I know that a lot of people can easily leave poor reviews when in pain and not being seen as quickly as they would like. I felt the same way at first sitting in that chair suffering. however I was having severe chest pain after crazy food poisoning and only had to wait 45 minutes before I was given a back room with a provider who assessed me, found my issue, gave me meds for it and by the time I was home the pain that was making me ball my eyes out at the urgent care was gone and I was able to sleep. I did make an appointment online as I was headed there around 9 pm and i definitely recommend doing that. thank you for helping me my pain was unbearable. read more

Yesterday my friend and helper Kevin stepped on a nail in a piece of pallet wood. Today.....swollen and painful. He is walking very very slowly. I was going to do what I'd do for me - tetanus shot at a store, then an Epsom Salt/Hot water soak. Kevin's landlord is a nurse with a home healrh care business. She's not having any 1950's healing on her watch. She called Kevin in to Urgent Care 1701 E Thomas Road. I think Hil's choice was excellent. This place is clean, orderly and processing it's lobby of sitters very fast. Kevin is still filling out his questionnaire. I am about done with this review. I visited Next Urgent Care on Thomas last night, and I have to say it's not a place I'd recommend bringing your kids. Despite explaining that my daughter had a fever for five days. Already on antibiotics from her primary care doctor. I went hoping they'd help figure out what was going on. Instead, the doctor's main response was, "What do you want me to do? What do you want me to prescribe?" I even suggested a chest X-ray, but he dismissively said they couldn't do that because there was no pediatric tech on-site. He offered swabs, but as someone in the medical field, I knew that given the timeline, it wouldn't change treatment. When I declined swabs, his attitude remained rude and dismissive. If he doesn't like helping patients, maybe he should reconsider his job. Families deserve respectful, proactive care, not someone acting like a smart-aleck when kids are sick. read more

NextCare already had to pay millions in fines in the past for fraudulent billing practices and obviously the fines haven't discouraged them from continuing to do business like they have been doing it. We received a bill from them with the same code for the same test showing up several times. When I called them and asked for a supervisor, they were "all in a meeting" (all day long, of course). Do not come here, I know urgent care isn't where you go for a plus service but my boyfriend had a bruised bone and we were there for 2 hours. They ended up calling him for a follow up appt and they didn't realize they forgot him in the room. 2 hours and they forgot he even existed, the first thing we heard before the doc opened the door was "who is this guy". 5/3/25. I visited Flagstaff for the 1st time. I picked up a bug from a flight in last week. I dropped into NextCare unannounced. The receptionist had a warm welcome and had me in the lineup right away. Sweet young lady. The Nurse was friendly and professional and had me ready for the doctor in short order.  Dr JARED RODRIGUEZ, APN diagnosed me without hesitation. Great people skills and with a good sense of humor. I saw Luu Pacyen at this urgent care for a Toradol injection for my joint disorder and she was incredibly unprofessional. It took 3 1/2 hours for me to get the injection and she berated me for a good 30 minutes to an hour because I wouldn't take the pain meds she sent me and she continued to try to send me medicin that would have major health conflicts with medications I am already taking. I was very confused when she was arguing with me about not taking the pain meds. She proceeded to talk down to me for not taking the pain meds. She sent me to my pharmacy and then continued to talk down to me for asking for pain meds then proceeded to tell me well if I spent my time telling you all about my problems, you'd be having a terrible day. Incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful I see why she works at an urgent care and not a hospital. I would not recommend this provider nor this practice. read more

I am surprised by the negative reviews. I had a great experience. Booking online was easy, i arrived 15 min early as advised and was taken back a few minutes before my appointment time. Aid took my vitals and then a minute later the nurse practitioner arrived, evaluated my condition, and I was out in 20 min and my prescriptions had already been sent to my pharmacy and was ready for me to pick up on my way home. I could overhear the receptionist helping a patient who didn't have his insurance info and she dodged all she could to find the info for him. Unfortunately, he wasn't shown and she offered several alternatives for him to get his info or where he could go where it wasn't needed. If I needed emergency assistance, I wouldn't hesitate to go back here. read more

On November 24th, 2025, I visited this urgent care and unfortunately had a very negative experience, particularly with the staff member who checked me in and took my vitals. I understand urgent care centers can be busy, and the long wait wasn't my issue. What upset me was the disrespectful way I was spoken to. As I was explaining the stomach issues I'd been dealing with for several days, the staff member interrupted me in a rude tone and said, "Be so for real with me--are you just here for a doctor's note, or are you here to get treated?" It was dismissive and completely inappropriate, especially considering how unwell I felt. I wouldn't wait two hours--despite having an appointment--if I didn't need medical care. Yes, I needed a note for work, but I legitimately needed treatment as well. His attitude made me feel worse on a day I was already struggling. While waiting, I could also hear staff openly complaining about not wanting to be there, which added to the overall unprofessional atmosphere. I work in customer service too, so I understand tough days happen--but basic kindness and compassion should never be optional, especially in healthcare. Their job is to help people and I left feeling unheard, disrespected, and extremely frustrated. read more

I took my daughter for a TB test. We went after two days to read the results. We were supposed to be there at 2:15. We got there at 2:10. Do by the time we got in it was 2:17, just for two minutes two minutes they didn't want to sign the paperwork for my daughters results. Her last doctor just asked us to go in two days they never ever told me about a certain time it has to be just two days. Anyway she needed that test to start a job so now she has to wait one week in order to get another TB test and we have to pay again. Is ridiculous. And after two days I received a bill charging me for the test when I payed cash. And if you don't call they will send you to collections. Try a different urgent care but nextcare. I've had 2 frustrating visits. For both I scheduled appointments and had to wait over an hour to be seen. The second one did not accomplish anything. I am still sick with no outcome. The test results were delivered by Labcorp a while back, and I am still waiting for a phone call from the clinic even after having contacted the main office. I would recommend going elsewhere. This location seems to not be staffed appropriately (too many MAs and not enough providers) and the overall clinical care is very delayed for an urgent care setting. read more

Legitimately they keep emailing me about an amount I owe that I don't know about. I've asked them multiple times to send me an invoice and I've given them my address and they've refused to and now sent me to collections. They send me their website, which I absolutely cannot get on or can I even get like a request of my username and password they said that I don't exist but yet I owe them money. Then when I call, I get a machine every time. Now I'm in collections. I have the best credit if this ever fucks up my credit I'll be so pissed. The fact is if you can't send me a legitimate invoice with all the scams to go on I'm not paying. I'm happy to pay. I have all the money for it, but this is ridiculous. I don't even know what the visit was for because it happened months later or years later or whatever it was that I received it cause I have no idea what I went there for I would never recommend this company whatsoever ever they even say that you can book an appointment online you'll still be there for two hours past your appointment awful fucking company. read more

i went in feeling sick with a rash, sore throat with chest pain and coughing, cold, fatigue, nausea and stomach pains, being drenched in sweat while shivering, red dots in varying places on my body, low grade fever ect. they asked my symptoms, took vitals and gave me antibiotics and steroids without even looking at my throat/mouth or running any test. Very long delay after appointment before prescription will be sent. Have waited 3 hours and still timeline for when we can get our prescription sent to pharmacy. Provider was very helpful but we experienced issues with the administrative piece which kept us from getting the medication. Ended up having to get seen by a telemedicine doctor separately who was able to get a prescription ordered and filled before we heard back from NectCare. read more

This was literally the worse experience I'll just stick with going to banner urgent care. I waited for over an hour for my son to be seen they did his vitals said his temp was 97.8 which is good. Then the doctor came in and spent a whole 1 minute on him felt his stomach he said it hurt a little he did not cry in pain or jump or flinch from pain when she was pushing on his stomach.. and she was like yeah he's got a fever he's really hot his stomach hurts on the right side I'm gonna send you to the ER sounds like his appendix...... okay now he was throwing up and had stomach pain for the pasted 3 days on top of that my daughter had got sick my mom and my niece also were sick throwing up... but okay lady your the doctor even though they just check and his temperature was normal and all of a sudden hes got a fever cause his stomach is hot.... so i spent 5 and a hald hours at the hospital. They didnt think it was his appendix from the start just cause he was crying of pain or anything. But they followed everything to check his appendix a ultrasound a CT scan they did swabs to check flu covid ect and those all negative the only thing is he was dehydrated from vomiting and said he had the stomach flu... which is exactly what i thought. So instead of her treating him there she rushed him out for something she easily could of treated. ​ read more

Went in with an appointment at 9:20 PM. There was maybe one other person in there. The front desk was nice and I had prefilled my forms online so all I had to do was pay. I waited about 15-20 mins to be called in and went In the back. I saw doctor Holly McIntyre one of the nurse practitioners and she was simply amazing. Great bedside manner and very good at explaining everything I needed to do and even recommended some doctors in the area for me to follow up with since I was new and didn't have a primary care. The only thing I was confused about is that the doctor said she was going to prescribe me things and had some instructions in writing but I was never given them by the front desk or the doctor. I was able to sign up for their app and get my visit notes online which was good. All in all it was a good visit and I would go again. read more

So I called the 2 closest places which also advertised x rays and got the same message. To begin with, this place fucking sucks. I'm taking a CNA class and I had to get a drug test, physical, and tb test. First of all the medical assistants here suck and don't clearly communicate. When i did my Tb they didn't tell me i had to be back before 5:30p.m. (I understand the part about 48-72 hrs) and when i did the drug test they brought me in the back with some ghetto ass storage closet that has a bathroom. Made me pee in a cup and tell me i failed because i flushed the toilet when he clearly didn't communicate. All i heard him was mumble under his mask. Scheduled an appointment for my annual physical and bloodwork. Took the time to complete their ridiculously long online form and submitted it. Got a notification that my appointment was booked. Woke up extra early, drove all the way down there, just to get told the bloodwork I needed couldn't be done. I asked why and she rather rudely replied something along the lines of "the bloodwork you require is not something we do here." I told her that online said they do, and she kinda stared at me blankly. Whatever, I walk out of there pissed because I just wasted a big chunk of my time. My wife had an appointment there scheduled later in the day, so I called her and informed her that they wont do the required bloodwork. So then my wife calls and some other lady gets on the phone and says the other nurse had no idea what she was talking about, so please reschedule. My wife reschedules me later in the day after I get off work. I then get a text from NextCare stating my appointment has been cancelled. I called and talked to yet another lady who says the FIRST lady I talked to was correct, and that they don't do the bloodwork my employer requires. WTH is going on over there? Total circus run by absolute clowns. My annual bloodwork has been done a dozen times by about a dozen different facilities. It goes off to a lab for basic results, nothing crazy. Ive never seen such incompetent people before running a "healthcare" facility. Thanks for the confusion and the complete waste of time, clowns! Never again. read more

First, I'd like to say I never like leaving reviews simply because I try to be understanding of the hard work of health care workers and many others. However, today we visited with my son who had flu/cold like symptoms and pink eye. Once we were taken into the room, they took his vitals and asked for the pharmacy information, which was given to them and verified. Finally, he was seen by the provider which said she would send over two prescriptions to the pharmacy and said that we were set to go. I personally asked if I should wait for the discharge papers and she responded, "no not unless you want them." I thought to myself, everything went well I'll just go straight to the pharmacy. I arrived to the pharmacy about 30 mins after leaving the urgent care and was told they hadn't received anything yet that I should give the urgent care a call and verify that they had sent it over. While my husband is on the line, simply trying to verify that the prescription was sent over he finds out they had sent it to a different pharmacy, completely different than the one we provided. He then asks if they can send it to the correct pharmacy that we provided and the girl who answered says, " I need the complete address so I can make the change." We give her the full address and then ask her if she can verify that they're sending two prescriptions. She then begins to be rude and says, "I have to look at the charts next time stay for the discharge papers." I responded, "the provider that we saw said we didn't have too." She puts us on wait and after ten or more minutes says it was sent over already. Mind, we still waited at the pharmacy for about 15-20 minutes after the call was over. The pharmacist then calls us to the window and tells us that they still hadn't received anything and if they had sent it like they said they did then they would have received it by now. Wouldn't be surprised if the girl whom answered the phone was most likely the same girl who was sitting at her desk eating hot Cheetos and licking her fingers when we exited. read more

I showed up 15 mins early and waited 50 minutes for my appointment. They took a person, who got there after me, before me. When I asked what was going on I was side eyed by Maria and told they would be right with me. After 50 minutes of waiting I don't expect an attitude from the staff when I nicely ask why people who had appointments after me ( my coworker, we made the appointments together and have the same insurance) got to go before me. It is ridiculous to show up so far ahead of time and have to wait after other people to be seen. Then give me an attitude. I'm not special by any means but I too work in healthcare and I too have very important things to do. Once I got to the back; it was like a whole different place. The MA was so nice and fun. The guy she was training was super cool too. It honestly changed my whole perception of this location. All in all; front end needs some customer service training.. but then again, I would imagine their job is difficult to deal with day after day. read more

Unable to draw blood or do X-Ray. This is the second time I have been to the Cave Creek location. Their answer both times was to go to the ER for non-ER related illnesses.
