Very bad business practice. Receptionist called me, after I was referred for an appointment. She said that they don't take new patients. Yet, multiple site say he does. As with other posts here, it seems he says that when he doesn't like the insurance a person has. Very unethical, if he's listed in a network and then denies service, thus wasting patient's time requesting another referral. read more

I been Dr. Ngon Dinh before since last year! He checked on my ears for rest of my life!

I was refused treatment due to vaccine status. This doctor discriminates. They said that they are a private practice that's why they can require this. They didn't ask if the reason for no vaccine is because of medical reason. Unbelievable. read more

I was referred to Dr. Ngon by my primary doctor and was approved to see the doctor by my insurance company since they were a listed provider. I contacted the office today to try to set an appointment and the receptionist who answered the phone could barely speak English and was very rude and unprofessional. I explained why I was contacting them, so she asked who my insurance provider was, so I told her. She literally laughed when I told her, and told me that they don't accept my insurance carrier and never will. I told her then why did my primary doctor and insurance company send me to them if they they are not on the list. I told her they had to have been a part of the network before, because I don't think they put random doctors on a list. She told me no they never have been associated with that network and hung up on me. I have never met or seen this doctor, but if they are a reflection of this staff member, I would look for another doctor. read more

Making an appointment over the phone took less then 3 minutes. The front staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially when I was filling out my patient information. Dr. Ngoc Dinh himself was a very nice and easy to talk to. Not only that, but he dealt with my problem very quickly and made conversation with me the whole time. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Ngoc Dinh for any service that he provides. 10/10 experience read more

Dr. Dinh was very professional. I came in to get my ear nose throat exam since I've lost my sense and taste from Covid back in 2020. Him and his staff made sure I was taken care of and followed up with me every step of the way even though he couldn't treated me but referred me to another Dr. who can. Thank you for your caring wishes and professionalism. read more

Dr. Ngon Dinh is a very excellent ENT. I have been to several other ENT's for my conditions. None of them were able to diagnose me. Dr. Dinh was the only doctor that has been able to give me an accurate diagnosis. I feel like he truly cares and enjoys his profession. My mind has been put to ease. I also like the fact that he took his time to answer my questions. I have never felt rushed at my appointments. He has a great sense of humor and makes me feel very comfortable. It is also nice that he has a very efficient staff. Hue always returns my calls and follows up with my concerns. I would highly recommend this office to all my family and friends. read more

I was referred by my family doctor to ENT Dr. Ngon due to my snore 4+ years ago. After initial check up, Dr. Ngon recommended me to have a nose surgery to correct my nasal tube. I was scheduled to have a surgery at the hospital but couple days before, my cousin called me after hearing about my scheduled surgery and told me not have this procedure done by Dr. Ngon because her son had a ear surgery there and the doctor operated on her son's wrong ear (good ear). Thus, I immediately canceled the surgery. After that, I also heard few more bad experiences/stories from different people so I felt relieved that I made a right decision. Last year, I moved to different family doctor and he referred me to do a sleep study due to my snore's concern. It turned out that I have sleep apnea and it had nothing to do with my nose as diagnosed by Dr. Ngon read more

DO NOT ever go to this doctor even if your doctor refer to him. Request a different one. Both my parent go to this doctor and scammed many times. My mom does not want an operation and yet he made one anyway and called her on the day before operation to tell her to prepare for it. He keep harassing my mom by calling her repeatedly to convince her to go back for monthly check up. My mom has to fake being out of the country to avoid his call. He sold my dad Lipo-Flavonoid pills for $40 which he claim nobody else has it. I checked Walmart and Target it's over counter drug for $18. Doctors aren't even allow to sell personal pill to patients. This doctor break the law for profit. I would gladly sue this doctor if we had enough evidence for the case. read more

Dr. Dinh was probably the worst doctor I've been to. He lacked altruism and showed no efforts to even care for my well being. I've been to his office 3 or 4 times, and I've given myself so many chances to see the light in him, but quite frankly I still question why he became a doctor in the first place. My first visit was the worst of all because I was placed into an empty room without the comfort of anyone for over an hour, but I understand he's really busy with other patients and was probably stressed out, so I was sympathetic for him only for that reason. However, it wasn't okay for him to place me in a room without reassurance. I also left the office that day feeling extremely unsatisfied of Dr. Dinh's examination. It seemed as if he did a "wax on, wax off" kind of job, and to me that is completely ridiculous. I noticed he also wasn't listening fully to my concerns, but being forgiving as I am I decided to give myself more chances to see the light in him. My following 2 or 3 visits, the problems as I described above repeated, and I was so upset I wanted to walk out and never come back. Personally, I hate waiting, but since I had free time I was okay with 45-1 hour waiting time, even though I made prior appointments. Concerning his practice, he failed to understand my concerns of my deafness. When I told him how I was deaf for the last 10 years, he was more caring towards what he was writing on his computer over listening to me. Perhaps, that was his way of taking notes while I'm talking, but even when he's not writing on his computer he showed no effort to even begin to understand my problems. In fact, out of my 3 or 4 visits, he never even required that I get an MRI/Xray (I don't know the technical term) of my inner ear. He simply said I could have an infection in of the bones and gave me ammoxcillin. And when it came to cleaning out my ears, he said he had a no tolerance for earwax, but when I came home I could still pick my earwax... Moreover, this procedure was done so hasty that I felt as if Medical was robbed for this service. Tomorrow was supposed to be my appointment, but I called in today to cancel it. It took me awhile to realize that Dr. Dinh isn't going to be helpful. Like the reviews below said, even if you're referred to Dr Dinh, DO NOT ever get a consultation. 0/5 stars. Worst service, and non-altruistic doctor; highly not recommended. read more

I went to his office about 5 times, and each time went absolutely wonderful. Everything went quickly and smoothly. Appointments here are regularly true to the time appointed. I was referred to Dr. Dinh from my old ENT doctor. Came in to see Dr. Dinh for some ear issues that I was experiencing. Him and his staff are very nice and friendly. He was able to diagnose my symptoms and had me take medication to see if it corrected my issues. I came back a few more times but was still having the same issues, so he suggested that I have surgery. He performed my surgery and things have gotten better. I can hear much better now =) I go back to see him every other month, so that he can check in with me to see how my progress is. Dr. Dinh is very knowledgeable, easy going and really cares about your health. read more

Dr. Ngon prescribed medicine for my mom who is over 100 year old, she had a serious side effect. I called and left a voice message, he did not answer, second call, the conversation was put on hold and hung up, the third call, the office told me I had signed a form saying there were no known allergies nor side effects to medicine she has taken before, he prescribed my mom a new medicine and is now trying to say it was my fault for the serious side effects I observed. Finally Dr. Ngon on the phone told me to stop medicine and take her to ER. if need it. read more

Dr Dinh was very helpful and understanding of my circumstances. I think the thing that really drawled me towards him was how he not only wanted to be your doctor but as your friend as well. My son had seen him over 2 years and he is most 7 year old now. Every time come to Dr. Ngo office either allergy pill or antibiotic medicine. Being seen him for two years, finally he scheduled to remove adenoids in Jan. 2016. One week after surgery we came back for check up, he said verything look good. Two weeks later, I gave him a call and let him know son still have stuff nose badly. Dr. Ngo gave my son singular and prednisone medicine. I feel very guilty when I have to give him very day. But I have no choice. We saw new ENT doctor few weeks ago. After checking my son's nose, ENT doctor said "the adenoids is still there". My son has to have a surgery again. So what did Dr. Ngo remove? I asked the new ENT doctor for any medicine to help him during waiting next surgery. He explained and didn't give any medicine. The medicine help for nasal inflamed and sinus. My son can't breath because of adenoid and block the airway cause stuff nose and medicine can't help. Scaring that how much medicine my son had been took by Dr. Ngo for two years. I am not recommend everyone to see him because of un-trust level and he didn't explain things well. I have to do research to have questions for him and it seem he's not happy if you ask too many question. Bottom line: Un-trust, wait time, not so ever recommend friends. read more

Dr Pham recommended me to see Dr Dinh before he left out of state many years ago. Whenever I checked in at Dr Dinh's office, they are always nice and cordial. I do some preliminary work on my ears before I see the doctor. They do a great job cleaning my ears in just a matter of minutes. I'm definitely satisfied with their work. I recommend my family and friends to make an appointment with him for ENT issues. read more

I was extremely satisfied with my ear operation. Doctor Dinh made everything simple and easy. He was extremely friendly and gave me important advice for my ear. He prescribed meds and referred me to the hearing test when I needed it. Compared to my other ear doctor who has also done my ear operation 2 years ago, Doctor Dinh is exponentially better, he found out what was wrong with my ear, scheduled for an appt for the operation as soon as possible. Whereas my other doctor had me wait almost 6 months from telling me I needed to do this and that. I do not know why other reviews are so bad, but I believe that since it was such a long time ago, it was probably because the office was still new and everything still needed to fall in place. Now, I dont see any problems with this place, definitely recommend people to come here. read more

I've been looking for an ENT specialist on Yelp. One Dr. I called moved out of state & referred me to Dr. Dinh. I called all the ENT specialists in the East Bay as they're closer to me & no one could see me today. I called around the San Jose area & same situation, plus seeing that I don't have insurance, the consultations ranged from $100 - $300. I've been having bad allergies/sinuses. My hearing's been a little muffled due to ear pain & I just wanted to make sure I wasn't dying/had cancer, LOL. When I called to request a quote over the phone, the gentlemen was very polite & told me it was just a flat fee of $100 which would include the consult, medication, & ear drainage if needed. They were able to see me within 4 hours. The location is in a huge medical center. The staff was very nice & the paperwork was quick & painless. Dr. Dinh listened to every issue that I had & after taking a look at my ears, nose, and throat, he concluded that I wasn't dying nor do I have cancer. PHEW! He gave me some eye drops, prescribed Claritin for my allergies, told me what was up with my nose (which apparently is the culprit), even suggested some vitamin supplements. We cracked some jokes & got to know each other in the short amount of time that I was there. I'll be back in two weeks for a follow-up. He said if things don't get better by then, I could take a hearing test. "No need to give you the run around now if it's not necessary". I dig it! read more

I don't recommend this doctor, I paid for the procedure to clean wax in my ear and check up my ear, he did the checking up but didn't clean my ear wax and refused to return the money for that procedure. The woman at front desk said what I paid for is just the examination, but at first they said it's for two operations. After that, do you think that you can trust him and his office? read more
