This time, the water from the upstairs bathtub-jacuzzi leaked to the garage's wall downstairs. This happened when the kids were taking a bath. We suspected it's due to overflowing to the certain limit. (The water did not overflow the bath boundary). NOTE: The bathtub is not used on a regular basis, but only when our grandchildren are visiting and staying. We called Aaron's Plumbing & Rooter and scheduled a diagnostic appointment. We were afraid it would be a major repair. Aaron came on the next day, examined the bathtub and explained what might have happened. He looks very professional, calm and clearly explain the possible options and solutions. He examined the overflow cover on the bathtub. He cleaned and sealed it, asking us to wait for 24 hours before testing. He also explained us the possibility of another solution if this one did not work. The 2nd solution was much more complex and expensive and we were hoping that the 1st solution would work. We followed his suggestion and tested the leak in 2 days. It was the success. We are very happy with the outcome and definitely recommend this company to anyone.

The 1200 sq ft patio extension done by NorCal heaved after one rain and had to be completely ripped…read moreout and re-done. All of the concrete pros that looked at this were blown away at how shoddy the work from NorCal had been. Specifically, they cited: * No epoxy used in the rebar dowels and consequently many pulled out * Rebar dowels were only #3 (3/8") and not #4 (1/2") and consequently they bent too * Rebar dowels were only every 6-8' apart vs 16"-24" spacing industry standard * Excavation was WAY too shallow, 0-2", vs 4-6" industry norm * No deepened edge of excavation * Insufficient concrete gravel base (0-2" vs 4-6" minimum) * No caulk used between the old and new, hence water would seep between * Some rebar dowels had rusted because they were too close to the soil and no caulk * The slurry water that is supposed to be discarded at the start of the concrete pour was used in the patio According to the other contractors, he "missed it by a mile" compared to industry standard practices. So you think maybe this guy would just own up to it and fix it or pay to have it redone. No, exactly the opposite. Contested everything and even had to call the sheriff to keep this psycho under control a few more times too. So I did sue him in court, and yes, I won my judgment. But small claims court is limited to $10K vs actual cost to replace of $13k+, plus the hassle to do this twice, plus all the harassment and law enforcement calls, and the headaches, and the jackhammer and concrete saw noise and dust, and the time to prep and take this to court. If all this wasn't bad enough, he drove a 70,000 pound concrete truck over my septic field which caused thousands in damages, packed up and left without finishing the project, nickel and dimed me mid-stream, renigged on the credit he offered when I scaled back the original project, and harassed and threatened me and my family. What a total disaster. Ignore the glowing reviews from his few friends and family, AVOID AVOID AVOID

I was surprised my call was answered & thrilled that Gerado said he would be in my area in an hour or so & could take a look. When he arrived he gave me a quote & said he could repair it now. Everything was in good repair & done at a very reasonable price. A week later late in the evening I noticed another section had begun showing some seeping at the popup heads & figured to check it in the morning. Next morning to my surprise I received a text from the water co that my smart meter had alerted them to a continuous flow. I went right to work & saw I had a valve problem. I thought I could handle the repair on my own following some you tube advice, I replaced the top of the valve body. Long story short I was unsuccessful & couldn't stop the ebb. I called Gerado who determined possibly because my original valve was over 16 years old there could be some minor variance to the molding process or I purchased a defective valve. We agreed to replace the entire valve assembly. Gerado who returned again on Sunday with a new valve installed the valve in short order. Immediately all was back to good working order. Really can't recommend them enough and had such a great experience working with Edgar and his small, experienced team. We requested multiple quotes from small and large landscaping companies before going with Edgar and Endless Summer. We chose Endleess Summer because Edgar was easy to work with, provided transparent pricing (and was one of the lower bids, approx $1,800 less than some of the larger companies that leverage subcontractors), worked up a contract and guaranteed the irrigation updates and sod for several months, and Edgar, the main contractor, either personally did the work or oversaw the work himself with his two longtime partners, which ensured everything we discussed was executed properly and timely. They are fully bonded and insured and beyond that basic requirement they always left the worksite extremely tidy at the end of each day which we appreciate, and cleaned the area thoroughly at the end of the job. The work was done in less than three days which involved turning three inches of soil, installing gopher wire, redoing some of our older pipes and valves, installing sod, new sprinkler heads, edging, weed cloth, drip lines and a few of our drought tolerant plants in the very front. Edgar also came back a few times to ensure everything was growing in well and provided detailed instructions to ensure the sod came in well, it's now been two months and everything is flourishing. As an added bonus, Edgar recommended a couple local nurseries we would have never found without his help, JC nurseries in particular, with locations in Gilroy and San Martin, is a wonderful gem with by far the healthiest decorative grasses and shrubs we've found and super competitive prices, offering free or low cost local delivery. Our kids and pup love our lush front lawn and the neighbors definitely appreciate the upgrade too. We will look forward to working with Edgar again when it's time to upgrade our property line fence and landscape the back!
