Your reason for visiting urgent care is never good; however, Sam, David, Gabriel and Cynthia always take such good care of my family. We have been there a lot lately it seems and they are genuinely concerned for us. It's nice that they remember previous conversations just like friends! The facility is very clean and comfortable. We have never really had a long wait there and they are always very helpful with insurance questions. Any time we have needed a referral to a specialist (usually orthopedic), they have sent us to an office as equally professional as theirs. My family will never go anywhere else! read more

I paid $50 for a lady nurse to act like a total bitch. She told me I had a wound. I already knew that. Then she gave me band aides when I specifically told her that my skin was having allergic reactions to band aides. I paid $50 for someone to tell me that I didn't need to use any new medicine than what I already was using, I should be good in a week, and that I have a wound. I expect someone to give me better treatment than that. I had to sit in the waiting room for over an hour with five other families with each having screaming infants with them. Then, I had to sit in a room waiting for a nurse or doctor for another 20 minutes before seeing anyone. The lady nurse/doctor available was trying to rush me out the door as quickly as she could. Anyone who goes to this urgent care better make sure to pack some ear plugs for the screaming infants. I will never go back to this urgent care ever again. read more

We were visiting Waco from FL and I looked at Urgent Care facilities in the area. The ratings were excellent and I was able to be seen. Some weren't even taking patients. The reception staff was very warm & friendly and all of the medical staff were not only exceptional professionals, but really nice compassionate people. I went 8 days ago for a UTI, I was seen and got meds. They did a urine culture to verify what type of infection and I was told I would know in 2/3 days. I have made numerous phone calls to get no answer, or to be told someone would call by the afternoon. There is a disconnect between their website & call center and what actually happens at the office. I signed up online for a rapid COVID test (which is the kind I needed). After I signed up, I called to make sure they would be able to give me the rapid test. The answer was yes. They even told me I could come in earlier then what my appointment was scheduled for. When I got to the front desk to check in, I was informed they would not give me a rapid test (only a 1-2 day send off test). After some back and forth, I settled on seeing the doctor anyway. I was then told I would have to wait until my scheduled appointment (2 hours later) even though their people on the phone told me to come in early! If all of this would have been communicated from the beginning, I would have not even booked an appointment, let alone show up. I would have had no hard feelings, either. Now, I'll take my business elsewhere. Premier ER got me in 15 minutes after I left here and did the rapid test without any problems. Go there instead. read more

I had a third appointment today, 01/09/2023, on a knee injury, and twice now, the wc referral department has dropped the ball on getting a referral sent out to an orthopedic surgeon. On the other hand, Meghan, at the reception desk, was excellent. I needed copies of my medical records, and after filling out the correct release paperwork, she happily got what I needed without any attitude. I went in for a strep and flu test and the nurse said it would only take 20 minutes for the results which was fine because I was in no rush. The lady working the front desk was super sweet and very helpful. The nurse and even the doctor were very kind. The problem is my friend and I waited almost an hour and a half for the results of a "20 minute test". They were ill prepared and had one dr on clock. I tried to be patient but the wait was absurd. I could also here them gossiping about customers and wasting time through the door of my room! So much for "urgent" care. This place is ridiculous. I took a child in for a physical a week ago and they were suppose to refer me to a cardiologist so she can clear and play sports. I was on hold for over three hours yesterday because they gave me the wrong paperwork. I then went by there they gave me more incorrect paperwork!!! I went in today and the clinic manager was completely rude. She gave me new paperwork after I called and found a cardio myself and said she faxed the paperwork. I went to my car and called cardiologist and Nextcare clinic manager didn't fax the completed paperwork need for me to schedule an appt. I went back inside with cardiologist doc office on the phone and she asked her to refactor it. Doc office stated what they needed. And manager said ok I just sent it. I came home and called cardio to make an appt because we are now 5 days of no basketball ball and guess what. The clinic manager AGAIN only faxed the two papers and not all that was needed!!!!!! I cannot make an appt until this clinic faxes the paperwork!!!!! Calling is a joke. I spent two class periods and all the f my lunch break on hold. So now I have to make a forth trip to this clinic. And as I walk out, the clinic manager yells. YOUR WELCOME! Lady, if someone had just done their job 3 of the times I was in there, then I would have said thank you. And, I was on a conference call on my phone while trying to get you to do your job!!!! The doctor we saw, said, just call me if there are any issues. I went to your center 2 weeks ago with a bag cough. I was tested negative for covid and flu so the pa gave me a prescription for albuterol and a anti biotic. The problem was that she only gave me 4 days of the antibiotic. I started feeling better right away but my symptoms never completely went away. I made another appointment for today to try and get a refill for the antibiotic. They told me that the provider that saw me the first time wasn't available and I'd have to pay another copay of $120. All I needed was a refill. Odd that the first provider only gave me a four day prescription for the antibiotic when standard is 7 days. Seems like trying to generate another office visit and another $120 was the motivation more than patient care. The Doctors at this place are awesome! very sweet and caring but the receptionist with the blonde/gray hair, older lady, maybe in late 40s/early 50s or later. I believe her name was Joan. She was NOT good with customer service at all and i work at Magnolia so i know how to treat guests/customers. She was VERY hard to work with and if i was her boss and saw how she was treating me and other sick/in pain customers then i would HIGHLY consider firing her. She should not have been training other receptionists because if she lets them think that's what customer service looks like then this place will not succeed like they have been. I see lots of good reviews for this place. My review is based more monetarily than anything. The doc I saw was about what I expected. Get you in, give you medicine, get you out. It took me about four hours from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. This is pathetic since I registered online and they called and told me when're best time to come in would be. A couple of months after being seen I started getting calls from a third party charging me for a splint that was given to me while at the hospital. $80 for a splint! Be mindful of the time you spend and of the extra money you will have to pay! read more

Horrible service. Front desk lady was extremely rude! They screwed up my insurance charges and wouldn't correct it even after I had my insurance representative on the phone explaining what my benefits were. The doctor was condescending to say the least and talked down to us like we were idiots. I tried to explain what has been going on with family members who have been I'll the last two weeks and he told me I was wrong. Test results came back and his initial opinion was wrong and my daughter in fact did have what I assumed. He wouldn't make eye contact with me after that. if i could leave zero stars i would. i spent 3 hours in the waiting room to get checked out. when the doctor saw me she told me she was going to give me amoxicillin which i'm allergic to and told her prior to that. she then called someone in the other room asking about it because she didn't know what was wrong with me. she then told me i probably had mono which i've already had so it couldn't be the case. she then told me i should just go to the ER because I wasn't going to get the help i needed there. She also told someone i was 17 which is wrong and if she would have even bothered to look at my chart. The major issue I have is that , your website shows that you accept Medicaid, however, when I arrived and signed in, the receptionist informed me that you will not allow Medicaid to cover the cost of a Sports Physical, even though Medicaid does cover the cost for a Sports Physical. HORRIBLE - SCAM - LONG WAITS As someone who's usually a little skeptical about bad reviews I decided to take a shot and go here.... bad idea. The reviews that say they will give you a price then switch it on you are 100% true. I was told I would owe $120 after getting an XRay for a dislocated finger. Upon leaving I was told I now owed $200. I told the woman at the front desk that the other person told me $120 and she basically said she'll charge me $120 because that's what I was told but they're gonna bill me the rest in the mail and that I still had to pay it. BS scam. This on top of the long wait time when the place was basically empty and the rude receptionist when I first arrived makes this by far the first worse Urgent Care I've ever visited. Go anywhere but here. Also, the person who saw me didn't say whether or not she was a MD, NP, PA or whatever and although nice, she seemed like she didn't really know what she was doing. read more

I LOVE everything about this facility. The staff is friendly and on their game. The waiting room is clean, comfy and inviting.The patient room has a TV AND a computer with internet! YAY!!!! The wait was not terrible, from start to finish (walk in) it was two hours. That included X-rays though for my 18 month old. Quick service usually. If there is flu going around in town the wait time may be longer than usual. Also have found that the "wait time" is also reflective of the seriousness of the illness. Terrible service. Made an appointment at 9, and arrived at 8:45. Was informed that there isn't a doctor or nurse present and no idea if they plan to come to work at all. I asked the receptionist to reschedule me and she explained 1, they're not appointments and 2, I had to make my reservations online - she couldn't do it. I scheduled another appointment at 12:00 and I've been sitting in an exam room for an hour, waiting. On New Year's Day, this is the only game in town.
