I made a reservation on the Hertz app, got a confirmation number, and came to the pickup location. The staff at the desk flatly told me they had zero inventory and couldn't honor the reservation. They were also unable to cancel it, but said I wouldn't be charged a no-show fee. I was indeed charged the no-show fee, and later had to spend a long time navigating Hertz's AI-based customer service line to get it refunded. And I had to go to another place to get an actual car to rent, which I urgently needed.

I read the horrible Yelp reviews; any one who knows me knows that I always try to give businesses a fair chance and the benefit of the doubt. Beyond disappointed. My reservation was booked in advance for an 8am pick up. The hours of operation are 8am-6pm. I arrived at 8:30am, the lights were on. The doors were locked with a sloppily hand written sign stating, "If you are dropping off a car, just leave the key in the drop box with a phone number. Are you f'n kidding me? I called the number 3X. Went straight to voicemail. Left a message, no one answered. I called Hertz corporate (also very unhelpful) and eventually the employee appeared around 10am. The employee was eating a breakfast burrito, seemed unapologetic and didn't seem to care that I was stranded for almost 2 hours. Ridiculous. Do. NOT. rent. from. this. location. I repeat. Do not rent from this location.

The aesthetics of this location resembles a front operation for some shady business: stained carpeting everywhere, two chairs in the whole place for customers, no signage other than the Avis/Budget, no merchandise like boxes, packing material, etc. Despite there now being 5 customers on line now, the one attendant left to inspect the car he just rented to a customer. The attendant finally just gave up and took the keys of everyone who was dropping off the cars so we wouldn't have to wait -- an excellent call on his part -- but if it's like this regularly (from the other reviews it seems like it is) -- it gives the impression that Avis/Budget don't care about branding or customer experience (at least at this location).

I've rented various vehicles from this place including mid-size cars, to the smaller Toyota camrys of various years and colors, and even a cargo van. I needed the van last summer for when I was moving from o e apartment to another. I've never had any issue with the process of setting-up the reservation although I think the easiest way is to just call them. As for the vehicles themselves, the o es that I have rented are fairly late model cars. I think the van is from 2012. I actually noticed a new passenger van in their lot. My most recent rental was a pickup truck k. I had it for three days and it was a lot of fun. This place definitely has so e options and the cars are in decent shape and economical. I will keep coming here whenever the need arises, it's a no brainer!

(Mid sized) they promised me that it would or they would offer something larger at no additional cost. Cool. When the day finally came, They were busy. I politely declined and stood my guard and stated I needed a larger car. First, they were saying this is all they have. For a Monday morning, I found that to be unacceptable. Don't make false promises . I confirmed my reservation the Thursday before and was assured that my reservation was good. Cuz I stood on businesses. All I knew was that someone would bring me a car because I was gonna be in a dinky car. Amanda told us we had nothing else but a sports car. Ok, I didn't mind at all. The car I had was nice. It took a minute to get used to. When it came to return the car, I was sad. They offer pick up and drop off from the repair facility. All the staff here are very professional and offer excellent customer service. Amanda was great in showing me how to navigate my rental.. Assured me that the other insurance will take care of everything. It helps that there are nearby gas stations to fill up. You wanna make sure the gas is on point. Otherwise, they will charge you more. Definitely recommend this location, but make sure you have reservations and make sure your promises are being honored.

However, upon arrival, I was falsely told my insurance was invalid, despite later verifying with my provider that it was perfectly fine. Because of this, they forced me to pay a total of $860 instead of the original price. When I realized what was happening and asked to cancel the reservation altogether, the staff refused and claimed it was completely impossible to do so. To make matters worse, I have sent multiple follow-up letters and left detailed survey feedback, but the company has completely ignored all my attempts to resolve this issue. Their customer service is horrible, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid renting from Next Car.

The seats were manual adjust also. The car did well for us as we toured the country. I put 6400 miles on it in two weeks and saw many things with no issues with the vehicle. Once I provided my reservation number, the employee located it. I was given paperwork and encouraged to look for dents or scratches larger than two inches and to take photos. He apologized for the lack of stain removal. The seats had some stains. We were shown the basics on operating the car. We brought our own EZ pass to put on the car windshield. If you don't have one, Enterprise does. They charge more than the actual toll but it is still cheaper than a fine you will accrue for not paying a toll. We enjoyed the rental and having dual temperature control. When my vehicle was fixed and ready for pick up, I notified Enterprise. We didn't even have to return the car. The repair shop let us hand over the keys to the rental and just leave it on their property. That convenience was appreciate. Enterprise is across the street.
