There is plenty of parking available. Check-in: We signed the waiver before arriving and brought our own Non-slip socks so Check-in is pretty easy. There are several adult and kids tables upfront. As well as a raised sitting wall with plenty of outlets. There is also seating and shoe cubbies around the play area. The staff were friendly at check-in (this was basically our only interaction with them). Play Area: This is a great option for kids of all ages. Our two-year olds had a blast in the toddler area. They had riding toys, a great ball pit, trampolines, and an awesome obstacle course. The big kids area also had a ball bit, really tall slides, and cool obstacles throughout the play place. Party Rooms: They have four party rooms, each with a unique theme. The rooms have long, kid-sized tables and countertops/cabinets for food/desserts. Adults need to stand around the kids table. The party included pizza and a caprisun for each kid. Easy peasy. Food court: They offer several food options and snacks upfront. We didn't need to use the food court during our visit, but the prices didn't look too bad and it's a convenient option. Again, we really enjoyed our visit. We would definitely go back.

If your child has dreams of playing college softball, quality instruction is invaluable, and Coach Deja is outstanding. She immediately made my daughter feel comfortable while challenging her to improve. We've also had lessons with Coach Chet and Coach Max, and my daughter has loved working with all of them. This spring was our first season on an HQ4 travel team, and it was a fantastic experience. Coach Deja and Coach Max made an incredible coaching team. We watched our girls improve with every tournament, both individually and as a team. They struck the perfect balance of holding the players accountable while encouraging and building their confidence--exactly what teenage athletes need. Each time, Coach Caleb takes the time to explain the "why" so that my son can understand the correct way to approach his swing and pitching motion. While the kids practice you can walk or run around the facility (~1 mile completely around the park). The only minor knock on the facilities is the limited bathrooms/dependence on porta-potties. However the people and the parents we've encountered at Steele Creek are all top notch and know what family/community is about. This is a great association for families. We really lucked up by moving to this area of Charlotte.

The prohibition and removal of piercings came off moralistic (as was the repetitive preaching against profanity) and less about safety and having a good time. Felt like I was back at church camp only with sniper training. Overall, it was a fun afternoon with a few round bruises as souvenirs for the next two days. Has my "Give 'em a Whirl" meter donning goggles and taking aim. Loads of fun!
