My fear of doing the wrong thing was affecting my dog and was making me an ineffective dog owner. Jason corrected my behaviour so that we could correct my puppy's behaviour. She's 6 months old right now and is a very relaxed and well adjusted pup. Nobody ever tells you just how much work having a puppy is and Jason put my mind at ease and gave me the confidence to take her out and not over react to situations because now I KNOW that she will come when called. With Jason's help I learned to enjoy my puppy and everything that comes with being a puppy. I realize that her puppyhood is short lived and I am enjoying every minute of it. Within my first meeting with Jason I learned the basics of what to do and what not to do, what dogs need in order to thrive, (and no, it's not just bones and love) and how to properly communicate with my dog to let her know what I want from her. Trust is key in a relationship with your pet and I wouldn't have learned that without Jason's help. No amount of reading puppy books or talking to other dog owners will give you the in depth knowledge and hands on experience that Jason will provide. All the instructors and assistants are fantastic! Supernova has a gorgeous facility and all instruction is based on positive reinforcement and helping your dog to make good choices. They do an excellent job explaining what each baby step is meant to solidify--so that you as a human aren't tempted to skip a step and then wonder why your dog hasn't consistently followed through with their obedience skills. Classes are usually small (and/or have assistants to help) so that your dog gets 1-on-1 time to help with any issues you're working through. I have never…read moreowned a dog before and I didn't want to have one of those terrible dogs that jumped all over people and didn't listen. That is where Karen came in. I made arrangements for classes, before Abby had been with us for a full day. Unfortunately due to some unforeseen circumstances, we couldn't attend the classes as we had originally planned. Instead I talked with Karen and we were able to have her come to our house once a week to help us with training. We are on week 3 now and I have to say I notice a huge difference in Abby's behavior. Karen has taken the time to learn what we want out of our class and to educate us on what she expects from us. Her approach has made me more confident in how I deal with our puppy and also how confident Abby is with me. In 3 weeks(1 purely informational/introduction) we have learned the right way to get Abby's attention(look), sit, lay down and proper greeting of guests. She also answered what seems like a million questions I had about everything from walking on a leash, to house breaking and choosing the right type of food. In addition to classes, Karen also runs puppy playdates, barn hunts and other dog friendly events. Karen, in lack of a formal group for "class" visited our home for weekly training sessions. Abby has been very bright and responsive to her positive reinforcement training with Karen! In addition to our solo time with Karen, we have spent time adventuring to the formal training center for a barn hunt, joined a few friends for a puppy social and are looking forward to the possibility of beginning agility training soon! I must note in addition to her fabulous knowledge and skill set with all of the dogs she has interacted with, Karen did not hesitate to also help us through our first scary moment when the adults were away and the puppy broke in to her latched puppy tub, eating a great deal of food and becoming ill. Karen contacted a vet friend, worked with us and the vet through the process of elimination to determine the best next steps and offered to remain available by phone if Abby's health became even further concerning. Karen has an abundance of knowledge and understands owners and their furry friends will find their niche together, she just wants to provide tools to help make things more comfortable for everyone in the house. We've been taking our dogs to Camp Bow Wow for over a year now and they absolutely love it! The…read morestaff are all wonderful and super helpful. Somehow the groomers are always able to get my dog's nails trimmed but it is an absolute struggle at home (they even put up a fight with nail trims at the vet).

He's a ball of energy and we were looking for the perfect place for him to play and socialize with other dogs. Camp Bow Wow is that place! Every day when we wake Henry up he cries and goes for his leash, we know it's because he wants to go play with his friends at Camp Bow Wow The camp counselors are so kind and attentive to all of the dogs they have at the center for the day. Every day they do a different activity with the dogs like bubbles, tunnels, squeaky sounds, etc. It's cute to know that they have different things planned for them each day. I also love Camp Bow Wow because they have live web cams so you can watch your pup play throughout the day. It makes long days at work a little more tolerable because I can watch Henry play with his friends! I can't speak highly enough about Camp Bow Wow. Amazing staff and wonderful conditions for the dogs to play and relax in. Thank you Camp Bow Wow for being so awesome and for loving Henry so much!
