Recently we called Devin Gomez there to ask about adding a whole home humidifier to our HVAC system. He was very helpful, informative, and the estimate reasonable so we scheduled the install. It took several visits and some research to connect their humidifier to our funky HVAC system with proprietary lockdowns. But Devin communicated perfectly the entire time to explain at each step and to keep us in the loop. Toby, the installation technician, was incredible. Understand he is a new hire to Solid... what a GREAT hire THAT was. He is kind, efficient, patient, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. He answered every question we had and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the humidifier. We were comfortable and confident in the entire process.

I recently had him come out to repair a leaking toilet. It turned out to be a very minor job, took at most 5-10 mins. to do and he was already in the area at the time. After completion, he informed me his flat rate was $250 an hour but would reduce it to $125, which comes out to $25/minute. Gold Water now does not only plumbing, but heating and electrical. My advice is to do business with a person who only does work specific to your needs. Those that expand their business to include many other aspects charge more. For a person on SS, like me, it was sticker shock.

Matt checked out the leaky washer and water tank the same day I called. I had a quote within a couple days. Several days after the water tank started leaking more, Matt bumped us up on his schedule and checked in to make sure the leak wasn't getting worse. Our home is older, so each project had its own challenge. Matt was punctual, communicated clearly and cleaned up after the service was completed. Pricing was very fair.

I hired Luke Miller, owner of Altitude Renovation LLC to re-enamel my bathtub (minor enamel damage)…read moreas well as re-grout and re-caulk the tile. I also hired him to replace locks and doorknobs on 2 doors. The re-enamel work was a disaster and left my tub ruined. The caulk/grout work must all be re-done. The locks on the doors don't work properly. The neighbor downstairs sustained ceiling damage from a water leak that occured during the "repair" process. I asked for and have not received a refund (I stupidly paid in full as I was going out of town and trusted Luke to return and complete the job). I now have to replace my bathtub - it is unrepairable at this point due to pitting and other issues that occured during the removal of original enamel. The grout and caulking that he left me with is unbelievable - literally smeared on. I also have to replace the tile (tile because the old tile has to be taken out to get the tub out) and also am responsible for the repairs to my neighbors ceiling. I have tried communicating with Mr Luke Miller mulitple times and he is unresponsive. My promised refund has not arrived - it was promised 4 weeks ago. I am extremely disappointed, have lost $1,300 and have to do a major renovation now rather than the simple repairs I had hoped for. This person is completely incompetent and should not be in business.

I have used Jeff Brown at Service Pro for both furnace and water heater repairs over the past…read moreseveral years when I was renting our house out and I was in a different state. We now live in our home in Durango and our furnace went out on Sunday morning. I waited until Monday to call Jeff as it wasn't too cold out and we could use our gas fireplace. Even though Jeff had a full day planned he was able to work us in. He sent Jeremy, one of his service techs, out to diagnose the problem. Jeremy was extremely efficient, pleasant and professional and he quickly diagnosed a cracked igniter. It was Jeremy's day off but he got a new part and then delivered it to Jeff who came by at the end of the day to install it. Jeremy made sure there were no other issues before he left to get the part and Jeff made sure everything was in order before he left. Service Pro's charges were reasonable (as they always have been) and their service was very efficient. This just confirms the wok Jeff did for us when we were renting our house out. Everytime IO called him he was quick to provide service at a reasonable rate. My tenants said that he was always pleasant and professional and quickly made the required repairs to both the furnace and the water heater. We will definitely call Jeff in early fall to service our furnace each year and call him when that unavoidable issue arises.
