FULL EXPERIENCE HERE: https://youtu.be/0r_lof_l5XU I'm a bit behind the trend and haven't had a chance to experience new therapies after 2019. I saw this service on Groupon and gave it a shot without hesitation or research for a new experience. Booking: fast, simple with either call or online. Great communication and instructions. In the beginning, it was a little bit challenging and hard to focus since we have lots of stress in life, but after 5 mins, I was able to adjust slowly and relax. I can't wait for the second time next week!

Love this place. Very clean, towels, rain shower head, and complete darkness with good floatation. The first time I went I did it in the morning and still had moments of sleep while in my hour session. They clean the tanks through a filtration system after everyone's session. I'll be back!

Real intimate setting. The owner showed me around and got me all set. Clean and sanitary. I felt like I was the first to use the tank!

Ask the Community - Newport Float Therapy

Is their magnesium in your float bath?

Yes, our epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) is rich in magnesium.

What are you supposed to wear? Do you shower there or shower before arriving?

Hey there. Nothing. Just take a shower and jump in!

    What is the reflection float?

Hey there. We just have names on the rooms. No difference. Only issue is height. If you are over 6 feet, book the tranquility or Reflection tank A’s they are slightly bigger!

If I get claustrophobic is this experience not for me? I'm not gonna lie, some of these pictures creep me out.

Not really. You can bring a floating light and keep door cracked. It’s like a big bathtub that is 7 feet tall. As long as you have light and clear vision to door it’s not an issue!

How deep is the water? I want to bring my mom and she is on the bigger side and I am worried she might touch the bottom, which would ruin her experience I think. I've never done this either so I dont know how much the salt helps you float.

It’s about 14 inches. I guarantee she will float above bottom with no problem!!

    Is it appropriate to tip?

I never feel comfortable walking away when someone has to clean, tidy up after me or deal with my used towels, empty trash I've left behind ( earplugs, tissues, etc.). Sure they didn't cut your hair or serve you food, yet!- Even if its just a… Read more

Beginner or not, this is a great space to relive some stress, tap into your inner peace, and meet others that are also interested in self exploration. What a gem in Costa Mesa, providing the public with free meditation classes (donations are always welcome!). Gil and Marilyn are SO welcoming, and somehow manage to remember everyones names. The first time I came in was by myself for the Wednesday night group practice led by Gil. The next time I came in was with my cousin, who had no prior meditation experience at all, and she loved it. I randomly found this place online when I was looking to get back into meditation a few months after I completed a Vipassana course. Although Shambhala is different, the 7:00pm class opens with an introduction and instruction to approaching this style of meditation. Note that the space itself is *behind* the Coco's. If you're facing the restaurant, to left you'll find a hall that you pass through. Make a turn towards the salon and you'll find the Meditation Center. The space is warm and clean, be sure to check in with Marilyn or Sepi at the front desk to say that you're new. You take off your shoes (you might want to wear socks) and enter the meditation hall closed off by silkscreen doors. No need to bring pillows or a bloc as very comfortable ones are already provided for you. For those who have trouble sitting cross legged or kneeling on the floor, there are three ample rows of chairs behind the floor seating. The temperature is mild--I wore a jean jacket with a t-shirt underneath and was comfortable the whole session. After practicing two sets of walking and sitting meditation, the class sat in a circle and read a chapter from The Lost Art of Good Conversation, by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. The discussion that followed provides an excellent connection between how the physical and mental exercise of meditation translates to our everyday lives. You have nothing to lose by dropping in. I hope to provide an updated review after attending one of their Saturday sessions or courses. For a fee, they have really cool contemplative arts seminars. I wanted to sign up for the Ikebana course, the study and practice of flower arranging, but they ran out of space! The best way to keep up with its events is by following its Meetup page.

Aiden is truly a gift to this universe and I cannot say enough amazing things about him and how he has helped not only me but so many people. Attending one of his retreats was one of the most eye-opening experiences I've had in a long time. I walked away with more tools than I expected -- truly worth every penny -- but what made it invaluable was having the space to actually experience those tools in my body, guided so skillfully the entire way. My biggest takeaway from the day was realizing that your body can actually be a safe place. Developing a relationship with yourself internally is so different from what we casually call "self-care." It's about sitting with your feelings instead of avoiding them. That shift alone changed something in me. This experience didn't end when the retreat did. I left wanting to go deeper -- and I am. That alone says everything. I truly think that everyone should attend this event and you are guaranteed to leave feeling different and more enlightened.

This workshop taught me how to take proactive steps to improve that connection. I gained invaluable, actionable skills such as acupressure paired with elemental oils, meditation, and Neuro Emotional Therapy (NET). This workshop is an act of self-care, it supports self-exploration by identifying, understanding, and releasing feelings that often carries with them tension, leading to inflammation, flares, or other medical conditions. Learning to "process" feelings means allowing them to move through you rather than getting stuck in you. True wellness rarely comes from treating just one part of ourselves. The tools and strategies I learned in the Embodiment Workshop will likely continue to yield results the more I practice them. It is wonderful that Aiden is teaching others how to invest in long-term health and self-understanding.

Whether you're new to working out or have been training for years, this gym makes it easy to feel comfortable and motivated. The staff is always friendly and professional. They greet you with a smile, keep the facility spotless, and are quick to help if you ever have a question about the equipment or your membership. I've noticed how consistently clean everything is -- the locker rooms, restrooms, and workout areas are always well maintained, which makes a big difference. The gym layout is great: there's plenty of space between machines, and I've never had to wait long for equipment, even during busier hours. The cardio section is huge, with rows of treadmills, bikes, and ellipticals. The strength-training area has a wide variety of machines and free weights perfect for all fitness levels. I also appreciate the HydroMassage beds and Total Body Enhancement booths -- amazing perks that make recovery feel luxurious! Another thing I really like is the 24-hour access at many locations. It's convenient for anyone with a busy schedule, and the membership prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. The Black Card membership is totally worth it if you like traveling or visiting different locations -- it gives you flexibility, guest privileges, and extra amenities. What sets Planet Fitness apart is the culture -- it's genuinely a judgment-free zone. Everyone is focused on their own goals, and the staff encourages a positive, respectful environment. It's the perfect place for beginners who might feel intimidated at other gyms, as well as for regulars who want a clean, friendly, and affordable fitness space. If you're looking for a gym that combines cleanliness, great equipment, friendly staff, affordable memberships, and a motivating atmosphere, Planet Fitness is definitely the place to be.
