Eric was very responsive from the get go. He was thorough in explaining the process and what was needed to complete the job...and then some! Eric's communication was awesome from the first time I reached out. He was professional, friendly, and professional. He let me know the morning of when he was on his way and progress getting here (his commute was 90 minutes away). I got a quote for material and he offered to call and get a better price and then I called in to pay for it. What a kind gesture! He and his crew were timely and efficient. Eric explained the process and showed us what he was going to do. When he ran out of material, he got more and when he charged us for the material and trip, he didn't price gouge. He showed us the receipt for the additional materials and that is what we paid. We couldn't be more happy with job and Eric's professionalism. Wade came and gave us the most comprehensive and detailed bid out of all the contractors, included several features we hadn't even thought of and gave us a very competitive price, especially with some additional elements he recommended (retaining walls and drainage. Wade uses a small and trusted crew and we had no issues with any of his crew. We ended us adding several additional features and Wade worked with us on how to integrate them and he gave very transparent quotes on the additional work we requested. He was also very open to feedback on small details we wanted adjusted or altered and did so without extra charges - he was very clear in his goal that we be happy with his work and also it was clear to us he took a significant amount of pride in his work. In the end, we turned the project into a major one and it has turned out magnificent. We plan to use Wade again to do another patio/play area in our backyard and we would highly recommend him.

These young men presented themselves as legitimate…read morewith collared, embroidered shirts sporting their name and logo AT THE TIME was SOUTHERN STONE MASONS! Went on and on about how they learned from their grandfather, etc. We talked about how to fix the iron railing on our front porch and how to re-attach it to the concrete. We even watched a YOUTUBE about the proper way to fix it and they agreed that was correct. I gave them a deposit to get it done. Two days later, I was out of town when they texted it was done, so my neighbor went over and took a picture of it. Picture wasn't clear but neighbor said it looked OK to her. I finished paying the youngsters. Once I was home, I discovered they ONLY used clear CAULK with a plastic "foot" at the bottom of each connection! Not ONE screw! Not ONE bolt! NO METAL FASTENERS AT ALL! I had to find another stone mason who wrote out a statement that this was NOT the way to fix this problem according to industry standards!
