Let me just say that we could not be any more happier that we are moving out in a few months. We have a "countdown to move-out day" because of how much we hate living here. We are relocating to Florida and are overjoyed. With that being said, I cannot think of ONE redeeming quality that New Village has to offer. Let me just start off by saying that is painfully expensive to live here. The rent is astronomical. If parking spots are available at all, you are stuck paying $54.31 per month for one and then another $79.31 per month on top of that for a second one. You are not allowed to "opt-out" of the valet trash service that comes Sunday-Thursday nights at eight o'clock, which is an additional $25.00 per month. One night, we actually found our garbage can thrown on its side in the middle of the hallway (???). Other than the overpriced rent and "monthly fees" that living here entail, the incompetence of the leasing staff is a major headache. For the amount of money that it costs to live here, one would think that they would receive top-shelf, sincere customer service. That is certainly not the case. It is nearly impossible to receive a response to an email sent to the leasing office. There were countless occasions where we would have to send a second and a third email in order to receive an answer to a problem that we had. There are also constantly things breaking such as the garage gates and the elevators. They are "down" for hours at at time until someone decides to show up to fix it. We had a couple of issues within the apartment that we contacted the maintenance staff about and it was like pulling teeth to get them to accommodate our schedule. Not everyone is comfortable with someone in their home without them being present as well. They are only able to come between the hours of 8am-5pm on weekdays. If you are not home during that time and do not give them permission to enter, best of luck trying to reason with them. They will only show up outside of those hours if it is an "emergency" and to them, an emergency only constitutes as something "leaking". On one occasion, my fiancé fixed the dishwasher himself because the maintenance staff was too difficult to deal with. The walls are paper thin in the buildings, so much so that you literally hear everything and anything: your neighbors vacuuming, talking, slamming doors, and even just dropping things. The noise level coming from outside whether day or night is just awful: an obnoxious amount of car horns honking, motorcycles, "sports cars" speeding... you name it. At night time, you are kept awake by some more honking, talking (you can hear someone's conversation verbatim coming from the sidewalk) screaming, fighting, etc. How can I forget to mention the fire alarms that are SO ear-piercing that they can damage someone's hearing? They go off several times per month, at all different times, for a minimum of fifteen minutes at a time. It's funny because my fiancé and I joked about waiting until the day we hand in our keys to the leasing office to submit this review but when every single day here is pure aggravation, I could not wait anymore to write this review to warn other potential victims to stay away from this place at all costs. Between the incompetence of the staff, lack of customer service, overpriced rent, "mandatory monthly dues", inconsiderate neighbors and disruptive, noisy surroundings, do yourself a favor and move somewhere else. We are just about ready to start packing now! read more

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE living at New Village! People complain that it is "pricey" however, I would prefer to pay an extra $100/$200 a month for the amazing service, friendly staff, a beautiful apartment and awesome amenities! I have lived in Fairfield apartments, and Heatherwood communities that are cheaper but the experience was awful! Management at New Village is amazing! If there is ever an issue (which is rare)they go above and beyond to resolve it. I have read the reviews about people complaining about how loud it is on the weekend, but 1) You are living in Patchogue where there are restaurants and bars, so not sure why they are surprised. 2) If you want a quiet area just pick an apartment that is not located on main street. The apartments are BEAUTIFUL the entire staff is amazing, they became our second family! I moved to Rhode Island, which was the only reason we left. Additionally, the security of the place is awesome. I have never felt safer, between needing the key fabs to get in the building, to get in the elevator, stair ways... pretty much everywhere! I know no visitor or stranger can walk in the building. They also have security walking the hallways Thursday-Sunday. With every place you move to there will be pros and cons. You will never find a perfect place. I would say there are only two cons...The parking, there is one spot in the garage per apartment. There are "resident only" parking spots, but sometimes its tough to get one. There are two huge parking lots located along Lake avenue that you can park in. 2nd con is the lack of areas to walk the pups. There are two grassy areas designated for dogs(which is to expected since it is pretty much city living) but a lot of people speed through the parking lot and it makes me a bit uncomfortable to walk the dogs thru the parking lot, especially at night. There is a larger "hang out" type of area you can walk dogs at; however, it was just on the otherside of where my building was. And as to be expected with living in ANY apartment building, if you have someone living above you, you can sometimes hear them if they are stomping or doing something ridiculous, however, you CANNOT hear your neighbors conversations thru the walls or if they are just walking in their apartment (like some other review said). I think the negative reviews here come from people who've never lived in an apartment building before! So over all, New Village is amazing! If you want to pay less then go to the Fairfields or Heatherwood communities you will get what you paid for. I had to transition from a large home to an apartment, and I was dreading it. I looked into New Village because it keeps me close to my daughter. Initially, I was looking for a one-bedroom apartment but quickly realized it was not a good fit. I even started the paperwork. Gabriella, the Senior Sales and Marketing Associate, took her time to ensure I was happy and suggested I look at the apartment once it was prepped. She was highly professional and courteous. The day the apartment was prepped and ready for me to take a look, Gabriella happened to be off. Amanda, the assistant general manager, walked me through the apartment. Even though the apartment was modern and set up beautifully, I asked if they had anything in a two-bedroom. We went down to Amanda's office, and she found a few other apartments available soon. The first one she showed me was ok, but the second was perfect! It was not fully prepped, but she said she would look into it for me since that day was already designated as my move-in date. Amanda spoke to the maintenance people and said she would make it happen - that night! All this was happening in the late afternoon. Amanda stayed late that night to make sure everything was in place. She presented an incredible pride and work ethic and put in personal time to make me feel welcomed. You do not see that in people these days. So far, it has been like that for the few weeks I have moved in. Whatever I need, Gabriella or Amanda, get it done. I have seen some negative reviews on Yelp, and my experience has been vastly different from those people. I am wondering if they even took the time to ask for help resolving their issues before they left a review. Even if I don't end up staying here long, I will never forget my experience with Gabriella and Amanda. Even my teenage daughter was impressed and said I would like it here because "the people are pretty cool." I recommend that anyone looking for an apartment look seriously at New Village. The apartments are modern and clean, they are safe, and the amenities are great. Yes. It is not the cheapest apartment in town, but it is well worth it read more

I have lived at New Village for almost a year now. Unfortunately, I moved in the same week that NY shut down due to Covid but I have to thank the staff for making me feel very "at home" in a brand new town during the last difficult year. Both Nicks, John and Reggie ALWAYS have smiles on their faces and have been a pleasure to deal with. They have been welcoming and helpful in all regards! While I haven't had the full experience that I was hoping for in terms of community events etc (again due to Covid!) I have really enjoyed living here. The apartments are on the pricier side however the building itself is very nice and my apartment is gorgeous. The pool was a really fun place to be during the summer and the community outdoor spaces/balconies have some great views of the Bluepoint Brewery. I was able to make some great friends in the community spaces throughout the year. I love living in the heart of this up-and-coming town on Main St. right in the middle of all the action and it's a plus to be in walking distance to everything. I don't have any issues with noise as some other reviews have stated but a tip for anyone living in a community setting in general - buy a white noise machine to sleep with at night - won't hear a thing regardless! Side note as someone else said - the fire station that is across the street does sound their alarm at 12 noon daily and it is very loud but you get used to it in time. All in all I highly recommend New Village and really look forward to the next year here! read more

I've lived here for 6 months now and I LOVE IT!!! Yes, it's HELLA pricey; but you have to ask yourself what's important to YOU. I love that the building is secure. You can't even wander in the staircases without a key! I feel safe. The amenities fee is $500 (sucks!) and you have to pay for parking, so I park my car on the street and pray nobody bothers that bitch - HA!!! I am really fond of the staff and adore my neighbors. The fact of the matter is... It's beautiful here! There aren't many REAL "luxury communities" in the surrounding areas and if you appreciate resting your head in a beautiful living space - you're going to pay! It isn't a child-friendly community. I asked if there were children here prior to signing my lease and the Rep said she legally couldn't tell me (deep sigh). I had to learn that my baby wouldn't have any buddies to play with AFTER moving in. The Patchogue Library has a STELLAR children's program for all ages so we meet kiddies there. Many of the reviews are complaining about the "over-priced rent" but there isn't a lot of availability. I am not the only one who absolutely LOOOOOOVES where she lives. When reading the reviews, you have to keep in mind that everyone doesn't appreciate the same things. Some would rather drive an expensive car; wear designer EVERYthing and live in a hole-in-the-wall. I don't write many reviews but considering the incredible experience I've had here at New Village I felt like I had to share. From the first moment I stepped into New Village I knew that this was where I was going to call home. The staff was so warm and welcoming, and I instantly fell in love with the community. The apartments are impeccable with oversized closets, up-scale finishes and a modern vibe. Patchogue in particular is a prime location for restaurants, night life, shopping, beaches and more so I was instantly driven to the area. New Village has so many events going on so you have plenty of opportunity to meet your neighbors- many of which I can now call my friends. Between their free Zumba classes, free concerts, free dinners, sundae nights and holiday inspired parties you get every pennies worth that you pay here. The property manager and assistant property manager in the office are always at all the events and really look like they enjoy their jobs, smiling and taking the time to get to know the residents personally. The office staff is always so kind and ready to help me with my packages, or any other questions I may have. I look forward to calling New Village home for years to come. read more

It's just soooo NOT worth the price. I'm sorry to say. For a family or professional person I would go somewhere else.... ANYWHERE else. Yes they have nice things such as a pool, closet gym and a common room but they allow ANYONE to live here and there is NO security... Remember we are in Patchogue. Not the upper west side or somewhere else who would charge you similar prices. When you are here you soooo want to like it but week in and week out Fraternity BS happens every weekend. DO NOT believe the line about security or even a peace keeper.... Thy are not existent. Unless you call the employees who live here peace keepers. UPDATE - this place still sucks and anyone would be a fool to pay over $2,000 to live here and stay awake based on the poor quality Windows and noise prevention..... Let's think about this people... Patchogue is just getting busier and busier... Do you really want to be able to hear all the drunken BS which goes on at four AM just because new village did a piss pour job in making the Windows sound proof? Or even somewhat sound proof?... . If you don't like to sleep or don't care about sleeping from 12am to 6am then this is the place for you!!!! read more

Having watched the Patchogue area grow exponentially over the past few years I knew it was a place I wanted to be. Once New Village came to fruition I jumped on the opportunity to be one of the first to inquire. Dealing with Dorothy, and her entire leasing team, made moving here an easy decision for me. They worked with me every step of the way; from the beginning, just being interested, through signing the lease, setting up utilities and everything in between. They never hassle you and are always there if you need them. There is everything you could want and then some available to you whenever you need. A heated pool, personal gym, beautiful clubhouse and some of the best bars and restaurants on Long Island make this a no brainier. All of that, and the apartment units are top of the line, energy efficient and beautiful. Everyone that I have met in our complex has been friendly and neighborly. The only way to really get a feel of how great it is would be come down yourself and take a look. read more

So I am going to start my review by saying how much I love New Village!!!! Ever since I moved in, everyone has been so helpful and accommodating, especially Lauren! Lauren has been my go to girl for everything I need, is very knowledgable, and super friendly! If any of you are interested in these apartments, speak to her because she's truly awesome! I love the fact that the building does different activities for there residents (examples: outdoor movie nights, fall festivities, paint nites, etc.) How can you go wrong? One of the biggest perks of living here is how dog friendly they are and how good they treat my own dog! I am very happy here and will be renewing my lease next year because I just love it here! Plus, who wouldn't want to live in Patchogue with the nightlife and yummy restaurants! Everything is brand new and so modernized in the apartments. New Village is everything they promised it to be! The staff is always attentive, friendly and they address any concerns quickly and efficiently! NO, the walls are not paper thin, the buildings ARE secure and the street noise is not overbearing! Though the rent is not cheap, it is far from overpriced!!!!! Despite what one of the other reviewers stated about the rent being comparable to the upper west side- it is obvious that this person's statement is unfounded!! It is clear that those who say that New Village is too expensive simply cannot afford it, but knocking the facility should not be a means of making yourself feel better. Those who choose to live there do so knowing the cost but want the worry free lifestyle.. As anyone who has owned a home knows, there is always something to fix or spend time and money on. We've been at New Village at Patchogue for a month now, having just relocated from Florida. Our experience thus far has definitely exceeded our expectations. The rooms inside the apartments are spacious, with state-of-the-art appliances and gorgeous décor. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the complex is truly a community with events and offerings that go above an beyond the traditional "apartment complex" feel. The security is on another level here, giving us peace of mind and a feeling of great safety. We are proud to call New Village at Patchogue our home. The shops and dining that surround the complex make the area a vibrant and fun place to be. We simply can walk downstairs and have our choice of dining from a plethora of trendy and delicious restaurants. The location is fantastic! We see ourselves staying here for a while as we have already called this place our home! read more

I toured the property with Dorothy after seeing their sign near Main Street. I am one of those on the fence between home buying or renting and at the moment. I'm trying to weigh in the pros and cons of both. The amount of amenities draw you in here. The only thing that didn't qualify me was the breed and size restriction of my dog, since I have one of the "friendliest pitt bulls", but oh well. I knew that prior I got him. Aside from that, which is a bummer, I still want to share my lovely experience touring the property with Dorothy and seeing the gorgeous apartments. I want to share my review with everyone because, after being a former Suffolk county girl, this property is such a breath of fresh air to the thriving area of Patchogue. Great to see great people and a clean well managed property bring a fabulous addition to the neighborhood. 5 stars!!! read more

It is unfortunate that the negative reviews come from those who do not live at New Village. Everything about this place is luxurious and comfortable at the same time, no detail was spared in the creation of this community. However it is the attention to detail and care from the leasing office that really sets it apart. Dorothy, Keri, Rosalie have been exceptionally committed to their occupation. They have shown remarkable business acumen throughout my time living here. They ensure that everything is handled in a timely manner. They are there day, night and weekends, responding to queries within minutes. Nick (concierge) and the maintenance staff are fantastic as well. They are always there for all your needs. Overall the complex is beautifully cared for, but it's the staff that really makes it great place to live. read more

I toured the property and absolutely love it!! The grounds are well-kept, the community room is beautiful, and the people are so friendly. I am definitely interested in moving there when the time comes for me to move. The staff and management are wonderful. I didn't feel like they were just showing me an apartment, they were truly interested in helping me find something that would fit my needs when the time comes. I have had the pleasure of attending some of their community events and had a great time. I am amazed at all the things they do for their residents. From what I have seen and experienced from friends that live there, it seems that the staff truly cares about the property and its residents. read more

I have been here for about 4 months now and the place is exceeding my expectations. from the very top of management to the people who clean the property everyday, everyone has a smile on their face and is more than happy to accommodate and resolve any issue I've had. and i have to say there hasn't been many! the girls in the office are absolutely amazing and the building maintenance personnel are phenomenal. the best decision i ever made was moving into the new village at patchogue! i cannot wait to renew my lease! plus all the activities they organize for the residents are ever changing and exciting from outdoor movies to margarita nights! I've been a resident here since the opening of New Village. The staff is professional and accommodating, the apartment comfortable and the amenities second to none. But it's more than that. I've rented from Fairfield and lived in one of the many illegal apartments littered throughout the island. Does it cost more to live at New Village? Yes, but you pay for what you get. That's Capitalism, unabashed and unapologetic. I've had the good fortune of staying employed during these difficult economic times and took a hard look at my finances. It was worth the added expense. I am a long time resident of Patchogue. When New Village was first presented to the community I knew that it was were I needed to be when I was ready to downsize. Living here these past 3 months has been a dream come true. I adore my apartment! It is absolutely perfect and I immediately felt at home. Dorothy, April, TJ, Roe, Lee, Chris, Jim and the rest of the team are second to none. Always there to help. I love going downstairs to eat, shop or take part in the many activities on Main Street! New Village is AMAZING! Im so glad my husband and I moved here. The leasing office staff are incredible and so helpful. maintenance staff are timely and always on top of there jobs. hallways and common areas are always spotless. Amenities are great. Fitness center is a bit small, but A LOT better and has great equipment compared to other local apartments, As far as a review saying hallways are paper thin? We NEVER hear anyone, not even our neighbors. Yeah we hear people outside on the weekends but it doesn't bother us, its a lively and a fun community. We will never leave! read more

My Mom and Dad moved into New Village several months ago, I have been so impressed with the staff! Rosalee and Joanne have been so kind and helpful, going above and beyond to help with anything and everything! The building is immaculate and gorgeous, like a 5 star hotel! I especially love that the tenants are from all age groups, also they are pet friendly which is so hard to find these days. I highly recommend New Village! read more
