We had a wonderful experience with Jake and his crew. They recently finished a large remodel of two…read morebathrooms, and they both turned out great. One was a small guest bathroom, and it is still small, but sharp! The other bathroom involved knocking down a wall to make a huge master bathroom, as well as a moderately large closet. Family and friends come into that bathroom and don't want to leave! My 6-year old granddaughter insisted on taking a shower in the large shower, with its beautiful tile and two full glass sides. Speaking of tile, the tile work was meticulously done, which is easy to tell. These jobs involved plumbing, electrical work, adding crawl space beams, drywall and paint -- everything. Jake and his crew also insulated and draywalled the already framed in rooms and ceiling in our garage, and added a wall Heating/cooling unit. It looks great and now my husband can work in there year-round. Finally, Jake oversaw landscapers, who completely recreated the pool area. They were amazing to watch as they laid pavers all around the pool. It will make swimming a pleasure. As part of this project, Jake and his crew built a structure -- I would call it a small pavilion -- where my husband can grill and use his Big Green Egg and be out of bad weather and be a part of the pool action. This was a professional crew. Of course, things went wrong. Nobody gets everything right the first time and unexpected things happen in every remodel. Sometimes there was confusion about supplies that weren't picked up -- a bit more organization would help that -- and a bigger crew. However, I appreciate that Jake hires qualified people and tries to pay them well. Jake was careful to keep me informed about the budget as we went along and we ended up about $4000 over -- not bad for a bid of $85,000 for the entire job. If you want a building company that does quality work and will listen to your concerns, Aarow Building is for you.

All of the jobs were done in a timely manner, within the bid range, and very beautifully done. He and his crew have excellent attention to detail, cleaned up after themselves, and even caught a flaw in the manufacturing that could have cost us a lot of money to fix down the line. I highly recommend him for any remodeling you may want done.

My family began our process towards building our custom home. Throughout the process over the last…read more8 months neither Nate or Mike came out to look at the property with us. It was all done on paper. Our first meeting was only with Nate. We made it clear to him that we wanted our basement left unfinished which supposedly was never told to Mike, who was making the estimates. We had to get rid of square feet in our plans since we were over budget which we completely understood. When we still needed to lose more it was told to us that the only way we could do that was to get rid of our second story and move those bedrooms to the basement. In the entire process we were told that it had to be "turn-key ready". We were never offered an estimate with an unfinished basement until we cut ties. In our meetings when Nate was there, he was always looking at his phone and seems preoccupied. We cut ties and moved on to another contractor who has done more for us in 2 weeks that we got in 8 months from New Beginnings. Since we left New Beginnings we have begun to hear more stories and negative thoughts about New Beginnings. Our exit meeting was full of feigning ignorance and Nate was looking at his phone more than paying attention to us. Glad we cut ties before we went any further.
