First time trying this pizza spot and I called in my order. I ordered a large pie and buffalo wings. The pizza was very good and not overly toasted or burnt like many surrounding pizza spots do in an effort to glorify it coal fired. The chicken wings were very good in flavor and the mild sauce was not too spicy to perfection. The staff were very friendly on the phone taking my order and in person. The place has tables to dine in and the good thing is they are open till 10pm unlike surrounding pizzerias. Overall super positive experience and will be going back! read more

Extremely disappointed! when my food arrived, the sauce from my pasta dish was dripping through the bag. as a result the pasta was dry and I ended up having to make my own sauce. The garlic bread was inedible. it was not crispy at all and had a weird taste. There was unfortunately nothing good to say about the food. I haven't ordered from New World since Covid, but this was not at all what it used to be. It literally was money down the drain read more

This is our favorite pizza in the area! We are born and raised in jersey, so we like good pizza! The thinner crust that is just the right amount of crisp is mouth watering. We have tried their wings, and they are fine. Nothing spectacular, but we have ordered them a few times. I wish they were a little bit crispier, but the Buffalo sauce is very good. We have also ordered their caprese salad which is very good. I really love how it is loaded with thick cut tomatoes and tons of basil. It is not cheap pizza, a plain pie is reasonable but once you add a topping it can get pricey. However I think it is worth it. They also deliver, and we never have to wait more than 45-60 mins max. The longer waits are Friday or Saturday nights (expected.) Needless to say we will continue to order here for ourselves and for our get togethers. We love New World! read more

Pizza is good. Antipasto salad is the worst I have ever seen. We usually just get the pizza. We will stick with just that from now on. read more

I'm going to keep it brief because it's time for bed. ... When I have hot soup I feel very ODD - Over Do Dangit. I can't explain it, but it's almost as if my 37 years of sobriety have gone down the drain! On soup! Anyway, I had a "Stromboli" and dipped it in hot soup. By that I mean a nice madinad. (MARY-Nara) sauce. Sauce! That did it. Many tears now roll down my doughy cheeks as I reap the benefits of a slip. One man's slip is another man's dip. Dip the Stromboli. Thank you read more

I went to New World Pizza, I ordered a Hawaiian pizza. I had a coupon for like three dollars off, thought I was getting a pretty good deal. Turns out the pizza was like $37. Pizza was OK, but $37?!there's no gram ever paying for a pizza for that price again. Also, they're individual slices or about $3.50 each for a plain slice! Way too expensive. Probably will never go back here again. read more

Ordered online they delivered my pizza and left it outside in the rain. I was in my living room the entire time with the exception of maybe going into my bedroom for a minute they didn't call or anything. New World lost our business of 6 years today. I ordered delivery of a small cheese pizza (smaller than our usual order), they explained that the delivery order should be a minimum of $15. I said 'no problem', and agreed to the upgrade of a large ($14.95) even though we didn't need it. I could then hear a discussion which was presumably her manager and she then came back on the line and told me I needed to order something else, perhaps garlic sticks. I was quite disappointed tbh as I agreed to their first upgrade and felt they displayed a lack of respect for the customer. I declined their suggestion, cancelled the order and made a mental note to never order delivery or pick-up from New World again. We ordered from Beniamos Cucina in the SR plaza instead and made a great choice in doing so. read more

I went here with 3 of my friends yesterday for lunch. The staff was welcoming, and they even brought the pizza right to us since we had sat down, which I thought was nice because most pizza places you have to go up and get it from the counter when it's done. The place seemed clean, too, so that was nice. I thought it was cool that they had both thick and thin crust slices. The reason for me giving four stars instead of five is because the amount of options for thin (normal NY style) crust was very limited. If you wanted the deep dish one, they had tons of options (Hawaiian, bbq, veggie, margarita, bruschetta, etc.) But since I wanted normal crust, I was limited to three options: margarita, pepperoni, or mushroom. I love mushroom so it wasn't a problem, but I would have preferred a veggie one so it was just noticeable how few options there were for normal slices. In terms of taste, I will say that I was quite impressed. The bottom was crispy but the base was actually very doughy even though my slice was thin crusted. And the doughyness was delicious. The cheese-sauce-mushroom ratio was perfect, and they were generous with the mushrooms. All in all, I would definitely go back, and I'd definitely recommend it to a friend. read more

My in laws were talking about how this is their favorite pizza and were raving about it, but I think a lot of it was due to having fond memories of it when they used to go more frequently when they lived closer. I wasn't really sure what I was expecting, but I really didn't think it was anything special. I got a slice of mushroom and a slice of what looked like barbecue chicken but the cashier said that it was chipotle chicken. I'm not exactly sure what the price came out to as my in laws were the ones that paid for the meal, but I suspect for two slices it was somewhere between $6-$9. The mushroom slice has fresh mushrooms which I prefer as opposed to canned mushrooms. I thought it was an average sized slice, but not big by any means. The chipotle chicken one was thicker, but also shorter so I think they both average to be around the same size. Flavor wise, I thought that I was also pretty average. There was nothing spectacular about the sauce or toppings on the mushroom. There was a chipotle/barbecue sauce on the chicken slice which added a nice sweetness, but it was a little on the too sweet side. Texture wise it was okay, crispy bottom, not soggy and a bit chewy which is what I want for a pizza crust. The place is pretty small and they have a handful of small tables. I'm not sure how busy they get, but if there were more than 3 different groups of people it could get crowded fast especially near where you order which is right inside as soon as you open the door. The girl working at the register was pretty nice and aside from the size the inside was pretty well kept. All in all, I had a pretty average experience here. I won't be back because I don't live near the area, but if I did I don't think I would choose this place first... read more

We were very good customers ordering an average of 4 pizza pies per week (over $200/mo). At least double that when you include orders from friends/neighbors in the area when we all get together. However, I didn't leave a tip for the driver because the delivery was 20 minutes LATE and the PIZZA WAS COLD. The driver said if I didn't tip him he would no longer come back. I said I leave tips when the pizza is delivered on time and is hot. I called and spoke to the owner and explained the situation. He remarked, "late or not the driver depends on tips." SAD! I rehab apartment buildings for a living. If I build a house and don't finish on time I would eat those costs. Thats why we finish on time. That's business. New World Pizza LOST OUR BUSINESS because they treat their customers poorly and don't deliver on time. Why did they ever have our business in the first place? It was convenient in that they deliver. But with Uber Eats, Door Dash and whole host of delivery services that are available to anyone of us today we have options. We have a bunch of people coming over tonight. If everyone decides on pizza we'll order from Joe's Pizza and either pick it up or have it delivered with DoorDash! PS: I'm leaving 1 star but I'd leave a negative star review if it were possible. WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM NEW WORLD PIZZA. read more

I read a number of positive reviews and while traveling home from hiking, we eagerly stopped in for a few slices. Looking at the different pies, the first thing we noticed was the toppings looked cheap. None of the pies looked that appetizing, but we were very hungry so we took a chance. I had 1 sausage slice and 1 grandma slice. My girlfriend ordered 1 white veggie and 1 mushroom. We sat down and waited and it was very uncomfortable as the heat was set very high, it felt like it was about 80 degrees. The slices took about 5 minutes and we began eating them with a lot of enthusiasm. Even after being in the oven, all of our slices were warm, not close to being hot. The only slices that wasn't half bad was my grandma slice, if it was hot, I think it would have been very good. With all of the great pizzeria's around, this is an easy one to pass on. read more

Scammer alert! Wouldn't even give 1 star if it was possible. I ordered a large tuna cheese sub. The posted menu (pictured) said this would be 9.25, so I was surprised when the guy rang it up for 13.45. I did a double take on the menu and asked the guy why it was so much--the increase was clearly more than just tax. He told me "we've updated our prices, they haven't changed it there yet," gesturing to the menu. I expressed politely but firmly that I didn't feel this was right, it needs to be updated on the menu before just changing it in the register--how can somebody make decisions based on incorrect pricing? (I wouldn't have even ordered the large at that price.) The guy then shot back that it was a $3 extra charge for cheese, totally changing his story. I did a triple take on the menu and pointed out that it says cheese in the sandwich description. The guy pretty much ignored me at this point, handing me my sandwich over and saying "thank you very much" in a dismissive way. Normally I would ask for a refund on principle after this horrible experience, but I was on a tight schedule and actually needed a sandwich for the day so I had to just chalk it up as a $3 lesson learned--always check the yelp reviews first! I'd normally steer clear of a 3 star place if I could help it, and that's definitely way more than they even deserve. Steer clear of these fraudsters and save yourself some frustration! (Oh yeah, and the sandwich was pretty weak--only a few shreds of lettuce, tuna that contained minced onion when they'd specifically told me it didn't, and tiny slivers of cheese that apparently justified the exorbitant, menu-defying uncharge! I bet the person a few reviews below complaining about a gluten reaction was given food that just straight up contained gluten, based on the attitude I saw at work here.) read more

My brothers and I ordered plain and eggplant pizza as well as garlic knots and pepperoni roll. I was very satisfied with this meal, and specifically with the eggplant slice. Had their pizza last night, we also like the chicken cutlet sandwich, the pepper and egg sandwich, their salads are great their pasta is good. This is a pretty good pizza joint when you consider its location in Jersey. I'm in skillman for work a lot and always pass this place. There's not much option as Food is concerned so when that's the case it's usually hit or miss. The two slices I had were definitely good. They also had a good drink selection. The place was fairly clean even for a busy dinner rush. They also had out sample garlic knots which were pretty spectacular. I kept on having to go back for more. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak pizza and a white slice. Usually when I order a thicker piece of pizza with a thin one they burn the thin one. New World did not do that. The white slice came out perfectly brown just the way I like it. I'm a big cheesesteak guy so when I saw they had a cheesesteak pizza I had to get it. So if everything was so good why minus the star you may ask. As I said I'm a big cheesesteak fan. I must add that I'm not a huge peppers fan so maybe that's why but the peppers in this slice were off. I think they may have been too big. I usually don't mind them but they really stood out in this slice. As far as drinks they seemed to have a "healthier" selection in that at least the peach tea I had had cane sugar in it versus high fructose corn syrup. I hate that stuff. read more

tl; dr: They gave me the wrong pizza, proceeded to blame it on me, and were completely obnoxious about fixing it, even refusing to at first. This is after they kept my mother waiting for the order for a good half hour or more while the pizza was in the "keep warm" oven without saying anything (sorry for the wait, etc). So, not going back. No point. It should have been a no big deal, instead of a huge dramatic ordeal. If you are in Montgomery, there are better pizza places with much better people, like Rodolfo's, for one. If I could, I would give them zero stars. I wanted to frequent here because it is a family owned business, and I really like to support local businesses. I called in a pick up order for a bbq chicken pizza. They estimated about 10-15 minutes. When my mother arrived to pick it up 20 minutes later, they said it still wasn't ready yet. Not to worry, she pays for it at the counter and then waits...and waits...and waits...and waits....a long time goes by (at least half hour) and eventually, someone asks what she is waiting for and she again says she's waiting for my order. They go into the "keep warm" oven and pull the pizza out. Mistakes happen. When she got home, we realized we were given buffalo chicken instead of bbq. Normally, if there is an error in an order of mine, and if I can eat it, I try to keep it. But spicy foods make me sick. My feeling: mistakes happen, no biggie. But we had already driven out there once, and to make a second trip doesn't make much sense. So my mom and I agree that we'll call back, and give the delivery driver $5 tip for the delivery. I call New World and the conversation goes like this, Me: "Hi, I ordered a pick up order with you tonight for bbq chicken. We just got home and opened the pizza and noticed its buffalo-- any chance you can please deliver the correct order to us?" Response: "It's because you ordered it wrong. I heard the guy with your order and you ordered it wrong." Considering the fact that it is Friday and there are a ton of orders going in and out, I'm amazed that he should think that he remembers MY order, especially when he did not take it. Me: "I'm positive I ordered bbq chicken. In fact, if you look at the last few orders I've had with you, they are the same order as the one I gave tonight." Response: "I want to look it up. Give me your information" After looking it up, some disgruntled silence. "Fine, I can remake the pizza. But you ordered it wrong." Me: "And you can have it sent over with a delivery driver?" Response: "No. You were a pick up order. You have to come back." Me: "We've already picked up a pizza. It would be great if you could send a delivery driver to help make this right." Response: "You'll have to make sure to TIP the driver. You screwed up, so you have to make sure to TIP the driver if I send one." Me: "I'm sorry, but that is completely obnoxious to say. I'm calling you because you gave me the wrong order, and as your customer, I was asking for you to simply make it right. Ordering me to tip the delivery driver is obnoxious." Response: "Well they have other deliveries." Me: "Ok, I can wait. How long?" Response: "I'm not going to send them. You have to come in." So fine, we go back to pick up the pizza. Mom walks in to pick up the pizza, and the guy is like "So you know, your daughter screwed up the order." Yes, they CONTINUED to be horrible about it. They also tried to blame being horrible on their boss by saying they only do what their boss tells them to do. They then tried to ask for the other pizza. When she said they didn't have it, another issue. Finally, my mother simply said, "We threw it away, we couldn't eat it, and why would I deliver the pizza to you after you refused to extend the same courtesy?" So, not going back. No point. It should have been a no big deal, instead of a huge dramatic ordeal. If you are in Montgomery, there are better pizza places with much better people, like Rodolfo's, for one. read more

The two stars are for the shoddy service. Last weekend, I called New World Pizza at 5pm and ordered a pizza to be ready for 6:10pm. Plenty of time for an advance order, I thought. At 6:10pm, I walked into the restaurant and yes, they said, my pizza would be right there. They took my money and I sat there. Almost twenty minutes later, I got it. Where to start... The place where I work have ordered from there multiple times unfortunately, always giving them a second chance. Don't order there and expect to pay the amount they tell you, there are hidden fees and the prices of items ordered change day to day. We kept on getting charged these "delivery fees" or 1.50 for a tiny packet of hot sauce and the receipt never has the items prices even with a corporate order. Really?! The service is bad, they mess up your item even if you give them clear and concise directions and I promise, this wasn't a one time "bad day" kind of thing, I almost started to expect something being wrong in the order. The food is good that is why we used to continue ordering from there but who can really mess up a Calzone. They are not getting my business again and I wish you luck if you order from them. Only local pizza place that delivers. Pizza is edible but not great. Rather drive the 2 miles into Hopewell for Antimos. Dinners are ok, sandwiches are ok (cheessteak is good) but the sauce on pizza and dinners has very little flavor. Staff is very friendly and so are the delivery folks. CHECK ALL ITEMS ARE IN CARRYOUT ORDER!!! Food is good but some items are very overpriced (salads in particular). I ordered carryout this evening- 2 items- pepperoni roll and a sandwich. Called them and the guy I talked to offered no apology nor did he offer to deliver the item. I had to ask for a credit which he tried to give me for my next visit. Why would I be OK paying for something I didn't get? Terrible driver, tail gates people in front of them. Couldn't see the headlights of their drivers car, while doing the speed limit.

This is our go to local pizza place. Have them on speed dial. One of few places that delivers in the area which makes a difference. Other items which we enjoy are the chicken parm, eggplant parm and meatball subs. Wings are good as well as the garlic knots. Have also order the chicken francese, eggplant rollentini for larger parties and gotten many complements.
