Aside from the initial name confusion (#1) I was able to find it in the same strip mall as some well known eateries in town (#2). It's a small pharmacy. It looks almost like a pawn shop or a bank teller, complete with a walk up window behind a clear pane. Love the box of masks and sanitizer available. I'm just glad they have a couple of chairs to wait in. There are a lot of young folks working in the back; it's gotta be up there with the most bustling pharmacy I've seen. Normally we see a pharmacist and a couple of pharm techs moving around slowly, but at NVision it was a little party. I appreciate that they were professional and friendly; I was in and out in no time. They also offer curbside pickup and free home delivery. It arrived yesterday, the ice was melted and the medication bottles were hot. I called the pharmacy and the pharmacist/manager, Derek, told me the medication was still good. I told him that I'm not putting that in my body if it is hot and it is supposed to be refrigerated. He said he would exchange them. My mom brought them up to exchange today, and Derek gave her a hard time about exchanging them because he said the ice should've still been good. He eventually exchanged one bottle because it was closed and he is going to resell it. The other bottle he would not exchange because he said it was open so he can't resell it. I did open the other bottle to see if the medication inside was hot or if it was just the bottle. The medication itself was hot. I opened the package and called the pharmacy within 5 minutes of it being delivered. The ice was already totally melted and everything, including the medication inside the bottle, was hot. Also, I did a check on this medication and it states do not use if you forget to refrigerate it because it can cause diarrhea and vomiting. So, pharmacist lied to me to get me to keep the medication. I will be reporting them to the medical board, consumers protection agency, etc.

On one occasion, I actually drove to the clinic to make the appointment in person, as I had called many times without being able to get a hold of someone. The staff and Dr Pick were very nice, and the boys appeared to get good care, so I was willing to overlook the communication issues. Today, was a very different experience. We went in for our annual physical, and I did not bring a copy of the boys vaccination records, as I didn't think I needed them, since they were on file. I delt with Veronica who was very short with me, and refused to look in the boys file for the vaccination record. My only option was to reschedule. I'm in school full time and work, this was the time I had allotted for the appointment. Veronica was present, as I called my husband to see if he could manage to get out of work the following week to bring the boys back, and it really didn't seem to phase her. She stated that it was Dr Picks policy to turn away patients who did not bring their vaccination records with them. Personally, I think it is a horrible policy, especially since no one made mention of this on the phone when I made the appointment, and we had been seen in the past without bringing the record, and it was not an issue. Meanwhile I arranged my schedule to make an appointment that was a complete waste of my time. Needless to say, I called our insurance and had them reassign the boys a new pediatrician, who they will be seeing soon.
