I wish this wasn't located where it is as I'll probably never be there again and don't like driving in that area but the whole story seemed nice and very reminiscent of a ralphs/safeway/kroger with nice staff as well. But the faygo was certainly the most important thing and the only thing I was there to buy so I can't comment too fully on the rest.

My favorite type of wine is Albariño, it is a white wine native to Portugal (where it is known as Alvarinho) and Northwestern Spanish region of Galicia. For those reading and interested, this is the taste profile according to The Spruce Eats: "Albariño is a dry white wine with aromas of citrus and peach. On the palate, the wine can exhibit characteristics of grapefruit, lemon peel, apricot, and sweet melon. Because the grapes tend to grow in coastal regions, they can also have a touch of salinity. Some wines may exhibit a slightly bitter finish, similar to citrus pith. Overall, albariño is light-bodied and low in tannins but high in acid. The high acidity makes this wine refreshingly mouth-watering and best served well-chilled." I used to have it quite often when I lived in Miami, but had become a difficult thing to find up here. I was in the past able to order a number of them through a local liquor store near my house, but that sometimes required large minimum orders and that can be a bit of a pain. When I first walked in, I was greeted by soemoen working--always a nice touch especially when I was looking for something specific for my mom. The man was super helpful, and after finding what I needed, I decided to check out the rest of the space. They have a staggering selection of wines and beers compared to many other places I've visited in Fort Wayne. And the selection in the place had many options that were locally sourced from Indiana, which is great if you're looking for new options made in the area! They had almost 2 fridge sections of just Indiana/Fort Wayne beers, which I love trying when I'm home from California. After picking out a local beer (Taxman), I wandered closer to the check out counter to find a tasting area! The man behind the tasting area said they are open everyday for tasting, and he also asked what I liked--and I ended up trying a limited edition Don Julio that had been aged in Scotch Barrels. It was fabulous and I would have never ever know this existed without his help! Loved my experience here and I can't wait to go back to try out more local options!

Not a liquor store as they definitely sell beer but not liquor. It also sells soda, milk and other sundry items. Service is quick, as it essentially is a drive thru. You just pull in, tell the attendants what you need, they load your car and you pay. This is great especially in the winter, when you certainly do not want to get out of your car!

She Never even cracked a smile and refused to sell me beer and wine because my ID is expired. I'm 37!!! My kids are super cute and sweet and we all were trying to be friendly but, she was very short and cold. I hope she doesn't think she's the only party store in town or, maybe she doesn't even care. Either way, never going again or recommending them to anyone. Ever.
