I've been going here for a few months and believe this is a solid PT office on this part of the island with a lot of potential, but I do have a few problems with it that I'd like addressed before I can give it a higher rating.
(5/5) Front desk staff is wonderful; all of the staff I've worked with are friendly, attentive, and easy to work with. They're easy to reach by phone and booking appointments is super quick. They also call you every day before your appointment as a reminder so you don't forget. They're also very quick in the office and try to get you in and out as fast as possible.
(4/5) PT - most are good; I want to say I've been to most of the PTs in this location at this point. I can't say their procedures are top notch compared to other places I've been to, but I can't really complain on my end. Some are not as careful/attentive to your needs as I'd like them to be, but if you mention to them your exact pain points, and how you prefer the procedure performed, then they will reciprocate.
(5/5) Acupuncturist - I've been a few times already and think she is wonderful. Clearly very knowledgeable, knows exactly what she is doing, and is very receptive of your needs. She is super friendly and loves helping people, really glad that she is in this office.
(NA) have not been to chiropractor
(2.5/5) Doctor - To be fair, I haven't had a procedure performed by the doctor; he seems fairly knowledgeable and probably knows what he is doing. He's probably there for those with serious injuries and I do not have one.
This is more of a review of his manning the office. Biggest problem I have here is his management of the front desk staff and the PTs. I've been here multiple times over the past couple of months, and he constantly criticizes, scolds, complains, and makes regular passive aggressive comments to his staff directly or about one staff member to another staff member - and he does this all in front of the patients. Multiple times I've been laying down and I hear him scolding one of the PTs for something very minor. If there are any issues with somebody...take them aside, let them know what they're doing wrong; give them some guidance by training or coaching so they can improve their mistakes. Offhanded remarks in front of patients and staff don't help anybody.
He has this same attitude towards the patients, and I've had multiple experiences (both personal and overhearing) where patients ask him about certain procedures or advice about something, and he completely dismisses them with a generic response with little to no context. This passive and uncaring attitude creates an uncomfortable and confusing environment for the patients and makes them question the quality of the procedures they are receiving.
I felt that this would be a great review since there are none as of yet. Like I said, I think this office has a lot of potential and I am fairly satisfied with the procedures I am receiving. I think leadership has to improve to increase the quality of the patient experience and it would be a much more enjoyable (and less stressful) experience for everybody involved. read more
