Yet, I still feel reassured that TD will take care of everything as they had in the past for me. Many times this week calling into the centre with questions about my auto and home policies, have not been on hold for more than a minute. Great customer service over the phone (especially during daytime hours). Had a claim in 2017 and the TD Insurance Auto Centre was new at that time. Wonderful idea! One stop to meet with an adjustor, vehicle repair, and rental. All in one building, all in one place. An experience that was hassle free, stress free and one of the reasons that keeps me from leaving this insurance company. Though I still think its a good idea to price compare/ service compare for the best value for your money, I think from my own experience it is a good reputable company to be with. However, when I got my first email reminding me that a payment would be due: I asked my agent to come to my home, at her schedule, to review and explain coverage - she would not after inheriting our account when the previous rep left, and basically, doing nothing. I left a review accordingly on their dealer - LINK INSURANCE in Calgary - site to share her unwillingness to meet ~ in other words, do her job. We researched several other insurers and found someone for $1000 less a year or $100 per month. Apparently, their apathy campaign isn't working. It made me apathetic to remain loyal.

I was with MORGEX INSURANCE ALBERTA for 12 yrs but I switched over to another company in 2022. That company had to get a verbal confirmation on my drivers history from MORGEX / UNIFUND in order to prove my driving record was good and covered when I switched. But the company I am with made changes to their policies and no longer uses verbal confirmations, but require physical proof of history. I was informed by my current insurance provider that Morgex DID NOT SUBMIT my driving history over those 12 yrs. Belairdirect insurance took over Morgex and has no way of accessing my info. They told me I could submit a complaint which I did and a manager or someone would reach out. BUT STILL NO FOLLOW UP AFTER 2 WEEKS. So I'm screwed unless I find a way to prove I was covered for those 12 yrs. Do yourself a favor AND NEVER USE BELAIRDIRECTS services. There is other companies out there that are better. They don't even have a physical address because the lady on the phone told me they do everything over the phone or online (virtually). So you can't even go directly to a place to have your situation addressed. If I could I would have rated them a negative number as opposed to giving them a 1 star.

Seeing as we were in the area we decided to stop in the office and take care of the change to insurance. We learned Kerishea was not in the office that day so another account manager Danielle Stephenson stepped in to help us out. Danielle was very approachable and professional. She was able to make the necessary changes to our policy and provide new insurance cards so we could register our new vehicle. We received full coverage on a new 2022 vehicle with a minor increase to our premiums. If we were not impressed enough, I noticed Karishea had responded to my email and was ready to take care of us even though she was not in the office. It should not have come as a surprise as Karishea has always been very good with us. It was clear we are in awesome hands with all of the excellent, knowledgeable staff at Armour Insurance.

To my excitement, they ended up being a bit cheaper than what I was paying so I decided to make the switch. Over the last couple of years I have been with Johnson, and I have continued my tradition of shopping around for insurance yearly. However, ever since switching to Johnson, I haven't been able to find a cheaper rate. I have even had a broker check around for me only to come back and tell me they cannot find a cheaper (yet comparable) policy for me with any other company. he told me that he had no clue as to how I am getting such a good rate for the coverage I am getting. The service I have received has always been great. I can touch base with my broker through email, and she is always quick to get back to me when needed. She always makes the process extremely easy. The cherry on top of all this is that they recently partnered with Airmiles. So I can now collect Airmiles every time I make an insurance payment - HOORAY!!!
