They printed out some stretches for me to do twice a day and lightly rubbed icy hot on my neck. Useless.

Dr. Sims has a wonderful bedside manner and doesn't rush through anything; he explains your plan of care and makes you feel at ease by the time you leave. I honestly can't say enough good things!

Find another orthopedic clinic for your needs. I had a scheduled follow up to see Dr Locker today…read moreat 7:50 am. When I arrived the receptionist told me it was my mistake and the appointment was actually at 10:30, same day. I knew this was wrong but had to drive back home to retrieve the written appointment page. I was indeed correct. My appointment was scheduled three weeks earlier for 7:50 am today. I drove back to the clinic to share the information. This time the new receptionist told the truth about Dr Locker moving the morning appointments. Problem is, no one communicated that with me. I also have physical therapy scheduled with the same clinic address shown on the appointment page. At my first appointment for PT at this clinic, the receptionist told me my PT was scheduled across the street at Twin Lakes. Of course, same nonsense here; my written appointment page clearly showed the Orthopedic Clinic for PT. Of course, now I was late and had to call them to reschedule. Seriously, do yourself a big favor and choose ANY other orthopedic clinic for your needs. This place turns and churns patients like a Texas cattle ranch. You are barely a number to them. They have no respect for your time.

Dr. Ratree absolutely changed my life! If I could give 100 stars that would still be too little. I…read morewent to see her 6 weeks post psosas impingement release surgery at Mayo Clinic. She was careful to explain how she would help me strengthen my hip and increase my range of motion. She carefully reviewed each exercise and how it would help me. Her mantra was do them SLOWLY. She took pictures of my gait as I walked. I went from walking "not too normal" to almost 100% normal. She suggested what exercises I was okay to do such as walking and yoga. She showed me exercises for the Swiss ball, Bosu ball, and exercise bands as well as mat exercises. She showed me exercises to help further release my hips. I told her I had a gym at my condominium where I could continue to do these things. Amazon also likes me because everything she had used on me I purchased lol. Dr. Ratree is a very caring and sensitive person. Great one on one communication. Additionally, I got laser treatments for pain. Highly recommend that too. She is like a detective and finds that pain. I was actually sad to leave but also so grateful for her help. My range of motion on my right leg has gone from near zero to near normal, and I'm going to continue working on it. Now my husband is going to her for hamstring treatment. Her clinic is different from other PT places I have experienced because it is not someone trying to just get you through a routine. I found her explanations very motivating. Thank you for all you do, Dr. Ratree. You rock!

He is doing awesome…read moresince the surgery Jan. 2nd 2018 Dr Ratree discusses his medical conditions and the medications that he is taking. She asks about his eating habits. Thankfully, she advises him on better and more healthy nutrition. The exercises are clearly explained and demonstrated on what he should be doing for re-hab. Dr Ratree had him doing the exercises at her facility which he also had to do at home. She clearly explains what the exercises do for improving better mobility. I highly recommend this Physical Therapist! Barbara and Bill

Besides giving me info on another patient (confidential info) and treating me as that patient-…read morenotice these good reviews are from years ago. This place has gone downhill. literally and physically. the place looks like sh** One (or two) of the worst experiences in my life. I've been to several awesome PTs in Florida. One retired, one moved out of the area and one is Progressive therapy. Upon my first visit I waited WEEKS even though I had multiple fractures (seems like it's near impossible to get into get an eval which other places all got me in next day) So I start with my eval only to find they are treating me as the WRONG PERSON. The woman at the front desk (I won't even get started about her) gave the doctor the wrong profile and he's treating me as this lady. Then tells me the info about that lady as he thought she was me, so I'm told that's so not HIPAA compliant. THEN, I still let all that horrid unacceptable crap go because i need a PT so badly but they pull the ole bait and switch. Woman lied on the phone stating i could see a PT (i said NO PTAs) They just have a guy there who ONLY does evals and then they tried dumping me on an assistant (no can do and i don't recommend clinics who use PTAs as your or your insurance pay same as PT and it's BS) My body work massage therapist knows more than most assistants to PTs. So Charlie said I'd have to see a PT and he'd over see it though Nope. I don't fall for that and any good PT clinic won't even use PTs i am told by the best (I work in medical field) So then, I vow to never go back. BUT my trainer's bf is the guy who JUSt does evals there and that's it. So I need go to see him so he can tell her what exercises i can and cannot do. I ask if i can see him outside there like at my HOUSE but i guess that is not an option. So i go back. 2 year later. reluctantly, but think how bad can it be? They treat me as another patient? They are on the corner of hand ave and clyde morris in a total ghetto looking building Problem is Hand Ave is closed with a total road block and detour. I'm 15 mins late. i try and call but no answer like usual. So I walk in about 15 after and have to wait because like usual, there is a line at the front (which is rare and I've been to a dozen PT offices in my life easy) This one is slow and just bad. where these good reviews come from just blows my mind unless you like waiting and assistants at PT prices lol (good luck with your injuries) So then finally it's MY turn and it's now 320 or so. She says he left 10 mins ago at 10 after as he had to be waaaay across town by 4 for another appointment Now that's funny - how could that be if he was supposed to see mE from 3 to 4 at their clinic. No response from the rude lady I said did you call me to say he was LEAVING? She said no she had NO name for me and just had "mystery patient" written down. My assistant gave her ALL my info and she told her she had my chart etc. More lies? Or did she lie to me? OR??? Needless to say i walked out and still don't know how to see my trainer's boyfriend and am ready for a plan B. I am a health medical journalist and had an all paid trip to mexico free this week but skipped it because i wanted a game plan so badly from my trainer's bf who i figured along w her could help me get better, faster. (I work on television and need to be in shape and get injuries fixed- 3 fractures still healing and a tear). So i'll keep you updated but since he left 10 mins or so after i was supposed to be there (they know damn well road is closed) I'll ask he PLEASE see me somewhere else. Back when I got screwed over by Charlie before i asked for my money back as i was promised to see a PT (i've NEVER asked for money back) and of course he refused. I run one of the top 20 health sites in the world and have just because my series on "sorry charlie- why you're by the far the shoddiest excuse of a PT (oops is that pt ASSISTANT office? In FLoriduhh) E

After telling him I wasn't sure I knew how to 'pee' properly any more because I was in so much pain, he sent me across the street to have my pelvis floor/muscles evaluated. Thank goodness he did because Jill was very thorough and started me on a biofeedback/ therapy regimen - first in the office then on my own. After only a few months my pain went away and I've been fine ever since! I really feel like she saved my life because I was miserable for over a year with terrible pain that I'd seen a few Dr's for. She is truly an awesome person who is driven to help women.
