We found Dixie Construction via a Nextdoor & Facebook post. The photos of their work were impressive so we contacted Avery; he responded promptly and met with us the next day. We also spoke with a large company and while their quote was fair, we had a gut feeling about Avery and liked that we would be dealing directly with him as the owner. We felt his pricing was fair and reasonable and his quote was very detailed. He and his team showed up when they said they would and did an incredible job, so much so that we added additional work. They were attentive to detail, made helpful suggestions without upselling anything unnecessary and were responsive and reliable. We are very happy with the work that was done efficiently and timely. Avery and his team were pleasant to deal with and immediately handled any concerns. Very highly recommend and we would definitely use again.

I contacted a number of landscapers, met with several and requested proposals from 3 of them. RScapes was by far the most responsive and engaged in coming up with a specific plan and working out all the details to make it happen within our available funding and in a quick timeframe. While I was initially concerned by the lack of other reviews available, I felt more comfortable as I talked with Vaughn and Trevor and they provided feedback on the design. When Trevor and his helper came to do the job a week later, I and our other HOA members who worked on the project were extremely impressed by their cooperative attitude, strong work ethic and design sense in arranging the plants that they had selected for our various planting beds. They also helped us save some of the plants they dug up for us to re-use in another area that had no landscaping, and trimmed them back so that their shallow roots would have a better chance of supporting them in their new location. If I had another landscaping project to do, I would definitely hire RScapes again, and I will recommend them without reservations to others in need of the such work.

He also gave us fair pricing and was very thorough. While there, we asked about our stairs and our deck. He quickly provided is a detailed and professional quote by the afternoon. There were two different crews who did the fence and the stairs. Both crews were professional and did a great job on the fence and stairs but also did a great job cleaning up. If you did not know, you would not have been able to tell they had been there except for the quality craftsmanship. While they were working on the stairs, I asked about replacing the railings on the deck. Within 45 minutes, not only did they have an estimate for the railings, they had the lumber delivered and were already working on it. These guys do great work and for any exterior projects, I will be using these guys. My neighbors installed a fence next door with a different crew and it is obvious our fence looks much better and the quality of work is exceptional. Highly recommend these guys.

Miles was great to work with in person and via telephone & text. I have high expectations for anyone I work with! Communication is a big deal for me and Miles met those expectations!! Very responsive!! Thank you Miles. I felt comfortable with Miles in our home and I had confidence in him. Their pricing was very competitive a bit less than the other two contractors. After placing a deposit we scheduled a dates and times. Everything went very smooth. This was a three day project. Day two was painting only. Juan Hernandez leader of the three man paint crew was very nice. They were a great team to work with. We had a two person crew on day one and day three with Dayann as the lead he was great, also a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend making Stairworx your go to company! Everyone who enters our home comments on the beautiful stairs, right before they say they need to…read moreget theirs done! I recommend no one else besides Stairworx. In every regard, they are ideal. There is no reason to go anywhere else. We have a large spiraling grand staircase in our entranceway. 133 balusters. The balusters we had before were 15 years old, white, and scuffed and worn (the previous owners had two young children). We wanted something durable, easy to maintain, and elegant. They are exactly that! The transformation is remarkable. We had the wood floors redone and stained a dark cherry when we first moved in 12 months ago, so with this and the iron balusters, it looks like an entirely different entranceway! We found Stairworx online doing a Google search, and are very lucky we did! David was great to deal with. Prompt, professional, and descriptive. It's rare to find someone who is so on top of things, who simply gets the job done, and so efficiently it seems with ease. I've dealt with a lot of contractors, businesses, sub contractors, etc., and I genuinely wish everyone was like David. It would make my life much more enjoyable! (By the way, Home Depot is a nightmare to deal with on contracting jobs.) David was able to understand what I wanted right away, even though I had no expertise on the subject and had never done this before. And then he carried through exactly the way he said he would, and in our tight time frame too! The two men who came to install the balusters were polite, professional, knowledgable, and clean. They wore covers on their shoes, and put tarps down over the floor, and before they left they swept up (even though it was basically spotless already). They communicated clearly, and made sure they were installing exactly what I wanted before they began. It took an afternoon to install, and the result was absolutely stunning! I am so happy with our stairs, and I hope you read this and soon feel the same way with yours!
