Mike answered the phone on the first ring and was fantastic with communication. He gave me his cell phone number so I could text him pictures of the plumbing set up at my home. Mike's employee, Julian, showed up right at the scheduled time of 8 am and was wearing a mask, which I appreciate. Julian was friendly, polite, organized, and efficient. I felt comfortable having him work at my house. The price was reasonable and they gave us a 10% discount for paying in cash. I like it when businesses do that. Julian did a nice job. Have a look at my photos of before and after! We decided to upgrade our bathroom faucet, as well. We are thinking of having a couple more plumbing projects done and we would certainly use these plumbers!

It wasn't the thermostat but the furnace which was over 30 years old. Their salesman came out and we decided to do the furnace and central air system. But after speaking with him they sent another tech to install it and all is good

($200 service charge) HUH?? I brought the system from Binsky 7 years ago, in all accounts the system is a baby. Conveniently the parts are still under warranty but the labor is not and hence the 4k bill. The tech trying to press me that this is because i didn't buy their service plan. Really? like that would help a faulty part or labor. I will not be using Binsky for any future services.. Period. Hard stop

The answering service took the call and John called us back to get the details right away. It was not an emergency. He scheduled us for Monday. Dan and Miguel came out. Very professional, knowledgeable plumbers. As they progressed with the repair, they came and told us what they were finding and how they would repair it. They completed the task in about an hour. Also they noticed a possible other situation we may need to address and gave us the information we will need to move forward with that later. It concerns the Middlesex Water main valve. A Middlesex Water representative came out right away, to assist and let us know what he saw. That night, there was a new issue with a different bathroom that may have been related to the work they were doing. I called up, sent them a video and they came back today and fixed it. Review for Roto-Rooter Rating: I have mixed feelings about my recent experience with Roto-Rooter. On one hand, their technicians are excellent. This was my second time in less than a year having the same sink snaked, and just like the first time, the plumber was professional, timely, neat, and successfully unclogged the drain. If you are in an emergency and need someone reliable who will get the job done right, they are definitely the way to go. However, I find it increasingly difficult to justify using them as a "go-to" service due to the lack of incentive for loyal customers. Paying full price for the same recurring issue within a single year feels steep. While the plumber did offer a $100 discount this time, that is a standard coupon amount I likely could have found elsewhere. What is more frustrating is that I've gone above and beyond to prevent this: * I purchased their proprietary maintenance cleaner (at 3x the price of standard retail cleaners) and used it exactly as instructed. * As a two-family household, we are extremely cognizant of what goes down our drains. * We previously used them for a major sewer line repair--a nearly five-figure job--less than five years ago. I would expect that level of history and investment to place us in a "high-value client" bracket with better pricing protection. The reality is that if it isn't an emergency, there are much more affordable options available for a standard drain snaking. Summary: Great quality and highly reliable, but the pricing model doesn't seem to value repeat customers or long-term loyalty. -- Jason
