The Autumn Orchard Matcha was amazing. It had: BLACK SCOTTY APPLE CIDER SYRUP, PEAR SYRUP, TOPPED WITH CINNAMON and you can get it hot or iced! I got it iced and I bet it tastes just as amazing hot. The food looked amazing an it had some substance to it! Usually coffee shops offer small things that are snackable but this shop had amazing hearty options. They also had their roastery in the cafe and it was nice to see. Comfy chairs, different types of seating, fun coffee and eccentric decor. It is so cute and vibey in here! The barista was friendly and helped us decide on our drinks. They have a creative room that looked super convenient as a meeting space. There was lots of space for seating at tables or couches/comfy chairs, plus a good amount of natural lighting. Our drinks (piña colada matcha and honey lavender latte) were good, but the seasonal menu is definitely geared more towards people who like flavor syrups and milk just as much as coffee or matcha and I wish that we had realized that before ordering. They also have cold brew and nitro cold brews, which I would assume would be better for people who prefer things that actually taste like coffee! Overall, I would definitely come back for coffee with friends or to work because the atmosphere was so great, but I would probably try a different menu item! read more

Very quaint spot! If I were local, I'd definitely come back to work or study and try more drinks. It has that familiar new-wave coffee shop feel -- clearly designed for co-working, with calm, chill music that's great for focusing. The matcha was mid, but the vibe and space really stand out. A few people had suggested to come to this coffee shop so I said ok. Looks blah from the outside but the inside is super cute. Lots of places to sit and it's decorated very nicely. I ordered a hot, decaf Snickers latte with skim milk. Did NOT taste like Snickers AT ALL. And for $7 for a small I expected it to be good. Tasted like a latte with a weird flavor. Took two stars off cause 1. The prices are not listed anywhere and it's WAY too expensive. And 2. It did not taste like what it said. I will say that the staff is very nice. Very smiley and helpful. Just have to work on the taste of the drinks and lower the prices. Could have gotten something better from Starbucks but I wanted to try something local. Thumbs down for me. read more

Yes, yes and yes. Lodging downtown, we saw this place while walking to dinner. I thought, I love the look of this place from outside and I want to patronize. The next day, I jogged and on the way back decided to call and just ask basic questions about their offerings. The young lady that answered was sweet, professional and welcoming. A double shot of espresso over ice and the lovely curtado. If you are looking for a place to sit and have coffee and a good pastry. This is the place to go. Nexus Coffee and Creative is a fantastic space in Little Rock for getting some work done and enjoying delicious coffee. I got their cold brew with a pump of lavender syrup and sugar free simple syrup. The barista was lovely and told me to taste my drink to make sure it had enough of the flavor for my tastes. The coffee was excellent! There is tons of comfortable seating with fast wifi to allow for you to get some work done. I stayed here for a few hours to crank out some work and the atmosphere at Nexus made working feel a little bit easier. I can't wait to visit again! read more

Sat morning following a tornado 'pass' night (pelting rain, crashing thunder and Zeus lightning) reminiscent of my stay in Houston during Harvey. The cashier is terribly adorable, congenial, and charming. They have a carnivore/paleo/Atkin's 'eggcup,' poached egg nestled in a ring of bacon. The bfast 'wich tower is biscuit, poached egg and pork sausage. There is also a casserole quiche of egg, meat & veggies. Of the baked goods my vote goes to the dense and satisfying (though no nuts--a preference for me) pumpkin bread. We had a French press, I'd hoped to enjoy mine with cup and saucer. Disappointingly, no ceramics on Saturday. Speaking of ceramics, they have local Makers for retail. Most amazing are the stringed instruments crafted by a luthier. Check it out. A downtown coffee shop that emphasizes atmosphere and of note, appears to be dog-friendly. I charged up with a chai-flavored cider; the flavor was more apple than spice which isn't a terrible thing. My cinnamon roll was rather impressive-looking and was heated up for me. The cream cheese was a bit much, but it was tasty. Between a nice-looking pastry spread and an abundance of drink options and alternative milks, most anyone could get something here any stay a while. read more

Nexus is located in the Old market district with tons of local shops and fun energy. Parking can be a bit congested but we were able to find fairly easy and free weekend parking a block or do away. Had it not been firing COVID times, we would have loved to explore more of the neighborhood and businesses. It appears the summer farmers market also takes place one block from here. We ordered the orange and rosemary latte and blueberry basil cold brew with a splash of oat milk. The cold brew was way too sweet for me but the latte's festive rosemary and orange combo hit the spot. My husband and I ended up swapping our orders since he didn't mind the cold brew's sweetness. The gentleman along the counter (possibly the owner) was very hospitable and seemed to help keep things moving despite being fairly busy. The decor and ambiance of the space is creative, cozy and cool all at once. Finally, the coffee: WOW! They know what they're doing here. Excellent coffee drinks and don't get me started on the pastries. I was surprised to learn they have an in-house baker! These aren't mass produced! The Parmesan Leek Pastry was a revelation.
