    The rooms

My group of 4 did deep space and the Egyptian room, and we had a blast with these rooms. One of the employees told us that they will be fixing up some of the rooms which will be nice. All the rooms are handicap accessible.

This is a really cool escape room. It is immersive and you feel like you're on a space ship, or in a castle, or in a tomb, which I really enjoyed. My family and I put our heads together and made it out of all three experiences with time to spare. My favorite was the castle. There were two really cool things in there, which I don't spoil. I also liked the puzzles and thought they were unique. The space ship was my second favorite, because it was like you were really in a space ship and truthfully I wanted to stay in that part of it all day and just hang out, and press buttons, and avoid meteors and such.

Looks like a prison I was once in up in Maine. When I used to go by Andy Dufresne.

I'd prefer five witches. Or rather, Halloween 20somethings dressed as witches. Or barely dressed as witches. But this will have to do. I was honoured and privileged to be invited to the Yelp event here which was only the 3rd time I had been to one of these types of places. It's actually more enjoyable when you don't come with a very large group because it makes the challenges more challenging and gives everybody a good chance at participation. Employees are mostly really nice although a few of them do you have attitude problems. A couple of the guys who actually invented the rooms and are always leaving Easter eggs, as they call them, are a credit to the franchise and this location in particular.

    We kind of failed...haha!

I'll admit I was nervous to give this place a try. I've never done any escape room-type adventures, and they advertise it as something far more submersible than an escape room. But I was feeling adventurous and spontaneous before my visit, and I haven't seen a lot of activity around this shiny new place in the mall, so my friend and I decided to see what it was all about. I spoke with some of the team members beforehand, and I liked the way the one man described it - like you're the protagonist of a video game. 5 Wits throws you into the world in such an impressive way. My friend and I decided to check out Drago's Castle. They give you tokens you use to redeem one entry into the room, something I assume is more useful for when you purchase one of the two room/three room packages. It's a pretty good deal, by the way, if you want to do more than one room. Anyway. The door opens and a team member leads you to the back, where the real room entrances are. There was a bit of an introductory puzzle before we were allowed to "Enter the Castle," which in itself was pretty cool. There were three rooms, each presenting us with a number of challenges which needed to be completed and solved before we were allowed to move on. All the while the clock is ticking, and however fast we were able to complete the tasks ultimately influenced our score, and the story's ending. I'll admit that we were a bit slow to start, but the way it's set up, it's impossible to be 'stuck' in the rooms (there were also marked Exit doors in each of the rooms). Our 'wits' were really put to the test here, in a really cool and fun way! Teamwork is definitely something you will need at this place, and I highly suggest having more than two people on your team - my friend and I did pretty alright, but I think we would have benefited by having a third person with us, even a fourth. It was a fantastic way to get us to work together. Fantastic as a team-building exercise! The staff were all incredibly friendly, eager to talk to us about 5 Wits and were very encouraging. They're certainly part of the reason why I want to go back! I am incredibly curious about their other rooms, and I'm determined to improve our score of 76. There seem to be different endings as well, determined by how quickly and efficiently you were able to solve the puzzles? Makes for a great way to encourage people to come back multiple times, to try and improve the story. I will definitely be returning!

    VIP grand opening!

Imagine a digital escape room, that's 5 Wits. There are three theme rooms to choose from, where some of the puzzles change but I was told that the themes never will. There's a space room (enjoyed by all but especially with sci-fi fans), a dragon room (castle/medieval theme), and tomb (Indiana Jones). Each room takes about 25 minutes and you get a score for each room. Some rooms even have secrets that get you bonus points. Rooms accommodate 4-10 people, it would be difficult to complete some of the puzzles without at least 4 people. Kids- all the rooms are kid-friendly, but I suggest have at least one adult to help guide them through some of the challenges. Price: $20 for 1 room, $25 for 2 rooms, or $30 for all 3. Even though the rooms are interactive and take time to complete, the price is steep in my opinion, not sure if they offer a group discount but they do offer birthday parties. I've been to this location twice but not sure how many times I'll come back since the rooms won't change much. I would be willing to come back if it was with friends who had never been, or another location with different themes, but the price is too steep to come here regularly.

If you're looking for a fun activity that's different than your usual plans you have to check this out. They have 3 different adventure rooms where you solve puzzles and it's very interactive. It's like an escape room but a little more adventurous. I'd definitely recommend doing all three rooms

Very fun experience! My boys are teenagers and they had a great time. Puzzles were challenging but not too hard.

We had lots of fun this weekend trying all three of the 5 Wits interactive escape rooms. The rooms were fun and made the experience feel real. Most groups will complete the mission. The tasks and puzzles are not extremely difficult but, enough to not bore adults. We went as a group of 11 with 2 children (8 and 11 years old) Both of them enjoyed the experience. Our personal fave was Drago's Castle, so if you had to choose one I would recommend this experience. Prices: For $19.99 per person you can choose one of the three experiences. (Drago's Castle, Tomb and Deep Space). For $25.99 per person you can choose two of the three experiences. The best value is to pay $29.99 per person and experience them all. I would recommend buying all 3 experiences even if you may not have the time. You can always come back another day to complete the additional experiences. Each experience is about 30 mins long. Depending on how busy they are you may need to wait 15- mins to 30 mins additionally for each experience. Also, once you complete your experience make sure you check out your score!!

Wow is all I can say! Ok jk I can say more. 5 Wits does a great job of taking you out of your reality and into their fully immersive experiences. You can journey into space, a pharaohs tomb, or a medieval castle, all containing fun effects and challenging hands on puzzles. Each adventure takes about a half hour depending on how quickly you complete the tasks. It's fun to figure out the tasks together. They can take up to 12 people at a time, but I would say the best time is had with groups of 6-8. They have nice rooms to host birthday parties and other events. This was my first "escape room" type experience and I had a great time. I will definitely be back with friends.

The attention to detail is amazing!

Kids Adventure Park/Rock Wall & Trampoline…read more Did the fall sky ride last year and it was well organized and efficient, this years visit.......not so much. Most discombobulated event ever. One would have thought that this was a new feature and they were working out the bugs. Drove to the summit and parked then walked into the summit area with little if no signage indicating where to go. Stumbled into the Summit Bldg and it turned out to be the correct place to be. Checked in and was told the climbing gloveds were sold out (they did refund) and the kids had no problem with the Resort gloves. The reservation was for 12:30 and the 2 grandkids (5&7) had their harness attached along with 4 other kids and one adult and his older son who were doing the "big kids" courses. As we were standing around a guy came along, maybe to relieve the original girl who was taking some sort of gear out to one of the courses with the father and son. The guys asks what we were doing since we were all geared up and I stated that we were waiting for directions at which point he asked what were we signed up for (one would think just by the size of the kids in the gear it would be apparent what we were all waiting to do.) He gave me hand gesture directions, which were not very good and, again, there was poor signage, but after walking in the general direction of the "hand gesture" a woman coming up from the area gave me a clear indication of where we were to go. It is now 12:50 and the attendant was getting kids ready and asks "where are the trollys"? Having no clue what she is talking about out I said that what ever they were wearing was what they were given. She radioed up requesting 2 kids trollys be brought down. Tick tock, tick tock and after about 10 minutes of waiting for a delivery I walked up to the Summit Bldg where the same mass confusion was going on and I peaked behind the black curtains and asked the employee for 2 kids trollys (this was not the first time she had to radio up for kids trollys either). Finally the kids were able to do the courses. Once their time was up we went over to the rock wall/trampoline area and there are no employees there or within sight to ask about the procedure. Once again I walked up to the Summit Bldg asking if anyone was going to be watching the RockWall/Trampoline and they asked if I had gone by there (seriously?) I replied yes and there was nobody around. They said they would get someone so we walked to our car for water and a snack and by the time we got back the area was stocked with an employee who, by the way, was very nice and helpful. Given the state of the economy with discretionary spending tight one would think that Bristol Mtn would be chomping at the bit to provide the best service/experience possible......but it was not to be. The kids area was not crowded or busy and the chairlift rides seemed to be going without issues from what I saw up top. Hopefully Bristol Mtn will get their act together but either way we will not be returning.

She's usually very shy. Very safe and exciting experience. The last platform was pretty scary because you have to step off and go straight down. Wet and foggy day only added to the experience.

But the NF Adventure Park is an underrated and largely unheralded fun park right near the heart of the Falls, within spitting distance of the Falls themselves (if you are a spitter). They have zip-lines which are thrilling, and have an amazing view of the mist and the whole area, and after what is inevitably a long wait, you will get to do as much as you like, as many times as you like, and it's a hell of a lot of fun. It was probably the most fun that my German family members had on their trip to WNY, while the older folk enjoyed the Falls, the kids thought this was unforgettable and are already talking about going again when we come back. I'd like to take some of my Buffalo friends here because none of them seem to have heard of it. It's slightly pricey, but I suppose everything is these days.

I went here with my sister using the Groupon deal. I would recommend calling ahead for the time…read moreslots since they do things in shifts to ensure everyone is trained properly and that the equipment doesn't get too crowded. We had to wait 45 minutes for the next slot (no big deal). We came back and were promptly helped. The staff puts you in the harnesses and trains you on the equipment. Then you are free to climb on the equipment. There are two course levels to help decrease overcrowding. We went on a Thursday night and there were maybe 10 people (mostly kids) doing zip lines and 5 people (all adults) doing the ropes course. The staff there is absolutely fabulous. They were always keeping an eye on people for safety but never call out to you, rush you or pressure you in any way. You are truly free to roam around the course and to take as much time as you need. Simply be courteous to others on their course. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful. Safety is their #1 priority. The equipment was clean and set up across steel beams and you are roped in twice to each safety line (which I also used as a cheat line across some obstacles.) I would highly recommend this place and look forward to going back and trying the third level next time I'm home. You don't need to be in great shape, just be aware of safety measures, be kind and you'll have a great time (unless you are afraid of heights). A couple things to keep in mind: the lot right in front of them is free if you are visiting them. You have to weigh 265lbs or less to use the courses. Their prices are really reasonable. Looks like it's three zips for $10 and an hour on the ropes course is $18 but check their site for the most updated pricing.
