I've been to other events/parties with catered tacos from other places and most of the time there's not a lot of flavor to the food. The service was quick and friendly, they had a sign with which types of meat they had available and asked how many tacos each person wanted as they went through the line. They also had the option to make a quesadilla as well. The meat was cooked fresh and had a lot of flavor. They also had beans, rice, some mixed veggies, and a salsa bar available. The veggies were also cooked really well with great flavor too! The rice wasn't dry and salsa was tasty. The staff was friendly and the cooking station and salsa bar was clean. If you're looking for someone to cater and cook tacos for an event or party, would definitely recommend them!

I got his package that came with 4 meats, rice, beans and quesadillas and it was all so delicious I couldn't go wrong with what ever I ordered. All my friends and family enjoyed it as well! He was amazing to work with and very diligent. I will definitely have him again for my next event. Thank you so much Roberto for everything !

I was told this was the best taco place in San Jose so I dropped by on a Thursday night. It was…read morepretty slow since it was late at night. It's a non-descript taco truck with no signage and no menu, they just tell you what meats they have and you pick tacos or quesadillas. I ordered pastor, pollo, and cabeza. Pollo and pastor was pretty dry, cabeza was good. I had a bite of the brisket too and that was good. Overall I thought it was ok coming from LA. Maybe they just had a bad night--I would come back and do the pastor again because of the pineapple slices, but it wouldn't be my first pick. Also no radish and it's cash only, they take Venmo

Came across a TikTok video mentioning that Taco El Primo had one of the best Al Pastor tacos around…read moreand knew I had to try and see if that was true. My partner ordered the Carne Asada Tacos and I ordered the Al Pastor Tacos. The wait was about 30 minutes and it was cash only. There is no menu in regard to what items can be ordered but only a sign with the meat options. Average: * Carne Asada Tacos were okay. It's your typical Carne Asada but in my opinion, I found the meat to be a bit too dry for my liking. * Al Pastor Tacos were okay. I enjoyed the sliced of pineapple on the tacos but the meat wasn't as juicy and tender as people make it out to be. Maybe I was unlucky to receive more of the burnt end pieces so it was dry. Hits: * Grilled Onions as a topping added on the tacos is a definite must. Although it is just a topping ingredient, I do believe it makes the taco overall taste better and more enjoyable. Final Verdict: Solid 3/5. I enjoyed the grilled onions and cilantro on my tacos that are provided with the Al Pastor. The green sauce tastes pretty decent with the tacos too but it was a bit underwhelming, I think TikTok hyped it up too much but overall it is an okay spot.

The meat ones are different. Chili chopped up and mixed in. Best tamales I ever had. Bought 2 then went back the next day and bought 14 to give away. 3$ each Shockingly good. Had many tamales before this. Nothing even close. In the same gas station as the 10$ car wash. She doesn't speak english. Zero english words. Use google translate to learn some rudimentary sentences before going. 5 types of tamales 1) red with beef. 2) red with chile and cheese, different spiciness than green. Smoother chili flavor. Tastes like homemade chili powder ground from dried chile. 3) red with chicken, different than green with chicken. Have to taste them one after another to distinguish. The red chili spicy flavor is very different from the green chili flavor. The green is captures the sourness of tomatillo. The red has a earthy flavor from freshly ground chili powder from a mix of dried chiles. 4) green with chile and cheese. Spicy on tongue, with slightly sour acidic background. Tomatillo sour blends well with cheese. Contrasting spicy and creamy flavor. 5) green with chicken, has slightly sour taste compared to red. Hand shredded chicken breast. All served warm from cooler. She is there before noon with 2 other older people. By 2pm she is sold out and gone. Best tamales I ever had. Melt in mouth. Like brisket; has to be served freshly steamed and kept warm. If allowed to cool it isn't the same after. Microwave after not the same. Have to eat them fresh and still warm from steamer. Better than any restaurant. One key i sthey are wrapped and served warm; not reheated.
