We had met with a half dozen other firms regarding replacement of a deteriorated, timber-lined hillside path to the lakefront. There were significant challenges due to slope, established trees, and limited site access. We also wanted the new path to be integrated and consistent with the existing landscape. At our initial meeting with Joe, we were impressed by his enthusiasm, creativity, and attention to details. We worked with him for about six months to refine the design, address permitting issues and select materials. Joe was always responsive to requests, offered constructive recommendations and enhanced the project design. Beyond replacing the path, we added a patio and seating area. The project took four weeks to complete in the fall of 2023. Joe's crew was exemplary - they were talented craftsmen - expert hardscape installers who worked hard all day and were mindful of neighbors' concerns - which were very few. Did an excellent job at removing my tree but they ended up breaking my sidewalk and the person…read moreremoving the tree said eco would take of it but WHEN I called them they said they would see what they could do. No response from them. When I call them they say someone will reach out to me. Again no response. Stump still in ground said grinder is broken. Also, asked them if they could plant another tree at the same time when they put the replacement tree. Still no response. Have called and all they do is put me on hold and say someone will call. Haven't heard from anyone yet.
