I'm new to vaping and the staff here was extremely helpful and kind. Despite not knowing much, I left with more of an understanding of how to use my mod, what materials to look for and what to avoid, and a lot more basis for understanding how to research what I might need moving forward. The place got busy very quickly while I was there and the two people had to hustle to keep up with it all, but took care of everyone in a courteous and helpful manner. Atmosphere was very nice. You could easily relax there and enjoy the social vibe that the community brings to things. Ran out of juice this morning and decided to try Nextgen after reading reviews; there's a vape shop closer to my apartment, but I wanted to see what other places have to offer. Since the weather was gorgeous, I took my bike and it was an easy ride. I did see a lot of open parking spots, which surprised me because Ave U is usually really congested. Definitely good to know for future trips where I'm not feeling so motivated to exercise. Huge selection, good hours, really helpful and friendly staff. I was actually taken aback from the abundance of juice flavors and almost couldn't decide what I even wanted. I ended up buying Zenith Orion, which is a raspberry lemonade flavor. Got home, put it in my tank, and oh my God it is so delicious. Really smooth, too, which is a huge plus. Been a long time customer but recently bought delta 8 cartridge that had a discolored/defective cbd product ( Delta 8) which tasted funny as i noticed upon vaping and i have been using the same strain(which was all bought here) for months so i know what it was suppose to taste like. One of the workers promised that he was willing to exchange if something were to happen( even if it was used) but his co-worker didn't want to do that and rather lose business altogether from a loyal customer. All i asked was for an exchange for a new one which he would lose 45$ at best and i would've still continued to purchase from them. Came in looking for some good e-juice, Let me tell you their selection of over a hundred flavors was overwhelming at first. I did end up finding some killer flavors, their prices were pretty good too. I like to cloud chase and while they don't have any real mechs the prices on their clones were really good. The guys know their stuff and it was a really pleasant experience. It seems they cater to more than just the vaper crowd too, I thought it was pretty tasteful the way they broke the store up between the vape gear and the glass they carry in the back. The service is great. The prices are double the prices for the same products you will find online. Today i purchased a cloupor mini. After tax i paid $81.66. Look anywhere online and see if you will pay anywhere near that much. Again the service is phenomenal. The prices are rediculous. Bought a kangertech kbox 120 and batteries which was a display model because they didn't have any more new and sealed. They discounted it 10.00 only but I didn't mind. They had no box or instructions. I thought ok no big deal. Ran it at 36 watts for a week no problems. One day it started producing a very hot burning taste. Went to the store and one of these knowledgeable sales people tell me not to run it over 7 watts which is the minimum output. I explained it was fine at 30 to 36 watts until that day. He went ahead and told me I was wrong... I thought ok whatever. 2 weeks later it completely died. No power nothing. I went in and asked the same knowledgeable sales kid what was wrong and he said I burned the chip inside. I said ok and what's the warranty. He proceeded to tell me there's nothing going he can do that AND I QUOTE it was working when you left. I asked him if I can get a credit towards another one since I'm in there twice a week every week to get liquid and coils and he said no idea have to send it to kangertech. I had an issue with another piece that I bought at another shop when I first started vaping and after 2 months they swapped it out with NO PROBLEMS. very poor service especially towards someone who goes as much as I do. Very disappointed and I will be going back to the original shop that I went to even though it is alittke out of my way. Ps...I bought another one from the original shop and run it at 30 to 40 watts!!! Moral is stick to who you trust and helps the customer not who is convenient. read more

So a friend of mine told me about this new vape shop that just opened up on Avenue u in Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn I went inside to check it out the guys were really friendly and had a lot of patience I ended up getting a really good vaper machining it works great I love it the shop is really nice has a lot of new stuff that I've never seen before and the owner and the workers are very friendly I highly recommend this place to everybody you won't be disappointed if you go there check it out I did and I'm happy and trust me it's very hard to make me happy read more

Came in a few weeks and was very specific that I wanted something with menthol and the guy was very nice and assured me that the liquid he recommended would have a strong menthol taste. I tried the liquid and there was zero menthol and the flavor didn't taste like advertised. I brought the liquid back and explained my situation and the guy said they have a no exchange policy with open bottles. He said "if you take a bite out of something you can't return it" but if you're in a respectable establishment and the business cares about customer service they will exchange to the customers satisfaction especially when they're the ones who made a recommendation and the product was not as described (I actually have taken bites of something and when it wasn't up to par, it was in fact exchanged for me). My basic point is that this place doesn't care about the customers, just about making money and that's also why the place marks up their products - some things in the store are actually double the price of retail. read more

The qualities that make a great vape shop are: 1) friendly and knowledgeable staff 2) large inventory 3) loungelike atmosphere and 4) good hours. This store has them all. Couches, water cooler, ability to taste different flavors and a knowledgeable staff make this a great place for new users and recurring customers. The only negative is that the prices are on the high side. They do have a reward program but it barely makes a dent into the overpriced eliquids. read more

Nice shop lots of good juices. Guys in the shop very helpful. However the prices are very high. I bought a bottle of jam monster juice which I was charged 40.00 dollars for. This juice comes with a package of cotton bacon for making your own coils. When I got home and opened the box I discovered the cotton was missing. I called the shop and told them my cotton was missing. I told them that I came all the way down to their shop from Long Island. Would they please put the missing cotton which is invaluable to people who make their own coils in an envelope and mail it to me. They denied my request, and told me they would hold it for me down in Brooklyn. Gee thanks I live on Long Island would it have been so hard to stick a stamp on an envelope and mail it to me as a sign of good faith, and to treat a customer who came a long way right?Suffice to say I will never go to Next Gen Vape shop again read more

I came in to try vaporizers because i was developing a smokers cough, also i heard the guys are knowledgeable so i went to their store and avoided online retailers (even tho i could get a better deal online) to show my support for local small businesses. I was on a budget so I ended up buying a $100 Easy Vape Deluxe Digital Vaporizer which the sales person explained had the same mechanism as and therefore was as good as a volcano just had less functions and cheaper build on the outside. I asked what return policy was as I wasn't sure if id want to keep it and he specifically said to me that once its been used there are no refunds, fair enough I get that's for sanitary purposes. I also got a $30 starter kit e-liquid cigarette and got a flavor. Up to this point 5 star experience!!! The Easy Vape Deluxe Digital Vaporizer was on display on a shelf with a thin coat of dust and residue (probably because the smoke shop is constantly filled with the exhaled vapor of customers and staff) It was the only one they had and so when he demo'd it and said he'd pack it up for me i asked for a new one, but he said they had no sealed box models, i thought, w/e not a deal breaker, ill wipe it down as long as its as good as he says. I brushed this off and took it home, pre heated for 20 minutes as recommended to get it prep'd but didnt bother cleaning it yet... meanwhile i went online and checked out reviews unboxings and demos and tutorials on youtube and i got upset, I am a purpose who will do a lot of research usually before making a purchase on a technical item, and in the past going by other peoples reviews has worked out for me wonderfully... Every post, every video, every side by side review said that other models were miles better in comparison and that comparing it to the volcano was like comparing an ice cream cone to the sun,and all the videos were from 2010 or 2011, so i decided to return it, save some more money and get a better model, but this would take some time. I quickly replaced everything the way it was given to me, the only thing i had done was pre heated it, which is what the sales guy did in the store anyway, to show me that this old dusty display model was still working. I went back to the store same day within 90 minutes... I was refused a refund... Why? You sold it to me off the shelf, I did nothing with it... look at it, smell it, examine it... I still want to purchase something at ur store just at a later date... but nope... he pointed to some sign and said no exceptions. Then later he made a smelling gesture towards the box and said... "come on, you've given this a try already, dont lie"... That caught me off guard and made me a bit mad! It was standing for god knows how many months on your shelf in your smoke shop thats constantly hot boxed with sweet e liquid-y aromas and covered in a layer of dust and the greasy byproduct of peoples constant vapor exhalation, if this vaporizer smells its because of that, and how dare you accuse me of lying... There was nothing sealed in that box, the mouth piece, the tube, the glass part that attaches, were all out of there once sealed plastic even when i got it... presumably to demo it. After a few minutes of staying super polite and calm and trying to understand why he was treating a possibly loyal customer like this, at which point i was forced into taking a gift card instead. This interaction is not good customer service, so I may end up using that gift card there for something or other at some point, but after that Ill never shop here again. I like supporting little local shops because they usually take care of you, and form relationships with locals, but after this i'm going to shop online, not for the $ savings, but for the superior customer service that may take longer and require shipping but wont call you a liar to your face and wont refuse to give your money back. All this aside the selection of e-liquids was amazing, and shop smelled good and people were nice, and they let you try flavors, and there's like a bar stool setup very cool. read more

Let me just preface by saying I know this is a popular vape store and my review won't change any minds. But I don't like the way I was treated when I went in there to buy something. It was totally empty when I walked in, and there were 4 guys behind the counter talking amongst themselves. When they saw me walk in, they all quietly laughed and looked at the guy who would end up speaking to me as if to say he got the short end of the stick. (Totally feel welcome at this point..) I felt uncomfortable the second they all turned to look at me and started laughing but I needed to get something so I just tried to buy it and get out as soon as possible. You may be wondering if I had a huge loser sign on my forehead, but no. It was because I wasn't a model and I didn't fit their standard of good looking. I gained some weight recently and, even though I'm a size 12 right now and that's perfectly fine with me and not to mention that's a normal ass size, it wasn't good enough for these 4 dudes who, by the way, looked like they belonged on trailer park boys.. I'm so happy their mothers taught them so well. Maybe it was just normal to make people who don't look as good to feel unwelcome. It just bothers me to think that they can all collectively snicker and exchange some looks and it's settled that the person who walked in isn't worthy of their time and that they're better. read more
