After failing a visual inspection for a slightly bent PCV hose going to the Cold Air Intake on my K&N intake, which is normal (this just how it comes from K&N) and multiple trips back and forth with no progress at all (lots of time/days lost), I decided to abandon ship from Jefferson Smog/Auto repair as I realized they were failing customers so they can make money "repairing their non-existing issues" and give Nice &Easy a try since they were only a few miles away. My prayers were answered as my truck passed first time and my cost only ended up being $49.00. These guys are very honest don't try making a side business on unnecessary repairs and get you back on the road quickly. I highly recommend this place and will be sure that I will be going here for all my smog check needs. read more

This really was as easy as the reviews note. No one gets excited about getting their DMV smog notice, so I scoured Yelp for the least painful smog place, and this is definitely it. It's easy enough to find, and there's plenty of parking, but they have a spot right in front for convenience. The entire thing took less than 20 minutes, and every one there is so dang nice and happy. They were able to complete my smog check and used my DMV notice to fax over the passing score. I mean there's really not much to say here, so to save you time here's the bullet pointed version: For reference my interactions were primarily with Nancy. - Very polite - Process was outlined before I handed anything over (yes I know it's a smog check, but still: credit where credit is due) - Small talk was enjoyable - Waiting room was comfortable (couch and tv with muted news rolling) - There are dogs outside (careful if you have allergies: I do not, there was lots of petting) - The whole experience was maybe 20 minutes (came in mid-9am-ish on a Thr, for future context this was during the pandemic) - Price is reasonable (who pays $60+ for a smog check...) - Reference: my vehicle is a 2007 sedan IF you made it this far and aren't already planning your next check for this place and are looking for the punchline: yes I would come here again and given the wholesome experience I wouldn't mind paying extra. Stopped by this morning 10 minutes before scheduled open time and they were already open. Diego the Technician welcomed me and provided me paperwork to fill out while he started the Smog Check. His wife (Nancy) showed up and completed the paperwork. This is a family run business with that works hard to earn your business. The Smog Check was completed quickly (15 minutes). Fantastic service. Adrianna was so nice, professional, friendly, attentive and helpful. DMV lost track of me and I was behind in registering my car! I needed to get it taken care of before I went out of town (and would be parking my car on the street and risk getting my car impounded if I didn't have the new stickers on. I paid the $30 fee to have that done and paid for my SMOG. Done! What a fun place! I love the puzzles and mind games on the TV. Makes the time fly and my wait was not long in any case. Getting a smog check has always been a headache for us, just something else to worry about. Not this time! my husband purchased a truck from another state. In order to register it in California we have to get a smog check. He decided to take it here, best decision he made. Adriana and her father run a business very well, they definitely enjoy what they do. They were both very friendly, the facility is clean and they have little puzzles and other things to keep you entertained while you wait. Not only was the entire process fast... They can also do the entire process of registering the truck for us! That means we won't have to wait in line for hours at the DMV... or schedule an appointment with months in advanced. I took my car there this morning. They have 2 bays to work in. My car died during the smog check. He was able to get the smog check done before it died, and it passed. They were so nice. My husband is a mechanic next door, so I called him over to see. What was wrong. I felt so bad, my car was stuck in their bay. He loaned us a battery charger and dad let it charge as long as you need. My husband was able to move it over to his shop after charging for a bit. These people are amazing!! I found Nice & Easy after being turned away by Temecula Smog not once, but TWICE. I was walking into Temecula smog last week and was told the technician went home for the day. Fine, whatever, they gave me a coupon for $10 off as an apology and told to come back. I go back today and as I walk up to the door, a guy is locking up and tells me they're closing early for the day. Like, are you kidding me?!?!? Again?! Not going back there again. Nice & Easy was just a few minutes away and I called to make sure they were still open... the lady on the phone was so friendly, told me to drive safe, and when I arrived I was greeted by Nancy who was extremely helpful and friendly. Smog check time!!! This place is on a small side street off of Jefferson. It's basically street parking, but there isn't really much else around, so that's not an issue, in my opinion. I guess I must have shown up during a lull because it was a Saturday and I was honestly expecting everything to take at least half an hour. But fortunately when I arrived, there was no one else waiting so I was helped straight away and my car was done in about 10-15 minutes. It ended up being about $40 (after a $5 discount). I think that's pretty much on par as far as pricing. I was intending on renewing my registration there was well, since it is a service they offer. But the lady at the front was nice enough to recommend doing it online since I had time, because they have to charge a $30 fee. Good lookin' out! I definitely appreciate that she didn't just try and take my money. When an establishment looks out for its customers, I will always come back. Thanks! read more

I had such a nice experience I could not NOT write a positive review. I was having a tough day when I went to get my car smog checked in June. The nice lady there asked me how I was doing and when I told her my Mother had passed away she was compassionate and sat down with me to care. It was unexpected therefore memorable.
