I was a loyal customer for years. Tom and Pat built an incredible shop. They knew their stuff, stood behind their work, treated customers with respect, and earned every bit of the reputation they had. I was genuinely happy for them when they retired. Unfortunately, the shop they left behind just isn't the same. Since the ownership change, I've had one frustrating experience after another, and almost all of them have involved the front office. One visit was for squeaky brakes. They inspected everything and told me my brake pads had plenty of life left and that the caliper design on my vehicle can squeak under light braking. Weird, but okay. I understood, thanked them, and hung up. A few minutes later, I got another call from the supervisor because apparently the first advisor didn't think I understood. I assured him that I did. I understood the explanation the first time. Getting called back just so someone could explain the exact same thing again felt incredibly condescending. Then came the A/C issue. My A/C makes a loud hissing noise through the vents whenever the compressor is running. They found it was low on refrigerant, added dye, and the noise disappeared... for about two days. When it came back, they cleaned a vent actuator even though they admitted it wasn't the problem. Then they told me the noise only happened when the climate control was set to Auto and suggested I just not use Auto. I explained, again, that it happened in Auto, Manual, and Defrost. Basically, anytime the A/C compressor kicked on. Their response? "Then just use Auto." At that point, I realized we weren't having the same conversation. The one person who absolutely deserves recognition is the woman who came outside afterward to talk with me. She listened, understood why I was frustrated, and treated me like a human being instead of someone who needed the same explanation repeated three different ways. She was professional, empathetic, and honestly the only reason this review isn't even lower. JC Motors isn't the shop it used to be. I no longer trust them with my family's vehicles, and I can't recommend them to friends or family anymore. I sincerely hope Tom and Pat are enjoying retirement. They built something special. I just wish that same standard of customer service had survived the ownership change.

At the same time, the quality of the cars I saw left something to be desired (things like chipped paint, warning lights and broken buttons on the dash, loose, wiggly seats). However, their policy for warranty is one month only at time of purchase, there is no option to extend that warranty at all. This made me uncomfortable, as, to me, a longer warranty would have shown that they put more trust in their work. T.L.D.R. Respectful staff, no negotiation hassle, but be mindful of vehicle quality.

The staff I have worked with have always been professional and cordial to me when I have entered for a wash, and I have never experienced any issues with any damages, streaking, or a poor cleaning on my truck. Another thing that is offered at this wash are free vacuum cleaners as shown in the pictures. I have never experienced any issues finding an open position to park to utilize these and they work fairly well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this car wash if you are nearby the area and are looking for a cheaper wash/vacuum to clean out your vehicle.

They assured me it would be reliable as that was the only reason I was getting a car but after only having the vehicle for 4 days, the check engine light came on. When I called they said they would pay half which actually ended up being me paying 100 dollars more than half which was ok at the time because I was grateful they helped in a way. Still very frustrating. Now it has been a few more weeks, haven't had the car for a month, haven't even used the full tank of gas, and I had to take it back to the shop again with an extra 300 dollars cost. In total I've spent close to 1 thousand dollars on fixing this car out of pocket on what was supposed to be a reliable car. Didn't bother contacting them again because the last time I did, they were stressing I brought the car "as is" and this is very upsetting for me, especially since I work 12 hour night shifts and had to stay up bringing the car in the shop twice when I should've been sleeping for work. I'm writing this because I don't want someone to make the same mistake I did and at least bring someone of your own to look at the car you want before purchase.
