They offer a great selection of danishes, croissants, pastries, crepes, and coffee. We had a great experience here. The pastries were fresh, flaky, and delicious. The raspberry pastry was rich and not overly sweet and the crepe topped with strawberries, bananas, blueberries, and chocolate drizzle was amazing. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing. There were so many pastries to choose from, and everything looked fresh and inviting. The shop was clean, cozy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Both were medium size. Total for both was over $17... $20 with tip. One thing that gets on my nerves are non full service restaurants requesting for tips at the cashier station. First impression: It made me feel like a senior citizen that can no longer chew my food so I have to have my care taker use a vita-mix and blend it until pulverized. Eventually, after consuming half of it, the baklava did grow on me. Next time I will order this with chocolate for that Dubai chocolate flavor. They do have other flavor I want to try like the red velvet cake. Be warned, this is not an every day thing. There must've been 3000 - 5000 calories for that medium size shake.

Having a good service background, my husband and I are always understanding when a place is training staff - everyone starts somewhere. But what makes a difference is that everyone still had a smile on their face no matter how overwhelmed they may have felt! We've never received anything BUT great service. The food is delicious and came out fairly quickly considering it was a busy Saturday. We talked with the owner who's owned the place for the last 8 years and they try hard to preserve the restaurant. He shared that the bar top stools were the original nickel stools, they had the original coffee machines and the original grill/stovetop. Their goal is to make updates to the restaurant while still keeping some of the history, which I feel is really special.
