We do a highlight and a lowlight and a nice creamy blonde base color to cover the gray. He does my base color every 4 weeks and we do the highlights and lowlights every other time. He does just the right amount of low lights to give my hair color dimension without making it too dark or ashy. He also has kept my hair SO HEALTHY looking by trimming off the dead stuff and giving me just the right amount of layers for shape and movement. The blowdryer I got from him is the best I have ever used and the awapuhi shampoo and conditioner is my absolute favorite!

I'm obsessed with their holistic take on life and professionalism! Every time I set foot in their little oasis, I'm instantly renewed with a breathe of energy! I am warmly welcomed and everyone there makes me feel right at home. (Love the tea they have there too)! J. Christopher truly knows the science behind hair and teaches you little techniques that you can do at home yourself so that you can achieve the same look without going to the salon. I have pretty curly hair, and getting my hair cut always scares me; some stylists like to get scissor happy but not with J. Christopher! He only cuts/trims what the hair needs, so that it is then able to grow in a healthy way. He is a joy to be around and extremely knowledgeable. If you enjoy learning how 'hair works' go to J. Christopher at Khaos & Kosmos! :)

He provided insight into my hair's texture and natural shape that no other stylist had done before, which means I can better identify the types of cuts that flatter me most. I have thick textured, straight Asian hair which, like curly hair, can be challenging to cut properly. If you're looking for a new stylist, be sure to give him a try. I should also mention that his salon is tranquil with a pretty view (no noisy chit chat and constant sound of blow dryers like you'll find in larger salons). Something to keep in mind, with this or any hair stylist, is to be involved in your experience. If the stylist is doing something that you don't like, say something immediately. Don't wait until you get home to write a Yelp review; that's doing a disservice to the business AND yourself as the customer.

Shannon is the owner of LIFTED MEDESTHETICS and is an extremely talented expert injector and…read morepractitioner in the field of medical aesthetics. I have received my second CO2 Cool Peel laser treatment from Shannon this year and I am so in love with my rejuvenation skin results! The laser treatment from Shannon is quick, and pain free, you will feel a little zapping during the laser treatment but is not uncomfortable at all. Shannon does an incredible job listening to your skin concerns and her communication is exceptional, you are truly in the best and supportive care with Shannon. On to the amazing benefits of the CO2 Laser; 'This laser can improve a variety of skin conditions that include: Pigmentation problems such as sun damage, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, skin laxity, redness, dull skin, dark under-eye circles and bag, thinning or crepey skin. ONLY the CoolPeel can deliver a fractional ablative treatment without the downtime.' - liftedmedesthetics.com In 5-7 days after my laser treatment my skin is truly glowing with my fine lines softer in appearance and my skin plumper and dewy! There is no down time, but you do need to be very mindful of little to no sun exposure after the treatment/during the healing process. A hat shading your face and sunscreen will offer the protection you need when out in nature. What was interesting to me was how quickly my skin healed after my second laser treatment. Shannon says this is normal as your skin gets used to the laser and learns how to heal and recover with multiple laser treatments. After my first laser treatments I did add on the PRF and after my 2nd Laser treatment I add on the the Exosomes... both of these additions are very beneficial for healing more efficiently by promoting cellular communication and reducing inflammation. I will be booking my 3rd cool Peel Laser treatment by the end of this year because I truly see a difference in my overall skin health, elasticity, reduction in my fine lines and my skin feels so silky smooth. I can literally see and feel that my skin goes through the regeneration process. The results are truly so AMAZING!!! Shannon recommends a series of 3 treatments to start, 4-6 weeks apart and then 1 or 2 laser treatments a year for maintenance. I am 44, the CO2 Laser will be me "go to" treatment for my selfcare, supporting my skin in aging gracefully. So grateful for Shannon offers this advanced laser treatment at LIFTED MEDESTHETICS in Crested Butte, Colorado and for Shannon's integral presence and expertise.

I also lathered my face and neck in Amazon's Ebanel 5% lidocaine cream before my appointment. I hardly felt the pokes and was so comfortable in Shannon's care. My service included: filler in my lips and jaw, as well as, botox for my forehead, crows feet, "lip flip", and neck. I already have future appointments scheduled and am so excited I found an injector I trust.
