I called 2 days ago to ask if there was a different medication that I could be prescribed because Zepbound is out of stock everywhere. I got a call back but had more concerns and requested that NP Suwal call me back or at least answer my question and have a receptionist call me back. I was very upset and crying on the phone because after waiting 8 days for Walmart to fill the Zepbound, I started calling around to different pharmacies because they are out of stock everywhere. I drove over 4 hrs round-trip in traffic to go to a pharmacy that had it. (I called 6 of them). Well, NP Suwal didn't code my rx as diagnosis: ICD-10, therefore I could not use a coupon from Lilly.com to save me over $500. Now, this is a place that specializes in WEIGHT LOSS. Shouldn't they know to do this?? Especially since my sister had no problem with using the coupon because apparently that office knows what they are doing. So, I paid over $1000 without insurance (their office was closed and therefore couldn't have NP Suwal call that in) with a lofty $100 off with a Walgreens coupon code. I don't really believe this business cares about it's customers, just the almighty dollar.

That can be good when you are pressed for time. but a holistic approach is also appreciated if you need to get to the root of the problem and not just a bandaid approach. he wanted to get to that, he first asked about any past issues or concerns. he provided helpful tips and advice based on my history (and made lots of notes). He didn't make me feel rushed and was happy to answer questions. There was no guilt tripping or judgement. he was frank and even cost conscious on my behalf (I'd recommend this test but I'd also make sure your insurance covers). Really felt like he was looking out for me. Additionally, he keeps a small crew, just med assistant/front desk, but she was also wonderful and made scheduling my appointment really easy. And she was wonderful at drawing blood. I saw a phlebotomist three or four years ago who stuck me three times in each arm and produced nothing. yes, maybe I was dehydrated but she also seemed annoyed almost. Ummm I got stuck so many times...anyway, I digress. today's experience left nothing to be desired. I am so happy as a patient, and I highly recommend this practice. I want to shout from the rooftops--go here if you need to see a doc asap. Accepts many insurance plans. referrals needed for hmo. does not accept Obamacare or personal checks.

I always feel like I'm in a cattle line being herded to the next location, but not with Dr. Coleman. I made my appointment and went in to see her. Her office's appearance was clean and organized which is always a plus when dealing with the medical profession. I was seen within about 5 minutes of my arrival. I had my vitals checked then was immediately placed in a waiting room where I waited for Dr. Coleman for about 2 minutes. Talk about FAST Service. Her bedside manner is impeccable and she knows her stuff. Once I began discussing my issue she made me feel like she REALLY cared and was REALLY listening. She's very down to Earth and knowledgeable. I have lived in this area for 35+ years and am so sorry that I had not been to her before but I promise she will be my GP until she retires or I die. Whichever comes first. I tagged along to my friend's first appointment thinking I might go there myself, but knew immediately to steer clear based on the 8 foot ad for hormone replacement therapy in the waiting room (see pic). Endorsed with a photo of Coleman, herself, it essentially promises to take twenty years off your body. All of its statements are outlandish. It's scary that a physician would push expensive drugs with very serious potential side effects to this degree. Hormone replacement therapy is something a lot of women struggle with, and the risks are very real, and include strokes and cancer. Sometimes HRT is absolutely the best way to go, but it should only be used if medically (or mentally) necessary. In the actual exam rooms, Coleman has more ads--videos for the latest name-brand (and expensive) drugs. At the end, they all say, "Ask your doctor if you might be right for X drug." Advertising drugs directly to patients in your office by video when you haven't even seen the patient yet is a horror I've never seen anywhere else. A physician should not be under the thumb of pharmaceutical companies. It only results in inaccurate--and expensive!--prescribing. If you want a doctor who prescribes based on symptoms and what drug will most effectively and inexpensively solve the problem, do not go to Coleman.

She informed me I needed to be medically punished for conditions treated by specialists and proceeded to do so herself while refusing to communicate with my specialists. This was her way of "getting it under control." The result landed me in the hospital for 9 days. Gogineni missed BASIC vitamin deficiencies detectable in bloodwork while refusing to treat KNOWN pernicious anemia for 2 years. I now have permanent nerve damage. Her actions nearly killed me. And now, more than a year after I fired her and transferred to a different physician, her staff is harassing me and demanding I come into the office for appointments. Her desk staff train each other to administer injections and take vitals on actual patients instead of requiring the employee to undergo legitimate medical technician certification. I was one of the patients used for this training. Do not go to this doctor. Protect yourself. My medical bills from her neglect were over 10K in six months.

I stumbled upon Dr Trippel by accident when I moved back to the Leesburg area and needed a PCP that was close. She is very personable. Actually talks to me. Never seems to be in a rush . Really has spent time with me during the appointments. It's NOT an open the door, rush to look at eyes, ears, nose, mouth and listen with a stethoscope and then rush out the door. She takes the time to listen before and as well as the exam goes on. I can't say enough about her. Drs and Dentists are things I rarely if ever recommend, but Dr Trippel is the exception. Others have said things about hard times getting appointments or have had issues with staff....but I have not had that problem.
