Last year, I bought a brand new home from a nation wide reputed builder in North Fulton county of…read moreGeorgia. We built our home with lots of upgrades and added lot of high end aesthetic features to the home. One of the top priorities for us immediately after closing was choosing the window treatments and real wood shutters was my top choice. However I was very concerned about the total price of the shutters for such a huge house we had as well as how to pick the best vendor who can do very high quality work. While doing my extensive research, I came across Castleberry Shutters. Apart from getting quotes from really big home improvement stores, I thought I will atleast get a quote from them. I met with Tim Castleberry and immediately within 15 minutes of meeting, talking to him and seeing the samples he showed to us, I knew I will be in right hands by working with them. These guys have been in business for really long time and they are local Atlanta company and manufacture their own shutters. I felt that they really cared about the quality since they were not typical third party resellers and since it was their family own business, they offered the best value for money. The best part is - Tim not only offered me an excellent price but also told me that they offer lifetime warranty which means anything happens to any of the shutters they will fix / replace it for free. I felt thats really huge. With leap of faith, I ordered shutters for my entire home and requested him to deliver on time within few days of my closing. We stayed in touch and I told him my closing date few weeks before closing and he said they are right on time. The day after I closed their staff set up a time to come and install my shutters. Their installers came on time and did an outstanding clean job installing my already looking awesome shutters. The whole look and feel of my home changed 360 degrees after shutters were installed. All my neighbors gave us compliments on this new addition to our home. My initial apprehension to hire a non branded big company for fairly large investment on this part of home upgrade soon turned into one of my best decisions so far I made while building my new home. We absolutely love their work and recommend them to all our family and friends. BTW within few days they sent a follow up warranty person to make sure to touch up every small little scratch the shutters may have developed while manufacture/ installation. That was the icing on the top! I feel that they are worth every penny and on top of that these shutters added not only beauty we will enjoy till we live in this home but it also added a lot of resale value to my property.

Shutter Pros is the best! John was great, he provided outstanding service and got my front door…read moreshutter installed perfectly. When I bought my new house, I purchased "whole home blinds" directly from the builder but for whatever reason the front door was not included. My real estate agent referred me to John and within two days he made it out to my house, took measurements, and had everything ordered. Pricing was affordable. He let me pay for half up front and the other half upon completion. A few weeks later, everything came in and John came back out and got the shutter installed in about 15 minutes. I can't thank John enough, I get compliments all the time about the shutter and finally have some privacy at the entrance. He's highly knowledgeable of his craft and a true professional. I would definitely do business with Shutter Pros again.

Shutter Pros was competitive on price (slightly higher than some of the bigger companies you've heard of) but what sealed the deal for us was the customer service and install timing. John has been an absolute pleasure to work with, and the quality of the shutters is fantastic. We had an issue with a broken window that was awaiting replacement, and John came back out to remove the shutters on that window and then re-install them after the window was replaced and no additional charge. I also love that this is a small, local business who utilizes another small, local business to manufacture the shutters. You will not regret your choice of Shutter Pros!

Outdoor blind fell down immediately after install. Shade has hold down brackets to keep it in place. A different installer comes back and tells me the blind isn't supposed to be down in more than 5mph winds. Help me understand why you install hold down brackets then? In 0-5mph wind do you need them? And if the blind is down and the wind picks up it gets ripped off the side of the house? So frustrating! My other motorized shade wasn't ordered properly so that one still has not been installed.
