A miracle happened in this cemetery. I was here doing some…read moregenealogy research and and I totally stumbled upon my lost great great grandparents grave. Freeking Shit. Yes! I could not believe it. This was a total surprise and unexpected breakthrough. Here are some pointers about this cemetery. Blossom Hill Cemetery and Calvary Cemetery are the same. They are connected. Blossom Hill is Methodist and Calvary is Catholic. Christa McAulliffe is buried here. (Calvary) The sexton here assisted me in locating a grave. He opened up his file cards and pointed me in the right direction. The grounds here are just beautiful and they have a little pond and offer "perpetual care".

We were preparing to say goodbye to a family member and had no idea what to do or what was next. I had no idea what her day looked like, but the day I called her she was there within hours ready to guide us, preparing us for steps A-Z. It was just a day or two after our first meeting she was asked to return to take the next steps, our family member had passed. Within hours of the call Katie returned, handled our loved one with respect and dignity. I would say after that Katie and Matt really shined; Obituary had to be written, death certificates had to be ordered, cremation had to be done and urn had to be ordered. My family met with Katie and Matt at Still Oaks to complete the set up for the wake, the building was perfect, the flowers as they came in were set up with such pride, you could see the love they had for their jobs. After my family left, I had a more personal meeting with Katie to order several pendents with the finger prints on them so that those she loved most could always hold her hand. Highly recommend this to keep your loved ones close. The few days of saying goodbye and the celebration were all done, it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but with Katie and Matt there, I was able to cherish the moments with our family. I was able to grieve and say goodbye in my own way. Without the stress of what is next. Since then Katie and Matt have both checked in on me several times, and even gave their recommendation on were to get the perfect stone. I also have recommended them to help another family as they were also saying goodbye. My family member that had passed had gone to services there before and somehow we talked about Still Oaks while driving by one day a year or so ago. It was a very difficult time and the staff at Phaneuf were kind, courteous and compassionate. We primarily worked with Aaron and Mark and I can't speak highly enough of them. Again, the compassion they showed to me and my family throughout was more than I imagined. And exceedingly genuine. Their communication was exceptional, guiding us through the process with care. From start to finish, I couldn't have asked for a better service. Sue took what little information we gave her and she wrote an absolutely beautiful obituary, like she knew him from birth. Any request we brought up, she made come true. She made the display so beautiful, making sure she captured everything my son loved. We are looking into pre-planning final arrangements for a family member and one of the family…read moresuggested this location. We made an appointment to go over numbers. The State requires each funeral home list their prices publicly, but it's always nice to see the facility and meet the people. The person we met with was very pleasant and professional. We were not given an opportunity to see caskets to 'pick' one, but a quote was worked up using a price range. The facility offers a package for services such as prayer cards, memorial book and such for an additional fee. We were also told if the funeral service is at the funeral home, there is a one hour viewing available before the service at no additional fee, vs. just the viewing, which has it's own fee structure. It's all broken down: preparation, casket, viewing, transport, graveside and so on. There's a lot to know about funerals and I do recommend you pre-plan so you know what to expect. In the end we did not choose Carrier for a couple of reasons. The first is it felt as if we had to pull information out of the person assisting us. For example, we now know the State of NH requires some kind of grave liner. During our discussions it sounded as if a liner was a 'negotiable' item that could be eliminated to save money. It is not. The second is they don't use a 'trust' to hold the money you pre-pay, they sell you an insurance policy for the amount you put down and then each time you add money they add an insurance rider to that policy. Some of the staff here are also insurance brokers. We weren't comfortable with this business practice. Funeral arrangements are much better made with a clear mind instead of during the chaos of grief and loss. I cannot recommend enough that everyone at the very least know what the expenses are and make an effort to have a plan in place to ease that most difficult of life experiences for their loved ones.

My brother dropped off his Military attire to the funeral...He did not want an open casket but Carrier arranged a private setting for me and my brother...They are so professional and caring... on the day of his burial...Carrier had set up a military funeral, I can proudly say he went to heaven with dignity and respect...I thank you Carrier Family so much for the care and honor that you and your staff provided for me and my family.
