Ok so going on the walk in the winter is subject to many variables, such as ice and wind…read moreconditions. Thusly, my initial walk was rebooted from my birthday to a few days later, which happened to be one of the last of the season. The client services were proactive in their outreach and also contacted me on the day of the reschedule to confirm that it was a 'go.' So I finally did it, and it's really not for the faint at heart! If you want to overcome you fear of heights this is probably the closest to 'cold turkey' as you are going to get. The team from the orientation and sizing of the suits to the walk leader Stephen were to best in class. They are supportive and amiable, not to mention patient. They know your names, relative skill and fear level within 30 seconds more or less. They ensure your safety and comfort in a friendly and amicable manner. The views of T. At night are the most pectacular I've ever seen, and hanging several 100 feet off the ground was well worth the $195 plus tax. Don't forget you also get a ticket for the elevator and Skype, witha coffee or hot chocolate which we used right after. That alone is worth an additional $55. We also received a complimentary CN Tower toque. Thanks guys for a great start to 2022! -Zuk

I loved this experience so much that I could not find another experience to give me the same rush…read more This was my first time trying anything like this. I went up by myself while my guest waited below. I will say everything is VERY WELL EXPLAINED. You feel extremely safe and are secured by two harnesses. I love how to the tour guides take the time to learn everyone's names. While you're on the edge, the tour guides point out landmarks and explain some history. The guides pose you for individual and group photos. This was very exciting for me, but I wouldn't do it again just because I don't need to. If a friend was paying for my second trip I'd definitely do it though!

Pursuit OCR was super fun! The first time I went was when they first opened many years ago, back in…read morethe old location (smaller venue). This newer location was bigger, more spacious, and had more obstacles and areas such as dodgeball & volleyball arena and arcade games (which you can play after finished with going through the obstacle course). I really liked the diversity of all of the courses. For some of them, you can choose the 'easy' or 'hard' version. Once you finish going through all of the obstacles in the course (which took ~30-45 minutes), you can play dodgeball, volleyball, arcade games, giant Jenga, giant 4-In-A-Row, try scaling up one of the vertical walls, or go through any of the obstacles again. Staff were all super friendly and energetic, from the ones who greeted us at the front and helped us check in, to the ones who explained the rules once inside. Useful tips: - Sign the waiver online to save time when checking in. - Bring a lock or you can purchase one at the front desk for $4. - There is ample parking space in the parking lot right outside the building, and TTC bus stop is 2-8 minutes walk (depending on which bus # you take). - There is a vending machine where you can purchase drinks. - It's better to wear long pants or leggings instead of shorts because in some obstacles, there are 'slides' component and parts where the surface can rub hard against the skin (and pants also do a better job at protecting the knee when crawling).

@pursuitor is sooooo fun!!! You can have a good time regardless of how athletic you are!…read more I got invited to go the last minute showed up in my non-stretchy work pants- restricting my movements, but was able to get some self absorption photos and enjoy the kiddies facilities

Activate Toronto - Eglinton Town Centre - Band for signing into games

Activate Toronto - Eglinton Town Centre

Activate located at Eglinton Town Centre near Eglinton and Lebovic Ave is an indoor gaming facility…read morewhere players can move through interactive and immersive rooms to test their physical as well as mental skills. Activate is open daily and hours change depending on the day. Since Activate is located in a plaza, there is plenty of parking throughout. It is also accessible by the Eglinton LRT as well. I stopped by Activate for the first time recently with a party of 4 to enjoy some fun at the facility. We decided to go in the morning around 10am on a Saturday. It does get busier later in the day which can increase the time you'll need to wait for games as more people are in more rooms. Upon entering the facility, you pay for how many minutes of play you desire and collect your wristbands (one is a player wristband, the other is a locker wristband). If it is your first time there, there are stations where you can create a player ID and account. Before entering the play area, to the side there are some tables for you to rest. There is also a locker room with a bench as well as separate washrooms for females and males. There are water stations as well. It is best to wear comfortable shoes or running shoes as some rooms/games require you to move around quite a lot, which can work up a sweat. Games wise, the games are fast, which last only a few minutes, best played with a small group of players (2-5 people where 5 people is the maximum number of players). Each room also only allows one party to play at a time. Each room also has about 4-5 different games with different levels of difficulty. Before entering a room, a specific game is selected where everyone in the party scans their wristband by the door. This way, you can earn points or keep track of your high score for a certain game (getting a certain amount of points can allow you to redeem points). Once in the room, you can keep replaying the game as long as there is no other party waiting to play outside (if there is you'll have to exit the room as soon as possible). The games, all time-based, range from shooting hoops, dodging lasers, finding items, shooting targets, throwing balls, stepping on specific colours on a grid, the list can go on! The levels of difficulty within each game also vary making it more difficult to pass a certain level. There is definitely a game for everyone to enjoy. Within the games area, there is also a photo booth area where you can take photos with your party. Your photos are then digitally sent to your email as well. Overall, an interactive and immersive gaming facility where arcade-style games test your physical and mental skills! Activate is for all ages and is a fun activity to do in a small group. Definitely go in the morning if you want to avoid the crowds!

Great activity if you have a small group of friends. I came here multiple times sometimes just me and one other person or in a small group either one works. They also have a point system so you can win extra time or prizes like water bottle or a basketball. Whenever I come it's always a vibe. I will say on the weekend it is BUSYYYYY. You have to book, I would say to even book on a weekday to just in case. You can always do same day booking as well. It's $30 for 75 mins and I think an extra $12 for $30 or something like that. Make sure to come early to you have time to put your stuff away in the lockers ( they give you a locker and wristband to open it) and sign your waivers. Super fun and definitely worth it!
