A friend…read moreinvited me to join the ECO Mangrove Paddle Tour on a Sunday morning and it's the best thing I did on my trip to Florida. Lisa is patient, a great instructor and makes sure you experience the nature - the spider crabs, the sounds of the mussels, the ospreys and more. Even with beginners, she was able to adapt the tour to accommodate. There was a young woman who hadn't paddled before and Lisa and her assistants kept an eye on her, coached her and even adjusted her equipment to make her paddle even more successful. The assistants are a notable feature. Lisa told us that any time they have a group of 5 or more she has at least one of these experienced paddlers as an assistant. These assistants bring up the back and monitor the group to adapt to speed, take photos, encourage and guide. I highly recommend this tour, whether you're an experienced paddler, have your own board, or need to use the very high quality equipment they provide. The next time I'm in town I plan to take the tour again.

We ordered parts online for our car's specific make/model via the Yakima brand website, but after receiving the parts from our online order it was clear we needed some direction and assistance from a seasoned professional! Enter Native Water Sports! We've seen the store several times but never went it. We decided to go and we are so glad we did. Ted, the owner and operator, graciously helped us get the proper parts and told us he'd call us back to the store once received. About a week later, the parts were here, and Ted and my husband arranged a time at the shop. He not only helped install the rack to ensure that it was safely mounted, but he also showed my husband how he did it and was very hands-on! It took them about one and a half hours - and we were good to go. He showed us how to use the straps, how to take the pads off/on, etc. You can absolutely tell Ted is a well seasoned professional kayak guy - not only that, but he's friendly and just a genuinely nice person. For any kayak needs - car racks, life jackets, kayaks, and pretty much any kayak accessory known to man - Ted is your guy for honest help!

My Board was ordered on a Thursday and it was delivered to me through The Boardroom SUP all with in a week, I picked it up on a Friday and I was on the water the following weekend after placing my order amazing no one else I know can do that in that amount of time. They have staff from team riders who sat down with me to help me design the function of my board and what I was going to use it for. They helped me decided the future fin box set up in which i went with a quad plus one so I can take it from the flat water to the waves all in the same day depending upon the weather conditions. I was able to customize my board even more by adding the color of my rail the color of the top and bottom of the board, and i was able to have them inlay my favorite designers fabric into the board. My board is a one of a kind and I get awesome comments on it all the time. He was super helpful in helping me select the right fishing kayak for my needs and gave us great tips on how to properly Stow the kayak and what equipment I would need to add for fishing.
