I realized it would be priced a little bit higher because it was a lot of damage done over the winter to the pool. I kept waiting and waiting and texting them about every 2 weeks till I find out when he would give me the final price and when he could do it. I suggested to do a search on Yelp and he landed on Deluxe Pool Services. I held my breath... and they came through. The services he gets include opening/closing and weekly cleanings. Dad is especially impressed because whenever there are issues with his pool, their customer service is so top tier, they are on it immediately to resolve the problem. Their location is in CT but you can see from the reviews that they work with pools all over LI (and apparently as far as Albany, according to my father). Their maintenance people are fast, friendly and thorough (I've been at the house a couple times when they serviced the pool). Reasonably priced, too. Important to note that my father is someone who doesn't tolerate inconsistent timeliness (this probably goes for 9/10 dads, no?) and they are always on time or they call. You really can't ask for anything more when it comes to pool services.

Prices are reasonable and the results are wonderful. There has been a lot of rain this season and pool maintenance can be a nightmare. I tried every Do-It-Yourself method from checking the water at pool stores and dumping in whatever they sold me, to the Water-Guru WiFi gadget that never got my free chlorine above zero. With Pool Works they will come out on a regular rotation, and depending on what you need will apply the chemicals, adjust or repair equipment, and if needed will vacuum debris. And they are wonderful to work with. It doesn't get any better than this.
