10 days into the new year and the one resolution I've never been able to, er, resolve: quit smoking. So I found Wyse Vapes on Yelp and wandered in this afternoon just to do some window shopping and maybe get a gist of what this whole vaping thang is about. Am I glad this was the first vape shop I went to, because Wyse Vapes is fabulous!!! First of all, the place is clean and airy (pun intended)--customers talking vapespeak and pluming away at the long spacious counter notwithstanding. On the left behind the counter shelves and shelves of e-liquids line the walls like a candy-colored apothecary. On the right in glass cabinets are a plethora of e-cigarettes, hookahs, box mods and vaping contraptions of all shapes and sizes. I must've looked like an idiot cuz I stood there bewildered and overwhelmed for what seemed like an eternity. One of the staff (Tanya, bless her) didn't make like a pushy salesperson and quietly waited behind the counter. But when I got over my initial discombobulation and asked for her help, she went above and beyond to show and explain the difference between (oh heck can I just call these doovalackeys "vaping gadgets"???) and let me test drive a few. With the patience of a saint she answered all my questions, even when I had to ask repeatedly (okay so I'm not good with mad scientist Rube Goldberg-esque stuff). Martin (the other staff guy) was equally helpful and neither of them made me feel like a dork for being a vaping noob. Tanya helped me find the perfect combination of atomizer & tank system. I was still overwhelmed by the sheer volume of e-liquid options, so I went for two basics: Sweet Tobacco and Blizzard, both of which I was allowed to sample at my leisure. The prices are fair and comparable to what you find elsewhere. Sure I could probably get what I got for $5-$10 less online, but let me just say that for the amazing customer service I received today, not only is that price difference negligible but it's well worth it. I went home happy and have been blowing smoke rings and geeking out with my new toy. No doubt I'll return to Wyse Vapes soon...if not for new e-liquid then for an extra atomizer cartomizer thingee or maybe even a bigger better box mod! Plume on, Wyse Vapes! read more

Not your average vape shop. This is truly the ideal version of a modern vape shop. They completely renovated the entire space and created such a great vibe to hang out and meet up with some friends while enjoying their wide selection (probably biggest in Brooklyn) of vape e juice along with some awesome snacks that they provide or maybe even one of their insane iced coffee drinks. It's honestly more than just a vape shop it's like a second home to a lot of people. Everyone is extremely friendly and you will always meet someone new to talk to and enjoy a nice talk. I hear they are adding a few more really cool features to the shop so I'm definitely excited to see what will happen. Did I mention they have free parking in the back! read more

Awesome shop! The space is beautiful the bathroom amazing. The lounge area has a bar where u can get smoothes and other beverages. The selection is top notch. The staff was really friendly they helped me find what I needed with patience since I'm pretty picky. Definitely a A+ experience. I'll be back for sure. read more

Went here today after my old vape died! Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even offered to charge up my new vape and put everything together for me and show me how to use it. Prices are a bit on the high side as compared to buying online but this is the norm for brick and mortar stores so I can't complain. The knowledgeable staff and not having to wait 3 days for a package certainly made the extra cost worth it. It really wasn't that much more honestly. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who lives in this part of Brooklyn. My only complaint would be the AC was not cold enough for my liking, then again I'm the type of person who keeps my windows open in a snow storm so i wouldn't hold that against them. read more

Bought a mod from here which died less than a week after. They volunteered to return it to the manufacturer for a replacement which was great. However it has been three months and recently every time i stop in the only update is the manufacturer is being unresponsive. The initial information was that it would take six weeks, six weeks after the six weeks its getting concerning. read more

Filled it w/some water & let it sit 4 a few minutes while I did other stuff. When I came back 2 it, I noticed the piece of furniture it sat on was wet. I realized this silicone bong was leaking from the bottom. I wiped it down, the furniture too & filled it again w/less water. Again, it leaked. I could feel the water coming out of the seam on the bottom. The next evening, I went back 2 the store w/the defective bong. The owner was there, not the sales man. I showed her the leaky bong, as I had brought it in a plastic bag w/ water in the bong. She graciously said she would replace it 2,morrow night. There were no others in the store. 2morrow in the AM she would pick some up. She said stop by tomorrow night. I said 2 her I live a bit far, here is my #, please call me when u have the replacement bong She took my number, though it was obvious she did not want 2. I started 2 tell she was all lip. I tried 2 give her the defective bong, she kept telling me she had no use 4 it & told me if I did not want it 2 toss it. The next day came and went. No call. The day after the sun rose and the sun set and no call. On the third day I called the shop and the guy who sold me the bong answered and he said... oh yeah, Elle (the boss) told me to tell you that you are putting too much water in the bong. It is a small bong and does not need a lot of water he relayed to me from her. I told him, I already tried putting less water in and that less water would only be the answer to the problem if the water was leaking from any place else but the seam on the bottom of the bong. He then started to go wild with me on the phone calling me a 'dude' and telling me she just told him today about this in case I should come by. When I asked him to give her my number and have her call me he told me to ###k off and hung up the phone. OH, before doing so, he told me there are a lot of signs in the store that state NO REFUNDS. The next day I drafted a letter to the shop asking them to replace the bong. I advised them I would give them 15 days or so to do so before I would proceed with small claims court. The letter was sent certified mail and a few days after I got a voice mail message from someone - a person that never left their name - calling me and saying they are calling from Legal Services. They commented in their message to me that my letter was absurd. No legal service of any kind would every leave that type of a message. I very clearly recognized this voice as the owner, Ellee. I called back, got a voice mail box, left a message and never heard back from her. Regardless of the cost of this silicone bong, he did give me a good price, but hey I did buy two, b t w, the other bong is glass, they did not do the correct thing. As the owner originally stated to me, she would replace it. We know she never did. And she is a game player, inventing herself as legal services. WTF. As for the guy who sold this item to me, he was so nice in the store helping me, but our phone call proved that this 'dude' couldn't take the pressure. In fact, I was glad I did not go back to the store because I sensed in or phone call that this guy could be dangerous when met in person. As for the signs all over the store stating there is no refund, that's OK but not applicable to merchandise that is damaged. Frankly, I did no see such a sign or signs but I would think that if that is the store's policy, they should inform you of this verbally at check out. And by law, it is required to be stated on the receipt. But again, according to federal, city and state law, a no refund policy does not apply to damaged merchandise. AND, I was not asking for a refund. all I wanted was a replacement. Next stop... Small Claims Court. OH and I may tack on the cost of my damaged fine wood furniture that this bong leaked on. At at time when their relationship with the community should be very important to them, they obviously are a turn off to this customer who will never return to their shop again and I will post this review accordingly.

They come frozen & bundled in twos and are the perfect size, which make them easy for boiling. If you've never had a pastele before, they are sort of similar to a tamale.. except made with masa de yuca instead of corn flour. They are filled with meat, pimento, olives and more, all mixed together with delicious achiote seed oil, spices and herbs. WyseVape where have you been all my life??? Quit smoking 1 1/2 years ago. Have been vaping zero nicotine and this place has amazing juices from so many companies, your head will spin and at great prices. No pressure about trying as many as you want. The staff gives great recommendations. There is free parking, people of all ages are there and whether you need to use the bathroom or not, you need to check it out, because it's a masterpiece. The place is my new and hopefully the one vape shop for many years to come. Keep up the good work guys and welcome to the neighborhood. read more

The owner of the shop is a very NASTY man. I purchased a vape and the same night the button wasn't working. I came back next day to ask him to exchange or get my money back. I had an original receipt but still he didn't want to do anything for me . Instead he started yelling and cursing at me saying I don't want to see you in my store ever again. WOW what a way to treat a customer!!!! Please STAY AWAY from this store, they sell poor quality products and you will be verbally abused if you need to get your money back or exchange the product.. read more

I absolutely am in love with this vape store. The environment is so chill I want to sit & hang out in here for hours ... They have a nespresso machine snacks a full fridge of beverages nice relaxing music ... And that's just added perks ... The customer service is wonderful you get helped right away they treat you like family whatever you need they have. The place is beautiful itself clean modern beautifully renovated. I've been a vaper for a good two years now and honestly am relieved this shop exists in my neighborhood. It's brand new and has everything I can imagine or need. The place is huge and the environment is very friendly. The workers are very professional and can answer any question you have. I've dealt with many vape shops in South Brooklyn and Staten Island areas. This place is just amazing. Tanya and Martin make me feel at home when I come here.
