I am always impressed by the caliber of the work on display, regardless of whether it's the work of professionals or young children who have taken classes at the center or work from area schools in coordination with their art teachers. Workshop participants created a paper plate "succulent" to take home. Although the workshop required pre-registration, it was free. Many parents worked along side their young children,?while teenagers clustered together. The presenter's own sculptures reminded me of Dr Seuss drawings come to life. It was evident that a fun time was had by all.

The exhibits were nicely organized and flowed well. The Richmond Art Center seems well-maintained overall and they did an excellent job with the opening reception, including the yummy food and drinks in the courtyard. I just wish they had more seating during events. While making my way around, I saw artwork from local students as well and the classrooms in the back which was cool. If you're an East Bay local, I highly recommend stopping by the Richmond Art Center at some point or checking out their class offerings.

That came off like an Army commercial or something haha. If you live in west contra Costa then you should attend here if you're not going straight to a 4 year school right after high school. Use this college as a great resource. Middle college (high school) is also offered here. It's recently gone through some renovations: new library and new student services building. It's a small campus but it has a great vibe to it. There are plenty of businesses around the area to get something to eat and Hilltop mall isn't far away. It's right off the freeway and convenient. To advance your career, education or trying to get certified then take a class here. Like reading rainbow ..."Don't take my word for it!"

But the counselors are godawful. Many people I know who have attended CCC/are currently attending CCC have stories of how their counselors have screwed them over. They either withhold or just don't know really important information about things like requirements for graduation. They seem clueless and don't know how to help you. My very first semester I spoke with a counselor about picking classes for my schedule, as I didn't know the requirements for graduation, and she ended up giving me classes that had no correlation with my goals. It took me a year to figure out on my own that my first semester had been wasted on classes I did not need. Other students have similar experiences. These counselors do NOT know how to help you and they will misguide and lead you in the wrong direction. If you want to be successful at CCC, you're on your own.

She manages to make time for everyone, has a sense of humor and endless patience. There were times where I just couldn't express my thoughts in clear way, not knowing any sewing jargon, and she graciously did her best to understand. Horrible service. I would never trust this company again with my child…read more I paid $200 toward a $475 agreement with Four Seasons for my daughter's behind-the-wheel driving instruction. During one of the lessons, the instructor took my minor daughter to his personal home for a "water bottle fill-up" and restroom break without my knowledge or consent. There was absolutely no reason my child should have been taken to a private residence during paid instructional time. When I confronted him, instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, he became defensive and tried to justify it by claiming public locations were "unsafe." I later reviewed DMV guidelines, which clearly state instructors are not supposed to use lesson time for personal errands and that restroom breaks should occur at public locations. After losing trust in this instructor, I requested my daughter's certificate for the 2 hours already completed so we could continue with another school. He ignored my messages while clearly reading them, and only responded after I pointed out that the messages had been seen. He claimed he needed to "review his records" before sending the certificate, yet days later I still have no certificate and no resolution. I have proof, including location data and photos my daughter sent confirming she was taken to his home. I will be filing a formal complaint with the DMV and pursuing reimbursement through small claims court if necessary for services that were paid for but not properly fulfilled. Parents should seriously reconsider using this service.
