Unfortunately they abandoned it instead, unsealed. Since Jan of 2026, I have tried to get them over here to look at my concerns to no avail. Now I am scheduled to meet them in small claims court in early June. They did not close our chimney chase according to acceptable business standards. As such I have incurred a lot of dust damage, along with drywall damage and health problems. On their owner Elias Abadi's Bio, he claims to treat customers "like family". Unfortunately, thus far, I have not seen that. If them not performing the job as they should have was bad enough. They did not even write one word on my contract, that they did "anything" with my chimney. If you choose to deal with them, get "everything" in writing, so you do not end up where I am currently at with them. If you look at some of the other one star reviews, it would seem that I am not the only one that has had to sue them to get them to do what is right . Bob B.

Examples- I went to the Continental booth at the State fair and was trying to find a hat which is free advertising for them. They had none but said my salesman could get me one. sent him an email and received a short response "I gotcha". Still no hat. I received an automated email from their president and of course you cannot respond to it. I was going to ask him for a hat. we went on vacation and when we returned we had a box from continental. I thought it was surely a hat. nope. a computer generated thank you note and a bag of cookies. no hat. we also were given a $500.00 friends and family gift card. I deemed that worthless because if you read the fine print on it you discover you must tell them about it before they give you your estimate for the project. we all know what that means. I actually have a friend quoting siding and was going to give it to them until I saw that fine print. two more points of discussion then I'll shut up. my daughter used continental for her house and were pleased. we even viewed her house during the sales presentation via online. you would think continentals referral program would come into play. The owner Larry shows up and spends ten minutes covering the hole in the roof with a sheet of plywood that I supplied. He wants $150 to do something that I could have just as easily done myself. Larry then promised that one of his employees will be by there the next day to take measurements and work up a quote to make proper repairs. NO SHOW. I wait an entire week, and during that time I go ahead and contact suppliers to get a price on the materials needed in case I have to do the job myself. After seven days I call Fortified and asked about my quote. No one has any idea that I was waiting for service. I finally get a call from Larry and he gives me a final price for the simple repair. No one had visited my home to get measurements or to ensure that they were matching the materials for the job. I did not receive a written quote for the job. The materials needed for the job cost about $55. Time to complete around 30 minutes. Given the other expenses (insurance, fuel, vehicles etc..) that Fortified has to make to stay in business there is no way that I should be billed $650. I told Larry that I thought that price was about twice what was acceptable and he hung up the phone.

They came and even used a tarp-like material to cover the damaged area so the rain and elements wouldn't get inside the attic area in the short term. They did the work a few weeks later after the roof fascia and soffit they had ordered came in. Manny's crew did a good job with the repair and one can't even tell a huge tree had smashed into the side and roof of my property. We recently had some hail and the office manager, Blanca, called to see if I wanted them to take a look, which was nice of them. I would recommend them as their price was fair and they did really good work.
