They have snacks and drinks for sale and you're able to move around the boat while it's in motion to look at everything. Our guide narrating everything was HILARIOUS, just absolutely hysterical. He had a very dry and witty sense of humor and was incredibly funny. I was laughing the whole time. He was under appreciated by his audience and I think that may have been to the speakers not being the clearest but I just stood up and moved closer to them.

We never made it because Toronto was completely gridlocked from the Messi event. I called and was told by one of the operators that I would be able to use the tickets another time, so I wasn't worried. When I actually tried to rebook, nobody answered the phone. After calling over and over, I was forced to use their texting service. Suddenly, I was told my tickets couldn't be used, I couldn't get a refund, and they wouldn't offer any credit or compensation. Instead, they told me to contact travel insurance. I'm from Northern Ontario. Why would I buy travel insurance for a day trip within my own province? Keeping over $400 for tickets that were never used and refusing to work with a customer in any way is terrible business. The complete lack of communication, impossible customer service, and unwillingness to stand behind what your staff told me is unacceptable. I won't be booking with this company again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else does either.

The ship itself is impressive and the crew throw in lots of little touches like singing a sea shanty, firing a cannon, etc. At a little under two hours it felt like a good length of time. To start with, ignore the photo on the website of a nice white coach, we were met with a rusty, broken windowed black coach with tape over the engine warning light on the dash! Driver/Guides driving abilities left a lot to be desired, pushing the coach to it's limits at speeds of over 120km/h, whilst barely holding the steering wheel. Unscheduled stop at a Maple Syrup factory. Although it was mentioned on the website there would be a drive round some other sights, i didn't expect 2 hours stopping on road sides looking over barriers at the river below. This meant limited daylight time exploring the falls. We ended up leaving the tour at the top of the falls tour and walking back to the boat area whilst the group went off to the additional meal stop. We also paid for the behind the falls add-on but this didn't happen and when asked the driver/guide only said it wasn't on his passenger list. I am therefore requesting a refund but the company are not responding to contact. Then to top it off, the driver/guide put up a sign in the bus suggesting a tip of between 15 and 25% of your cost. Why would i tip a driver/guide £50 on top of the tour cost for doing his job!

Meanwhile a massive long line was forming for the public ferry on the return trip. The staff didn't collect my $13 payment until I exited the boat. I like that we didn't have to wait around for other passengers to fill up the boat. It was so convenient. They also run until 1am! Staffs were also very friendly.

From start to finish, this was an extremely professional and well-organized experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and kept everything moving smoothly throughout the day. One of the best parts is how convenient the pickup system is -- they have pickup locations near all the major hotels in Toronto, which makes the whole process incredibly easy for travelers. There are several add-on options for the tour, and I highly recommend three of them: 1. The boat ride into the falls 2. Journey Behind the Falls 3. The helicopter ride The helicopter ride especially is one of those "you only live once" experiences. If it's outside your budget, though, the boat ride and Behind the Falls are still more than enough to make for an amazing full day. One thing I'd personally skip is the tower stop. The views are fine, but honestly the tower in Toronto is much better. Now for the one major warning: the cancellation and rescheduling policy is brutal. Even if your flight is delayed or canceled and you provide proof, you are still out the full amount. No refund, no reschedule, no flexibility. We learned this the hard way after our flight got badly delayed. I contacted them hoping to move our booking to the next day and basically got told, "good luck and goodbye." That said... the story has a happy ending. We ended up sprinting through the airport, grabbing a taxi directly from the terminal to the pickup location, and arrived at 8:03 for an 8:00 AM pickup. I had been communicating with them during the chaos and they agreed to hold the bus for five minutes. We used three of those five minutes like it was the final scene of an action movie... but we made it. In the end, I absolutely recommend this tour. Just book carefully, maybe avoid scheduling it immediately after your arrival flight, or get travel insurance for peace of mind. If you plan ahead, you're going to have an incredible time with a professional, organized tour company at Niagara Falls.
