The room itself was nice, clean, and comfortable. You need to register your vehicle if you park in their car park. Their restaurant and bar and great. I had the steak with peppercorn sauce and it was tasty. They offered local brews and scotch. You need to make a reservation with the restaurant as it can get full quickly. The room itself is more noisy as it is closer to the tracks. I wouldn't stay here again due to temperature, unable to keep windows open, no AC, and how loud the railway is. But it was cute.

We stayed one night at the Bridge Inn Ratho in the Baird Room- an adorable room with two cozy twin…read morebeds, and an old fashioned claw foot bathtub (No shower-but they provide all the bath products to entice you to relax in the tub!) The Bridge Inn overlooks the Union Canal, and we could watch the canal boats tie up outside our window for the night with boaters on their way to the pub. The pub on site is excellent-and we decided to have a nice dinner at the Inn, and it was wonderful! We ordered the steak dinner, and the chicken with leeks dinner-both perfectly prepared! Don't worry about being too full for dessert-they have a "mini dessert" menu with smaller portion sizes to try, we had the sticky toffee pudding-so good! Breakfast is provided in the dining room offering every option to tempt you from healthy oats and yogurt, to French toast with local made fruit compote (my favorite!). As our stay was right before the holidays, they had their Holiday Event Menu out for 2023 with special events for New Years and Breakfast with Santa for the little ones.
