I just want to say that Slater and his crew really know their work! They were on time, The equipment was in great shape. He had the correct climbing gear for trimming branches high up in those trees. When they arrived, Slater discussed the job with us that they were going to do. Him & his crew were very meticulous about the work that was performed on our property. They were careful driving on our lawn, cutting down and cleaning up branches and large hunks of wood, also did a good job removing the stumps and cleaned up all the mulch, as well as replacing black dirt in the holes where the stumps had been removed! They also reseeded & mulched with straw. We had grass growing within a week and a half, and now you cannot even tell there were trees in those spots. Their response time is dismal and their "answering service" is horrible. Finally when they did come out they suggested pruning and the sales representative (William) discussed trimming any branches (no matter how high) so that there were no branches over our roof. He sent through the proposal and we signed. Then when the team came (several weeks later with only 1 day notice) they were very unprofessional. They asked my husband to sign their sheet before the job was complete and then didn't remove the high branches. I called back 3 times and finally got in touch with William. He was not apologetic and said that I had misunderstood him. Jim, a foreman, came back to the house to discuss it with me and he was very kind and promised they would resolve the issue. When they came back I wasn't home and they did cut off a few of the higher branches but I still don't feel that it was worth the price or what William had promised me in the initial discussion. At this point there was nothing to do but pay the invoice which I did. I will never use them again. The whole experience was a mess.

Last month we noticed something going on with it. They came out and let us know that the tree was suffering from a red maple fungus, it was very severe and not going to get better. They came back, took the tree down for us, and thank goodness they did. The tree was rotting all the way through and all the way to the roots.
