!), was so sweet and kind. Usually, antique/vintage stores can be more of a miss than a hit, but this place was super charming and seems to have something for everyone! Love small businesses like this! Check them out when you're in town - you won't regret it! +antiques and vintage items +friendly and welcoming service! +great selection +limited residential parking

I was surprised to come here and find a lack of reviews. My husband and I made a short and lovely…read moreday trip to Annapolis and stumbled onto this shop. We had a great time talking with the owners, who regaled us with knowledge of their items and experiences. My husband, a nerd about astronomy, was particularly interested in seeing if they had a sextant, which they did, and had a great time examining and trying to use it. The owners had no problem showing us items. We were *not* pressured into buying anything, and they genuinely seemed happy to engage us in conversation. I ended up buying some vintage ladies home journals on a whim, after randomly finding them on a table. I just liked how they looked, and for a very low price was able to get a bundle. We had so much fun just walking around and looking at the items. We can't wait to come back when we're ready to make a bigger purchase for our future home!

It even said that the poster had an original tax stamp on it. To my surprise shipping was $99 and the frame arrived shattered. The poster was a cheap 21st century reproduction and even the stamp was printed on!! I bid $50 and would have bid higher thinking it was an original piece. When I called the auction house scared about shipping costs, they threatened to have me banned from this action and others on hibid. Beware of this auction house as it may be a scam and/or false advertisement. Edit: the owner replied to my review and another recent review saying they never did business with us. He is a liar. I even attached a photo of what I bought and I'm pretty sure he's the man I spoke to on the phone. Also posting a pic of my invoice here for reference and you can see every detail of what I wrote is true.

They have some cute things, but the store is very small and cramped, with barely enough room to walk through. There are more items outside on a porch, but again it's kind of hard to move around to get out there and see everything. The young lady working in the shop was too busy talking on her cell phone to acknowledge me until I came to the register with a picture I wanted to buy. At this point, she says "You do know we only take cash or checks, right?" Really? This is 2012, what legitimate business doesn't accept credit cards? I mean seriously.....you can get a Square-Up card reader for FREE and run them right from your phone! I can't tell you the last time I wrote a check, don't even think I have any, and I never carry cash (as many people don't), so this store just lost not only this sale but any future sales they may have made with me.
