Yard is in worse shape after using them. They skimp on service and you will always find weeds along the edges and far corners. If you have issues and contact them they will offer you additional service to upcharge you. Looks for better service read more

Bennett Landscape, Thank you for the crafty response. I had a phone conversation with a woman at BLI, agreeing that we would stop when the job appeared to exceed $500. I learned a lesson from that one. That one is on me. The other contractor had the same intel about the job site that BLI had. They were not given any of the information that Bennett provided me, because I was skeptical that BLI knew what the actual problem was; I wanted an experienced professional to diagnose properly and un-biased. They did all the troubleshooting BLI did, plus the repairs that BLI did not, for $1100 or $1200...I cant remember the cost. BLI wanted to charge us an additional, estimated $1800 for the repairs on top of the $800 BLI had already charged us. In the business world, this type of practice is frowned upon. It's just sloppy and sneaky. Its a testament to Bennett Landscape's intentions when nobody is looking. "New water line needs to be run from water meter to first valve to get water to irrigation system." This is not the fix. This is why BLI was not the correct choice for us; they did not diagnose the problem correctly and intended to perform work on our property that did not need to be done. BLI essentially made up problems with the system. Our other contractor replaced 3 valves and a broken pipe. He upgraded our old controller and rain sensor which we had been wanting to do for some time. It fixed the issue and the system has been running flawlessly since. Bennett Landscape INC misdiagnosed our issue at our subdivision and intended to perform unnecessary repairs to take advantage and extort money from us. That is a fact. read more

I've been working with these guys for the past couple of months now. As a new homeowner in Dawson County, I've asked them to provide regular lawn service, replace a few plants killed during the winter cold snap, and perform other things as necessary. I think they are a tad more expensive than others but I'm getting the value I would expect to pay for. They will be doing a larger project for me next month so I will continue to monitor. I like their hands-on approach, from the yard guys to the office manager, I feel that if I'm talking to one, I'm talking to all of them. Overall, I'm very pleased. read more

I will also post pictures before BLI destroyed my yard and several after photos of my problem which I tried to resolve with Mason the owners son / supervisor with 20 years of experience in his mid 20s. and seems to admit having the same issues with other consumers that are unresolved. Love Bennett Landscape!! I have been very pleased with their variety of services. Their technician comes out throughout the year for my tree & shrub and seasonal lawn treatments. My lawn is the best it's ever looked!! My property was also voted lawn of the month in my sub division . They don't only do landscaping, their crew has done a great job in the past, replacing my backyard split rail fence and gate, corrected the drainage around my home stopping water from coming into my basement, and installed a beautiful flagstone path along side my home. They are prompt in coming out and give estimates on work that needs to be done. I have been very happy with the professional office staff and landscape crews. I started my service with Bennett Landscape just after terminating service with another lawn treatment service. I timed the change of service so no treatments would be missed. 3 months later and after Bennett had applied 2 treatments, I had at least three times the weeds. they claimed that pre-emergence and post emergence had been applied in October and again in December. The lawn looks as though no pre-emergence or post-emergence has been applied. Their response was that I should give them a year before I see any results. Based on the results so far I would not have any grass left in 9 more months. They also have a standard marketing practice of sending you a quote for additional services and claiming that you requested the quote when you haven't. I have had lawn services for the last 20+ years, this is by far the worst I have had. read more

I've used Bennett Landscape on and off for a few years and they are fine for basic lawn care. I decided to have sod put down in my backyard and have had nothing but problems. They laid fescue sod in late May and within 10 days the sod was almost completely dead. I tried to work out a compromise with them but they won't even consider it. They said, "you paid us to install sod not to maintain it. You either over watered or under watered but either way it is not our problem." I have spoken with numerous other landscape companies and "experts" and all agree that fescue was a poor choice for Atlanta climate. I believe they had a large job using fescue and for convenience and profit chose to install the wrong sod for my situation. Bennett Landscape may be adequate for basic lawn care but nothing more. They have shown their core values when their response to the first complaint I have had in 4 years is to tell me I am out of luck. They even threaten to put a lien on my property if I do not pay in full immediately. This is not a company I would recommend working with. There are plenty of companies that will stand by their service so it is not worth taking a chance on a company like this. read more

I had several companies come out and give me a quote on building a retaining wall in my backyard. Joseph came to my home to quote the job. He was on time, professional and easy to work with. After I decided I was going to use Bennett Landscaping, they performed quality work, on time and those guys were working hard out there! My 20 month old especially loved watching them. Watch out for the bait and switch routine on irrigation work. not only did they miss half the work which needed to be done, they quoted me 3X what the work should have cost and then had the nerve to assess a $95 'consultation' fee. if they had done the work, I am sure more charges would have been assessed since they had no idea as to the complete scope of work. if they do your lawn DO NOT USE THEM FOR IRRIGATION. read more

Our backyard needed full tree planting, Crpto and other trees, 28 in all. Arrived as promised, works diligently to fine tune placement plan, and installed all as requested. Trees from good nursery and work all completed in about 4 hours, good crew, good cleanup and followup with instructions on care. Definately use Bennett again.
