Ive never went to a nail shop that don't clean your nails/toes after they've finished polishing etc....

Horrible. Dirty. Unhygienic. Was charged for clear gel polish, but was given clear regular polish instead. Pedicure only lasted 6 days. They also put the used tools back in the basket, and began using the same tools on the next client, without disinfecting. read more

I was visiting from out of town and needed my nails done. Big mistake. I had two different technicians for my hands and feet. Instead of being patient to let the acetone soak off my previous set, they just drilled off my previous color, which led to them both burned me with the drill. The nail utensils like the foot dead skin grater were not in the sanitary packs, and the toe separators used on me were put back into a tool box instead of being thrown out. I got gel on my toes and the pinky toe completely peeled off at the end of service and had to be redone. The oil on my legs was wiped with a dry towel instead of a wet, hot towel. So i left sliding in my sandals. For my nails the technician did not remove the previous color completely. I was initially going to get French tip but changed my mind once i recognized the level of service being given. I just stuck with the nude base, but noticed the previous rust orange color that i had was showing under the new nude color. It's been about 12 hours since I've had my nails done, and my finger nails are currently hurting. If they still hurt when i wake up i will probably remove. Tech also messed up my clear coat. Btw, they offer dip powder, but apply it like acrylic, so my assumption is they're mixing the dip with acrylic to stretch product. The technician seemed frustrated when i kindly asked for small things like fixing my nail shape. read more

Came here for a basic pedicure and was treated like trash. Guess I wasn't spending enough money on a Monday. The lady doing my feet literally tossed my foot around. Barely performed the pedicure. Did the absolute bare minimum. I really didn't want to pay but I don't have the energy for the drama. Never had a pedicure be completed in 10 minutes. $28 I would have rather painted my own feet. This place sucks and this is NOT my first bad experience. Came here before and the lady pretended to give me the wrong amount of money back for my change. Terrible experience. My gel mani-pedi lasted 1 hour. I called to tell them I was coming in to get them fixed and came in the next day. Once I arrived, they were nonchalant and in no rush to fix them. They wanted me to come back hours later. I asked for a refund because I did not have time to wait for such a long period of time. They also were not apologetic at all. I posted my nails along with my experience on my Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. At least 10 people who live in the community have had terrible experiences here related to results of nails and customer service. This is not my first bad experience here. I WILL NOT BE BACK, and am upset that I must travel to salons in Smyrna and Buckhead to receive quality service. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I truly would. They do not value proper customer service or care. I paid $65 for a fill-in that was a medium length with no design (a little on the high end, but I wasn't too concerned about that) . My concern was the way I was treated afterwards. Less then 6 days later one of the nails broke completely off. I came back in that same day with the idea of getting the nail fixed, and left with nothing. I was very polite and explained to the person at the front desk that my nail was broken on a fresh set, she then sent me back to the original nail tech that did it. This woman had a very nasty attitude and was upset that I told her the nail broke. It was ONE single nail that needed to be fixed, and she acted as though I asked her to drive me to Canada . She was finishing up on one woman, and soon as she was done she got started on the nail, but out of pettiness left me sitting around for 25 minutes and told me it would be $10 to repair "ONE" single NAIL , while she started someone else's FULL SET. Fixing that one nail would've taken her less then 15 minutes, but the idea of me coming back made her so upset. She never finished the nail, but instead had me sitting around waiting for over 25 minutes because she had an attitude about me saying the nails that i just had done were starting to break. I was very polite, and asked her for a manager, and she refused to tell me who they were , saying "no " verbatim Everytime I asked. I believe the techs name was Kim , but don't quote me. She sits in the back in chair 14, sometimes the chair to the left of it, and the woman was very short and skinny with a black bob hairstyle . As I started to complain about the service, the woman told me "you talk too much , I will not do your nails , you argue too much". I told her , you don't talk to paying customers like that, that's very unprofessional. You don't tell a paying customer they "talk too much" . She then begin to ignore me , and never came back. I walked around that salon as SEVERAL people witnessed, over and over asking multiple nail techs if they could please fix this nail for me. They all looked at me saying they were "busy" . One lady even told Me she doesn't do nails but just finished Someone else's full set . Everyone around me was telling me they are pitiful for that . In reality, the customers all knew she was wrong. And several of them commented As a paying customer I was very upset . I walked out with a partially fixed nail and ended up having to go to another salon and unfortunately they didn't have the color to match it !!!! read more

Each time I go to get my nails done they are nice. My nails are done the way that I asked and no complaints from the nail tech about what I asked for. Usually I go to Lee, Vincent, or Ben. They are the best technicians at this location. I always get the ombré nails short to medium length with almond or coffin shaped nails. It's in my neighborhood and I don't feel like driving to buckhead just to get my nails done. I only go once a month. In my opinion they do a great job that lasts me one month. read more

The service and bad attitude of one of the technicians has turned me off completely from this salon. I selected my color for my pedicure and asked for a match for the gel color for my manicure. Yes, yes , yes was the response. The pedicure was complete before the manicure started and the technician, it appears was angry, upset about something and was yelling so loudly I could not hear my audiobook. My cuticle was clipped as she kept pulling my hand to her ... awkward and uncomfortable. I did not notice the difference in color until I put my hand and feet together and then showed her. She rushes over with the box to say it was the same and as if it absolved her told me I had to get up to get my pedicure dry. No offer to change polish or apology. I paid the charge without a tip and then she got very belligerent yelling "have a nice day, bye ". So rude and unprofessional. Never again. This place is horrible. I went in to have my lashes done and the techs name is Cece. Cece has the nastiest attitude, not pleasant ,nor friendly , just pure rude. I'd forgotten to take my mascara off, so when I got to the back she told me she couldn't take the mascara off. People this lady gave me some alcohol on a piece of cotton and said I could take it off. I said no ma'am you never use alcohol in or on the eyes. Then I asked her if she had Vaseline and she was very hesitant and gave me some with attitude and a nasty smirk and talking smart afterwards. I took off the mascara while remaining calm and civil trying not to get out of character because I was about to verbally give her the business. She said to me as if I were stupid, well the lashes might come off as you used vaseline. I stated to her I knew how to wash my eyes after removing the vaseline. She still continued to be rude. She rudely placed someone else in the chair and I walked out so that I wouldn't really put her in her place in front of everyone, because I chose to remain professional. Please do not patronize this place for lashes done by Cece. They come into our neighborhoods and country as if we owe them something . I owe them nothing but to love them as Jesus does. I will never, I repeat never return give them a dime of my hard-earned money again! My daughter and I went to get our nails done on July 17th we both had got gel polish on both hands and feet a few days later both of our polish started pilling. I have acrylate on my nails she does not. I had three nails missing polish, she had about three to four nails. We return on July 22nd with receipt in hand because I wasn't sure if they were going to trip or not. I don't go to this shop regularly but have been about 4 times and didn't have any issue with my polish. I was first asked by a male nail tech who sits on the right how can he help me. I informed him that I just wanted to get my nails polished showed him my nails and my daughter's along with the receipt. He then asked who did my nails, I had no idea it didn't look like anyone who was currently working. He then walked away and said "oh so you don't know who did your nails" What color is that again sir I have no idea I don't remember numbers of color off the top of my head you will have to show me a color wheel or something. I then found the color and showed him. I asked him if he was going to polish my three little nails. He looked at me and said nope I didn't do it the first time! LOL Lord have mercy I had to pray. There was another woman there with her elderly mother she informed him that her mother was waiting on a pedicure and a manicure. He said "I don't do manicures and pedicures then proceeded to say do you understand. Once I went to sit down to wait on the manager as he informed. The other lady was staring at him as we both were with disgust he then turns around and walks up to her and said how can I help you? I mean just rude and obnoxious. I then when to the manager who also sucks and has anger issues. I show her my nails my receipt. She then said that my daughter and I picked our color off because we didn't like it, the same color we were trying to have polished that day! This shop is full of FOOLS! I have seen people go off in there before and now I see why! They refused to polish our nails even though it was less than a week since we received services. I was rudely greeted followed by attitude as if I wasn't there to spend money with them. I was then forced into getting a pedicure instead of a color change because they said if I want acrylic on my toes I need to get a pedicure. I'm sitting there feet in the water and the lady proceeded to say it's going to be $5 dollars to take the previous gel color off my toes which I don't understand because I'm paying you to do my feet and you telling me I should have taken it off before coming in. I'd been going here for a while, but won't be back. Nail tech I used left and the ones I've gotten are pitiful. Today I had a straight manicure while getting a pedicure. I wasn't in a rush and didn't ask them to do it simultaneously. The manicure was ok Incomplete. My cuticles went untouched, nails not shaped and only one coat of polish. I couldn't complain because no one spoke enough English to understand. I went home and finished my nails myself. NOT recommended. Oh, and two nail techs jibbered away to each other the whole time. I came in for a pedicure and It's been a long time since I got my feet done. I had gel which was almost off my toes and the lady started to use the tool to remove it. As she was doing it she said it will be $5 extra and if I do gel again it will be for free. I'm like hold up stop. You mean you started already to remove it and your going to charge me $5.00 extra to remove it and it was not much at all? I was so disappointed and they never even try to fix the customer service part. They just stopped and ask me to sit in the other chairs and wait for my family members. They are so rude, inconsiderate and top of that I'm tired of these nail techs that try to Nickel and dime you for everything. They are such a rip off. Very bad customer service!!!!! 1 star and they deserve it. DO NOT WAISTE YOUR TIME AND COME HERE. New Nails has definitely changed since the owners sold it a few years ago, but the one thing that is consistent is Ann! She is an excellent nail tech and I've been going to her exclusively for over 7 years. I can't speak for the rest of the shop, but I can speak for her. She is meticulous with her work, so she takes a little longer than others, but it's worth it. She does my pedicures and she waxes my eyebrows. I always get compliments on both. read more

This place has gone downhill since the owner sold it back in 2008-2009. DON'T waste your time! Unfortunately its really hard to find a decent nail salon in Southwest Atlanta but keep driving if you don't want bad service. I was desperate to get a mani so I decided to give it a shot in order to be on time for an event. The polish selection is old and mixed with others so they don't look like the true colors. This is definitely a place that cuts corners. Gel polish was the worse and my polish change on my toe was very greasy and dull b/c of the cheap products and oils. If anyone can recommend a good nail salon and tech in this area please comment because I'd surely appreciate it!!!!! read more

If I can give them a negative 0 I would. Please do not spend your money at this nail shop. Customer service is very pathetic and poor. The man who was during my toes became very aggressive towards me throwing tissue hitting my leg with it. He also took the chair he was sitting in and slammed it towards my pedicure chair. I called the police and I couldn't filed charges. But had it been me who acted out of character I would have been arrested. The witness didn't want to get involved, but had it been me I would have spoke on your behalf. They don't give a care about us all they want is the money. I strongly suggest that the owner read this message, because the business will never grow with aggressive employees. This situation could have turn ugly today had I reacted, but I remained calmed due to other customers present. The one who was aggressive towards me I hope you read this review, because you will be the cause of the business not prospering. Yes, I'm still going to try and file charges because I know my rights.
