On July 21st we adopted a scrawny looking little 4 lb female brown and black tabby named Dela, who…read morelooked like she needed some TLC and peace and quiet. She apparently hadn't had a lot of interaction with people, (or people who were kind to her), tended to hiss and lash out a lot. Patience and love have had an effect, and she is starting to warm up to us as we gain her trust. The biggest problem was her sensitive stomach, since she would wolf down her food and then upchuck everything. I have found that Purina One, hairball formula is helping, and I also bought an automatic cat feeder that dispenses about 8 grams of food 5 times a day, plus I give her one 80 gram can of wet food in the AM. Seems to be working! She has put on some weight, and her coat is looking beautiful and fluffy and shiny. Hard to tell it's the same cat my Grandson says. Dela is coming along nicely, and even though at times she is hard to love, we love her just the same. I commend the Humane Society of Welland for helping animals like Dela and others, and I am glad I could find this little cat there. We live in Welland ON

The girl at the counter that was already being really rude then told us that they were keeping him because we have no right to him because he is a stray. We had called prior to going and we were told that we can bring him in to get check and then bring him back home but apparently not because they took it just like that. moral of the story: The workers are really rude (and treat you like an idiot) And they might just steal your cat. if you have a stray and want it to be checked for a micro chip bring it to your vet not the humane society!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't recommend this business at all. He (the Lawrence…read moreByker guy) would repeatedly yell at my dog to "shut up" when she barked at him. A couple times, I saw him raise his foot to the dog's chest, as if he was going to kick her - but he stopped just before his foot made contact with her chest. I saw no special training skills. No trust for this guy/business at all. I see the Better Business Bureau gives this business an "F" and it is not BBB accredited. He does not address complaints or concerns. My experience - he says he doesn't know who you are and denies everything. As the BBB website states, does not address complaints in good faith, if at all. As others said, he trashtalks everyone. A friend of mine said to be wary of any dog papers he tries to sell you - ask lots of questions. Better yet, I recommend that you take your business elsewhere.

This was almost 10 months ago. He was on us to send the money ASAP so he could get the paperwork done. I have it a few weeks, contacted Larry and was told it was all done and in the mail. Waited a few more weeks and low and behold he was at the post office as the paperwork work was sent back due to an incorrect postal code. Waited a couple months still nothing, he had no idea what could have happened. But this time we ended up canceling our trip (Costa Rica for the winter, lost our deposit ect) because we could not be sure that the paperwork work would be in. Contacted him again and this time he was in the hospital, ect. Excuse after excuse and honestly I wonder if this was even legitimate! Our dog has been trained by ourselves, with the help of a trainer. She has traveled numerous timea but airlines don't allow emotional support dogs any more. We trusted him as he claims to be a veteran.

I could've set a banana on my counter and got that for free. I call and speak to management - she says it's bc of the temperature ?? And when they're "too hot in the reptile room they grow wings and fly some of them". Like huh?? SoI try to explain I'm very experienced here - I'm retired but used to be very big in the reptile industry and bred thousands of my own fruit flies - and said I'm sorry but you're wrong. flightless HYdei HAVE wings and are genetically predisposed to not flying. It's a GENE. I told her yours are tainted with regular flying fruit Flies. Her answer - I'm not going to argue with you, you can just give them back. Then she repeats the same answer of why I have "some" flying around. They're ALL flying. I explained the gas would be more to drive there and return them, that I was now more concerned over the bad info she was pushing considering. She repeated the same untrue info on flightless fruit fly genetics. ?? Then she kept adding I'm not going to argue. My only concern for posting this is - what else do these workers push as qualified knowledgeable info to customers that is completely wrong?? It's a simple product and issue but her info on this is incorrect. I ran a hot professional breeding facility for 18 years. I breed fruit flies like crazy. I'm concerned that employees there are acting like they know when they don't and it'll hurt customers looking
