By the…read moretime I was ending my job, I decided to reach out to a painting contractor to complete the areas that were hard to reach. Shannon responded to my call immediately, was out to my house that same day to provide a free estimate, and within a couple of weeks I had everything done. Shannon and his crew (of 4-5 guys) showed up on time, ready to work. They not only painted hard-to-reach areas (including a 20 foot stairwell wall and other areas), but also took care of some long overdue items around the house (drywall work, mud & tape). They were in and out within 4 hours. All of this came at a cost that was extremely reasonable (especially compared to a contractor we used during our last paint job 9 years ago). Absolutely recommend A Touch Above Painting.

He has gotten the jobs done each time within the timeframe we wanted, and is always very pleasant to work with. We leave Shannon the keys and know we'll return to a transformed house. Shannon truly goes above and beyond. This last time he surprised us and had assembled the new fans we bought (that were still in boxes) and mounted them. When we did the final walk-through with him one of our fuses happened to blow and he helped us get it fixed. Apparently he's not only a great painter but he's also a handyman available for hire! Looking forward to use Shannon again. Would recommend him to anyone looking for honest and quality workmanship. Thank you for making our projects stress-free, Shannon! We're very pleased with the turnout.

Due to the time constraints that I had with my work schedule, they did the best job in accommodating my situation. I also had a couple of risers on the bottom two steps of the staircase that were supposedly redone by the previous owner that looked very unprofessional and was the work of a do-it-yourselfer. KC Floors did a masterful job of re-doing both the risers and the landings on both of the lower two steps. Overall, I would recommend them highly for your flooring or carpet needs. Good job guys!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! The owner, Alex, for KC Floors LLC is the epitome of a scammer. Go around and…read morelook at any of his reviews, any critical review he gets, he rebuttals it and try's to explain it away. What owner does that, unless they are trying to cover something up? He started our job bad, communicated poorly, never gave us the option to choose the type of finish on our floor...until it was already done, never finished our floor, broke our oven handle and STILL hasn't replaced it, mentioned that he "wasn't going to throw a brick through our window if we didn't pay full," constantly tries to scare you by saying "he'll put a lien on your house," and is an overall very unprofessional owner. Save your time, money, and experience. Will be surprised if he's still in business in two years.

We had a wonderful experience with Jake and his crew. They recently finished a large remodel of two…read morebathrooms, and they both turned out great. One was a small guest bathroom, and it is still small, but sharp! The other bathroom involved knocking down a wall to make a huge master bathroom, as well as a moderately large closet. Family and friends come into that bathroom and don't want to leave! My 6-year old granddaughter insisted on taking a shower in the large shower, with its beautiful tile and two full glass sides. Speaking of tile, the tile work was meticulously done, which is easy to tell. These jobs involved plumbing, electrical work, adding crawl space beams, drywall and paint -- everything. Jake and his crew also insulated and draywalled the already framed in rooms and ceiling in our garage, and added a wall Heating/cooling unit. It looks great and now my husband can work in there year-round. Finally, Jake oversaw landscapers, who completely recreated the pool area. They were amazing to watch as they laid pavers all around the pool. It will make swimming a pleasure. As part of this project, Jake and his crew built a structure -- I would call it a small pavilion -- where my husband can grill and use his Big Green Egg and be out of bad weather and be a part of the pool action. This was a professional crew. Of course, things went wrong. Nobody gets everything right the first time and unexpected things happen in every remodel. Sometimes there was confusion about supplies that weren't picked up -- a bit more organization would help that -- and a bigger crew. However, I appreciate that Jake hires qualified people and tries to pay them well. Jake was careful to keep me informed about the budget as we went along and we ended up about $4000 over -- not bad for a bid of $85,000 for the entire job. If you want a building company that does quality work and will listen to your concerns, Aarow Building is for you.
