They then denied me treatment due to a medical situation that would not have caused the problems they were claiming. I left very upset and consulted my Dr who disputed their claims. I then consulted several other facilities that provide laser tattoo removal who all contradicted what I was told at PB Med spa. I am now under going treatment at another facility with no adverse reactions or complications. I would call their expertise in the services they provide into question. Do your homework before using their facility.

With that being said, I am so glad that I gave this place a try! I really appreciate the fact that this place is a one-stop shop (hair, nails, facials, body care, and makeup) because although I like to get pampered, I appreciate having everything done in one place due to my busy schedule. Whoever the designer was did a really good job at separating the salon and spa side of things. I really liked that the spa/skincare side was separated from the hair and nail side of things. The place is very clean and I did notice that my esthetician used new sponges on me and threw them away after using them (fun fact - by law estheticians are required to use new sponges on clients - however I've been to some shady places that did not do this....eekgads!). Julia and Whitney performed an Acne Sterilization and Black Charcoal Mask treatment on my face. Not only were they gentle but also informative while performing the procedure. Highly recommend visiting these ladies for any skin care procedure. As a man, we tend to be intimidated by visiting a Medical Spa like this but Briarwood has a great atmosphere and positive vibe. I just moved from California where I had access to the top of the line waxing salon called Pink…read moreCheeks. I was nervous going to someplace and someone new. I decides to give EWC a try since it had really great reviews and they use hard wax. Mandy did my Brazilian the first time I went and I was wonderful! The next time someone else did it and it did sting a little but despite using a topical numbing agent. I highly recommended going to Mandy at EWC, especially if you have a low pain tolerance. I have a high pain tolerance fyi and when I used anyone else it hurt. Also you might want to check out PFB Topical Anesthetic. Apply it 10-15 minutes before you wax and it will take that sting out. It has 5% lidocaine which is the max OTC. If your a beginner the worst part is the anticipation of the pain not the actual pain. Also look for an exfoliating brush. It has a wooden paddle, not sure what the bristles are made of but it helps to prevent ingrown's. I haven't had one since I started using it. Use it 2 days after you wax and use soap with it. Then use the EWC gel/cream that prevents ingrown's. Also, to help with the pain prior to waxing don't have anything acidic and no caffeine and take some ibuprofen about 20 min before you go in! Hope this review helps! I definitely recommend Mandy!! Plus she uses baby powder which makes all the difference in the world :)

This is the first time I have made a review on Yelp but I feel folks need to have a heads up…read more Walgreens as a prescription provider, at least in Midland, has really gone down in quality and availability in the past few years but I went back due to insurance needs. I was recently prescribed a common antibiotic at electronically from the doctors office at 4 pm on a Tuesday. This prescription was not ready for pickup until 5:30 pm on Wednesday. Almost 26 hours. I went in mid day Wednesday and offered to wait and was told "they don't do waiters". This store has courteous staff but it is impossible to get thru to talk to a real person if you call. I had to call the corporate office to get that done. The excuse I was given was the pharmacist was "unavailable" Tuesday afternoon and they got backed up. Add into that the daily lunch shut down and you can see why there is the excessive wait. No pharmacy either Saturday or Sunday at this location. Not sure if the other Walgreens locations are a better option but that's my next move.
