My mom finally has some relief in her feet. Due to diabetes they have just gotten worse and worse and her Dr. did nothing. I was ready to try anything to get her some relief. I was very pleased with the office staff. (Real quick I'll leave if front office isn't on top of things) They took the time to give me a reminder call for my appointment. When we arrived they didn't just give us a clip board and shut the window. Brittany took us into a room and went over everything. * What we can realistically expect... ( honesty goes a long way ) I know it won't cure her issues she's neglected for years. But some pain relief & swelling yes. * The cost and creative ways to make it happen. * How to use the equipment , care for it, & keep track of progress to report back to Dr. Herbert for evaluation at the next appointment. * We are now at a point that mom has at least 65% of swelling gone and can walk without feeling like she had concrete buckets attached to her ankles. * Next we will be concentrating on the knees and legs. I honestly can't wait to see her progress. My purpose for writing this is in hopes that if you or someone you know is suffering without your Dr concentrating on your pain & just watching numbers from blood glucose test and sending you on your way that you call and make an appointment to see what they can do for you. I attended a free dinner seminar that promotes this facility at Applebee's, and when I asked the young lady McKenzie if they will take my insurance, she said yes that they take most insurances. Therefore, I made an appointment to go there the next day, and saw Dr Boyer, who pretty much alarmed me on the future complications with neuropathy in my feet, by saying than in a couple of years I could have my feet amputated. I felt so manipulated, especially after she did a short little sensory test, by asking me the level of different senses in my feet, cold, numbness, tingling, ect... That only took 10 minutes, and I was charged $49. I felt robbed and lied to by this doctor, on top of her assistant Lisa who was pushing me to purchase this 10,000 dollars device that shoot electricity in the water to stimulate your nerves. I almost agreed to fill out a form, when I had a check in my spirit that this place is all about gaining money, and uses manipulation to get people to pay the extravagant amount of money! It's ridiculous. I am on a fixed income, and I want to be reimbursed or I will file a complaint about false information!!! Worse feeling ever to be lied to! Repent Dr Boyer, be honest with patients, no wonder your business is not prospering, and you are desperate to get gullible patients! Not happy about this bad experience! read more

I have just started being treated at Coastal Health and I already feel the difference in my balance and daily pain! Having suffered from numbness alternating with pain, and falling several times the last few months, I can actually envision a future where I can feel my feet and walk normally again. I felt very unconfident about even coming there! I should've listened to my gut! So when y'all took a picture and said," how all the black on the end of my toes meant I would probably have to get my toes amputated" then another girl came in and took a different picture that came out totally different and said it was because the first woman took a picture of my toes & the black floor that's why they looked black. The first lady (Lisa) scared me so much that I paid the $49 for the office visit for 10 min of bs which I felt very robbed and embarrassed that I ever even fell for this! Because she told me the picture came out different after I paid the $49. There was another lady that came and took a picture of my husband's feet and she asked him to raise his toes so when I said well, she didn't ask me to raise my toes. She took a different picture of my feet! The picture came out totally different. I'm really believing you guys are nothing but scammers. I think you guys use the same pictures for everyone! Then to scare people and tell them they would probably have to get them amputated and they needed to pay the $49 to continue the Dr visit so they could find out how to save them! Then said you would only charge me $49 because I'm coming all the way from Ocala here to find out," you charge everyone that price" and said the regular price is $199. I feel like you guys are nothing but a fraud And conniving people who rip people off! I was embarrassed, humiliated after I seen you guys were wanting to charge me $7000 for a red light that would help me. I really believe you guys are about money and not really about helping people get better! Y'all scare them by telling them what's going to happen so they will pay the $49 only to tell me that you came up with a plan of $ 7000 plus for a red light! I felt like a fool, after I left there! Such a waste of my four hours and $49 would never-recommend this crooked place!!! This was a scam. First of all you said you were Free, then charging $49. In response to another review left a few days ago... Just an FYI, neuropathy is in fact a progressive diagnosis that does cause more damage to the nerves if it goes untreated to the point of amputation. I worked with many Veterans who overtime developed neuropathy and ended having to get amputations due to the DEATH of their nerves and senses. This clinic has helped many patients (some patients very close to me) prevent amputations and have provided patients with relief that NO MEDICATION can ever offer. If you're going to doctors appointments without having to pay a co-pay, please let me know and I will sign up for your insurance. The $49 covers not ONLY the exam, but the doctor's time and expertise but also the follow up visit where they OFFER a treatment plan OTHER THAN drugs to which you ARE NOT obligated to sign up for. If any patient going through the symptoms of neuropathy would like their QUALITY OF LIFE BACK please don't hesitate to visit this clinic or let the below review stop you. The staff there are very well educated on how to correct and fix neuropathy and are always looking to support and guide patients through the treatment process.
